Milknosugar1 - thanks, appreciate the info. I did feel a bit dirty - like I'd got this nasty bacteria in my fanjo somehow :p

Hopefully my GP's surgery will prescribe me the antibiotics without too much fuss!

Hope you're feeling alright after that dream - they certainly are more vivid in pregnancy!

dwangela - best of luck for today.

twobambinos · 29/03/2018 10:40

Goodluck today @dwangelaforever

Has anyone actually seen any nice maternity clothes? I can't find anything

Belles86 · 29/03/2018 10:52

@twobambinos I plan on hitting up H&M this weekend for some mat leggings/jeans. I’m still in jeans (just) but it ain’t pretty.

twobambinos · 29/03/2018 10:58

@belles86 I have about 8 pairs of trousers in my wardrobe from last time but there is only one pair I'd be seen dead in now. I do have one pair of regular jeans that I've been living in that still fit but not much choice. I feel a bit of a fraud buying stuff until the bump is obvious but I haven't even seen anything I'd be remotely tempted to buy.

ATP1000 · 29/03/2018 11:18

Good call on H&M @belles86, I’m waiting for my midwife appointment and shopping online!

ASOS is worth a try for maternity clothes. I’ve bought a few of their bits second hand off eBay.

Unicornchaser · 29/03/2018 13:09

Ive just started thinking about maternity stuff too, I've one pair of jeans that are still comfy so living in those but new bras are going to be a must in a couple weeks! Dreading the final increase as I'm a E/F cup as it is Shock my sister ended up going to a JJ cup but naturally a couple sizes bigger so hoping I won't be as big as that!

Heard from friends that H&M & eBay are the best for maternity jeans/leggings so planning on there and maybe Debenhams or next for nice stuff?

hotchocolate86 · 29/03/2018 15:56

Is anyone really itchy? I itch everywhere.

ladydolly · 29/03/2018 20:47

@hotchocolate86 itching can be a sign of preggo problem (I actually can't remember what, kidney function maybe?) But that's in later pregnancy. It's more likely to be skin stretching. Are you drinking enough water?

I have lots of old maternity so trying not to buy much but have got an excellent pair of skinny jeggings from asda of all places, a tenner, will definitely get another pair. Worth getting some oversized jumpers for the other end if you see them in the sale.

Lou1015 · 29/03/2018 21:11

Harmony results came back today as low risk. Feeling very relieved and it’s given me great peace of mind. I’m glad I had it done.

monkerina · 30/03/2018 07:42

hotchocolate itching can be a symptom for bad things later on, but so early is probably pruritus- maybe check with your midwife? It's mentioned in this alphamom post (love her) : alphamom.com/pregnancy/pregnancy-calendar/week-six/

RhiBee29 · 30/03/2018 07:54

Still no blood results and surgery closed until Tuesday. Going crazy!!!

Got my private scan today, quite nervous 😬

Glad your harmony results are ok lou

Good luck with the scan rhi.

I will look up pruritis. Maybe there is a cream or something that can soothe the itching. Since starting the steroids for my hyperemesis the itching has eased somewhat which is lovely but I suspect it might come back when I come off the steroids. I don’t think it is anything more serious but I will mention it to the midwives if it does persist.

Hope143 · 30/03/2018 10:14

@Lou1015 that's great news, I got mine back yesterday too. We got a low risk too, pleased we got it done too. It's eased a little of my crazy anxiety! X

RhiBee29 · 30/03/2018 18:07

Scan was really good, saw and heard heartbeat. Measuring 2 days behind but not worried. Just need the all clear on the bloods now!

BarryTheKestrel · 30/03/2018 18:59

Had my scan yesterday. Typically baby didn't want to be at all helpful so it took a lot of jiggling around to get all the measurements and a single decent picture.
They also managed to lose my notes between my scan and blood test so ended up waiting nearly an hour!
However I'm so happy that everything appears to be going well. Also put us 3 days ahead so now EDD is 9th Oct.

Have a private scan booked for 27th April. That way we can hopefully find out what we are having and then tell DD who I am dying to tell, but know that she'll start obsessing over boy/girl so would rather be able to give her all the information at once. Keeping this pregnancy a secret is a nightmare though, I'm definitely getting a bump now and I'm dreading family noticing over the Easter weekend.

Penny31 · 31/03/2018 15:22

At just over 11 weeks is it totally normal to be super tired still? I’ve just lain around all day today. Barely have enough energy to play with Dd or make a meal. A bit fed up of lacking in energy and don’t remember if it was like this when I was pregnant with Dd. How is everyone else at this stage?

justtowarm · 31/03/2018 15:27

Glad to hear about all the lovely scans :)

I'm 12 weeks and super tired still as well, I kept thinking I was anaemic but my blood results were normal, midwife just said it's normal.

Hayleyxmx · 31/03/2018 16:17

Me too! I’m 11 weeks 4 days now and I’m still laying in bed 🙈

Filzma · 31/03/2018 16:55

Definitely been itchy the past couple weeks. Smh thought it was some sort of bed bug as my diets still the same. Glad I know what it is now.

Still exhausted.

daisychain07 · 31/03/2018 17:39

I'm nearly 14 weeks and I am still very tired, I just want to lie around all day, which is much harder to do second time around when you have a lively 16 month old. Let's hope we regain some energy soon!!!

justtowarm · 31/03/2018 22:09

@daisychain07 so so hard with a toddler, I work 12 hour shifts in a busy stressful job and they are somehow easier than my days off with my 2 year old. Love him so much, but he is so active and I keep falling asleep 🙈

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 31/03/2018 22:35

10+4 and so tired still. Bit fed up really. Also still moody and queasy though not as bad as a few weeks ago.

Penny31 · 01/04/2018 08:26

I’ve looked into a harmony test but they seem to be around £400. Is that right?
