@ElizabethLemon at my last appt baby was back to back too. My midwife said the same thing about sitting forward. I've had a stinking cold this week and felt rubbish so I've not been very good about it but will do from now on!

@jadeward89 so glad everything is ok.

@Northernbeachbum mines been a little bit quieter than normal but I do remember with my first he went through periods of being quiet at this stage. I think it's when they are growing. Obviously trust your instincts and if you are worried then always best to call the midwife.

We are also keeping names quiet. Not told anyone as I find people always have an opinion.

@ClareB83 hope you and the babies are ok? Sounds like you are getting excellent care. Keeping everything crossed for you xx

Just got told half an hour ago that the c section will be tomorrow morning unless I take a bad turn this evening.

I'm very happy because although it's been a day wasted waiting:

1. the boys get longer for the steroids to take effect
2. my test results show I'll probably be allowed a spinal instead of a general and I really want to be awake
3. I finally get to eat! Never been so happy to see hospital food.

Thanks. My kidneys function got a lot worse overnight so I had to have a catheter put in. I've never had one before and it made me a bit sorry for myself. I knew I'd need one for the c section but not to be dragging it around with me waiting for a slot, trying to sleep with it etc. These babies better be so fucking cute!!

@ClareB83 catheters are horrid. I've had a number in the past as i used to get bad kidney infections - best thing they did was take the rubbish kidney out! Your babies will be here soon. Hang in there xx

I’ve just lined my mattress with puppy training pads, the glamour of late pregnancy! 😅

Should add I’ve lined the mattress to protect it incase my waters go not so I can lie in bed peeing myself..

I hadn't even considered doing that @ElizabethLemon, maybe I need to buy a mattress protector in case he appears pre c section

Hi all, my boys were born today at 12:45 and 12:46.

They're breathing well but littler than they're growth scans so currently in NICU.

My c section was a bit more full on with the pre eclampsia so I haven't held them yet and won't for a few more hours while I get back on my feet, but DH held them already next to my head in delivery and he and mum are with them right now.

Despite these things being totally outside my birth plan I'm feeling really happy my boys are here. 😍
