That could be sciatica @milknosugar1.
Goodluck tomorrow chances are good that everything ng will be OK. Fingers crossed. Is anyone going with you

ATP1000 · 09/04/2018 20:01

Oh my goodness! What a day for everyone.
My mum and sister in law had quite severe bleeds in the first trimester and both were successful pregnancies. Very scary times, I hope you’re ok @justtowarm.

Congrats @biscay! That is fantastic news :)

@rhibee I hope your cold is not getting any worse, what a stressful time for you.

After saying I didn’t have much of a bump the other day I seem to have expanded over the weekend and now my coat is super tight and work clothes are a challenge! If all goes well with the NT test this week I’ll be telling colleagues on Friday.

I had blood taken at 10 weeks so I’m hoping they’ll have done the blood tests as well, I hadn’t thought of that!

Good luck to all for your scans this week!

Yup, had nerve pains @Milknosugar1 but mines more tailbone with the odd shooting pain. SIL says Pilates is helpful for it, will report back!
Bought some maternity leggings from ASOS and I honestly should have just bought normal leggings in a bigger size..

ladydolly · 09/04/2018 20:08

I have to go to the states for a week with work, the forecast is highs of 20 and lows of -2. None of my coats fit me. I have a limited maternity wardrobe because i was pregnant in the summer last time and I refuse to buy winter clothes for just a month or so but my regular clothes don't fit. What the bloody hell do I pack???

RhiBee29 · 09/04/2018 20:17

Thanks @ATP1000 I'm going out of my mind. I'm snappy with DH and have no motivation to do anything. I'm wishing away the days!

@ladydolly have a look at maternity bundles on eBay, they are cheap and will see you through and you can relist and sell them when you're back.

My first scan is on a Thursday (i’ll be 13+2) so yes absolutely petrified :-)

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 10/04/2018 09:01

Good luck today @lovesrunning

Hayleyxmx · 10/04/2018 12:41

Well 12+6 weeks today and have just thrown up everywhere for the first time surely morning sickness shouldn’t be starting now 🤢. I have so much sympathy now for everyone who has suffered with sickness for weeks, hats off to you ladies 🙌🏻

Oh no @Hayley! What rotten luck, hopefully it's just a 1 off (I say this very wishfully thinking as I have not been sick and been quietly smug that I wouldn't get any now I'm 11 weeks)

Hope all scans go well today/over the next couple of days!

Hayleyxmx · 10/04/2018 13:37

Thanks @Unicornchaser I have been thinking pregnancy is a walk in the park, how wrong was I 😆

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 10/04/2018 13:38

Oh bloody hell @Milknosugar1 I forgot to say good luck earlier to you too! Not that you needed it! Wahayyy what a relief!

RhiBee29 · 10/04/2018 13:49

So pleased for you @Milknosugar1

@Hayleyxmx hope it was a one off and doesn't continue x

Also had my scan today - all went well. So relieved! However I was put back 4 days.

Pleased for everyone else too, now the worry for the 20 week scan starts.

Boo to continuing morning sickness, I swear my symptoms are worse this week.

Hi ladies,
Just popping in to say hi as I haven't been online much lately, took me a while to find the second thread !
All well and good here, had scan a couple of weeks ago and all trisomy/downs etc tests have come back negative this week which is all a relief. Finding this pregnancy is going so much quicker than last time...probably because I have busy toddler keeping my mind elsewhere.
How's everyone doing? Scans must be happening daily now for most so wishing lots of luck to all and congrats to those who have already had them :)
Bear, 14+3 xx

EffRam · 10/04/2018 15:49

glad all went well @Milknosugar1 and @biscaytrafalgarfitzroy :) and everyone else that has had scans! So many now :) Got to wait until Monday for mine.

Alyosha · 10/04/2018 15:53

Thanks milknosuguar - it's such a relief. EffRam - it's definitely frustrating being due at the end of the month!

justtowarm · 10/04/2018 16:07

Congratulations on the lovely scan news everyone :) hopefully things are going well for @lovesrunning as well :)

Unicornchaser · 10/04/2018 16:37

I hear ya @EffRam, I'm due 30th Oct and my scan isn't until 13 weeks (2 weeks today) so think I'm one of the last to get scans! 😩

Trill27 · 10/04/2018 16:59

Had my scan today as well and all was ok!

Got a bit preoccupied by the blood test (I have a bit of a phobia and the person doing it messed it up a bit), so by the time I had the scan I was feeling quite spaced out. The position was a bit wrong apparently, I had to jump up and down, then empty my bladder, then go for a walk, eat something sweet, and fill my bladder again by drinking water. All a bit of a palava and it felt like it went on forever! But they got what they needed in the end. I got redated to 13+2 (previously 12+4).

@milknosugar I’ve been having sciatica type pains down one side of my bum and back of thigh and have found sitting on a hot water bottle really helps.

Good luck to all the others going for scans this week, and hope it goes quickly for the ones having to wait longer!

RhiBee29 · 10/04/2018 18:19

@Unicornchaser my scan is 2 weeks tomorrow, I'll keep you company in limbo land Confused
