Thanks @caoraich, I'm in Glasgow too so imagine it will be pretty much the same as yours then. Did they arrange all the appointments there and then? Will be handy to get them in the diary

Sorry for your sad news @Troika Thanks

@troika I'm so sorry hope you are doing as OK as you can be

caoraich · 27/03/2018 20:45

@Unicornchaser I had booked through the central booking line thingy so already had my booking and 1st scan appointment which they then changed to the Princess Royal for me as that's where I'd prefer to give birth. The other appointments are with the consultant over next couple of months but I have 2 booked. Don't have a 20wk appointment yet.

@RhiBee29 how are you and DS getting on? x

RhiBee29 · 27/03/2018 21:29

@caoraich we're ok, thanks for checking up. Trying to keep my anxiety levels low and prevent myself from googling. Still waiting on blood results could take 10days! Hope things with you are more plain sailing x

Hope you're ok @Troika

Lou1015 · 27/03/2018 21:35

@Troika so sorry to hear your news

ATP1000 · 27/03/2018 22:24

I am so sorry to hear your news @troika, I hope you have some people close by to help you. Take good care of yourself.

Oh Troika I am so sorry to hear that. Thinking of you.

FutureMum · 28/03/2018 06:02

@troika, sending you hugs. Take care of yourself. Two years ago I had an early mc. Tomorrow my scan, I am 11 weeks and anxious. I am also an older mum.

justtowarm · 28/03/2018 13:26

Had my 12 weeks scan today, all was ok, confirmed I'm due 11/10/18 it was such a relief, best wishes to all with upcoming scans x

RhiBee29 · 28/03/2018 14:09

One set of bloods back confirming immunity to Rubella, still waiting for Slap Cheek results Confused

twobambinos · 28/03/2018 15:17

That's great @rhibee29 fingers crossed for the next set.

I found out this morning that I'm not immune to rubella so must try avoid contact with that however one can do that. Scan went well baby was very active consultant seemed very happy thankfully.

Congrats @justtowarm it's a relief isn't it.

We weren't able to find out the sex today but they said for sure at the next scan so the countdown is on. It will keep me away from the shops for now anyway.

Hope everyone else is well

justtowarm · 28/03/2018 17:29

@twobambinos yay to having a good scan. I want to find out the gender so badly but my partner says he wants a surprise.... I might have to surprise him by finding out and telling him 🙈

@RhiBee29 hopefully you will get good news on the next results soooon

RhiBee29 · 28/03/2018 17:37

@twobambinos Rubella is rare these days I'm sure you'll be fine.

@justtowarm thanks, really hoping for a result tomorrow as otherwise I have to wait until Tuesday, the waiting is killing me!!!

hotchocolate86 · 28/03/2018 17:46

Can I join please? I’m due 7th October. I had my 12 week scan on Monday and the baby was looking ok. I’ve been in and out of hospital with severe HG and a cocktail of medications which bothers me a bit. The doctors have just started me on a course of steroid treatment and tonight I have managed to eat a small meal for the first time in 7 weeks or so. I hope they are helping me and I might regain some of the half stone I’ve lost.

ATP1000 · 28/03/2018 18:37

Hi everyone, it’s nice hearing about everyone’s scan updates. I have my registration appointment tomorrow.
I’m 10 weeks and was starting to feel less nauseous over the weekend but it’s back in full force along with incredible tiredness. My eyes are stinging!

The main difference over the weekend was I was walking around a lot so maybe more exercise will do me good. (I’ll try to fit that in along with everything else🙈)

My tummy is feeling big this week, it’s definitely grown over the last week, I can’t pull it in now- I need new clothes for work! Can’t wait for two more weeks to tell my colleagues ( the boss already knows).

Welcome @hotchocolate86 fingers crossed the meds will help you keep some more food down,

I am lucky I have not been sick, but nauseous pretty much 75% of the time sometimes it's so bad I just have to lay on the floor until it passes (have avoided this at work somehow). I thought it was suppose to ease up by 12 weeks. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and it doesn't seem to be 😭

justtowarm · 28/03/2018 20:04

@ATP1000 I'm with you on the feeing that my tummy is massive and I've lost weight due to feeling so sick so pretty sure it must be baby :)

@atp I've found the clock change has thrown me for 10 and I'm not sleeping very well. That's corresponded with the sickness returning. I thought that I was over that too :(

@ milknosugar1 I got my scan date on Monday, I'm 2 weeks away as well. Before I was worrying about getting the date, now I'm worrying about the scan. I guess this is motherhood... I just have to try and keep reminding myself that the worst of the risk has passed now.

@caoraich I live in Scotland too. The midwife gave me the exemption form thingy but didn't tell me what to do with it (she was useless). I took it to my GP and they said they'd never seen it before and I don't need it for prescriptions because they're free - what you do with it? Did you have to post it somewhere?

caoraich · 28/03/2018 21:44

@elizastarbeth she kept hold of the form and said I'd get a card or something in the post - it's just for free dental care here I think. I have a dental checkup in a few weeks so I'll ask them!

elizastarbeth · 29/03/2018 07:25

@caoraich Cheers. I have the dentist in June, I usually need a scale and polish so it would cover that... Apparently she was too impatient to let me spent 2 minutes filling in the form! I'll hand it back at my 16 week appointment. That's on a Tuesday, and the midwife from my 8 weeks only works Thursday and Friday so I should hopefully get someone else. I'm rural, so I thought I'd be getting the same one all the way through! Apparently if I have a home birth, she would be my midwife. She also managed to keep hold of my handheld notes, so I'll need to ring her up today so I can take them to my scan.

Alyosha · 29/03/2018 08:06

I have my 12 week scan on the 10th of April and I'm so worried. I'm worrying about really stupid stuff too - a missed miscarriage of course, but also anencephaly, really high NT etc.

I was a worrier before I got pregnant so I think I need to take steps to prevent myself from being consumed!

My urine test also came back with the scary sounding e coli, although I've had no symptoms my midwife was very keen for me to take antibiotics. Anyone know anything about that?

@lou1015, how did you find the Harmony test?

DwangelaForever · 29/03/2018 08:27

I have my scan today at 1pm and I've been awake since 7 😴😴 my one year old isn't even up yet
