Thought I'd start up a new thread as the old one has run out of space.

@MamOfFrankie congratulations and welcome to team pink! 💗

BertieBotts · 24/03/2018 19:31

Aww Frankie, lovely!

Gem173 · 25/03/2018 17:16

Congratulations mamoffrankie! Hope you spoil her ❤️!
Had a weird weekend, oh sis baby was born last thurs so had my first ever newborn baby cuddles on Friday, and I was so scared but it made me so ready to have my little boy out ready for a cuddle! Yesterday I went car seat shopping, we didn’t buy one but tried a few and found one that will fit in our car... eventually! (Car has bucket seats so every car seat was tipped upwards giving baby a bad neck) however I’ve bought my baby’s first bedding and some clothes !! Also his hospital outfit xx

Aww, cute! SIL is buying all sorts of things and it's making me feel such mixed emotions and I'm being a bit of an ungrateful cow TBH Blush Luckily nowhere utterly anywhere near her and I would never! I am having a private wail to DH that I want to choose things for myself but I know I am being a bit ridiculous.

BertieBotts · 25/03/2018 19:04

Plus I do want the 20 week scan to go well so that is also anxious.

Emmasmum2013 · 25/03/2018 19:24

@Birdy, I really hope you get some good news at your next scan. I’ve got everything crossed.

Congrats to all those who have had scans and found out the gender! It’s so exciting!!

We are back from Disneyland. Wow, that was an endurance event!! I don’t think it was the magical fantasy that they make it out to be. It was a lot of queuing and walking and very very expensive (like £3.50 for a can of Coke expensive)
Glad to be back home and looking forwards to my scan on the 6th. Then I’ve got a few work events and then we find out DDs school on the 16th. I am bricking it.
It’s all going on!!

MamOfFrankie · 25/03/2018 20:05

I am dying to buy stuff for the baby, but I am waiting for the purchase to go through on my new house. Where we are now is only a small two bedroom terrace, so we really don't have room to store baby things!

peterpanwendy · 25/03/2018 20:16

@Gem173 I've done some shopping too! We saved our Christmas vouchers/money so have enjoyed buying some lovely new bits. Here's a couple. Love love love that little dungaree shorts set you got that's so cute x

That little romper suit is adorable!

peterpanwendy · 25/03/2018 21:02

@MamOfFrankie John Lewis, they have the loveliest things at the mo! They also had a big sale on, I got a 2.5tog sleeping bag for £13!

StrawberryLemonade · 25/03/2018 21:26

Ahh all the little clothes are so cute! Let me know if anyone sees any lovely gender neutral stuff anywhere. I have DD’s old things to reuse but want the baby to have some new bits of it’s own too Smile

I have a poorly toddler so been clung to from the outside and kicked from the inside it’s somewhar claustrophobic. Need to go to bed before she wakes again really.

peterpanwendy · 25/03/2018 21:54

I'm lying in bed and baby girl is going nuts! I've been feeling her for the past 2 or so weeks every now and then and they've been getting stronger. I can feel lots of bubble popping jabs and wriggling it's the most I've ever felt her at one time and it is soooo magical I feel really emotional!

@StrawberryLemonade I saw in John Lewis today they have a whole section of lovely, colourful gender neutral bits! X

Stephiewoo · 26/03/2018 03:36

Pregnancy insomnia sucks!!!!🙄

BertieBotts · 26/03/2018 06:05

Boots have got lovely neutrals, I was admiring them. Marks and Spencer too!

I'll post the bits I got from gap tomorrow.

BertieBotts · 26/03/2018 06:07

DH was really trying to feel the baby last night and got best results by putting his ear on my belly, lol! Then we listened with the Doppler and picked up some different sounds.

Gem173 · 26/03/2018 06:53

I still haven’t got any movements yet :( but guess I’m too early. 17+5 today

Gem173 · 26/03/2018 06:54

@peterpanwendy thanks the sailor dungereees are so cute! Can’t wait to see him in them! And your pink little romper is so pretty! She’s gunna look adorable!

Emmasmum2013 · 26/03/2018 09:26

M&S and Boots have some lovely baby clothes and all really good quality. Next also have some gorgeous things. There'll be sales on soon as well so I'm going to have a look then!

I've still not bought anything for the baby haha. I think I'm waiting for the 20 weeks scan. We did pick the cot and moses basket though.. just waiting for payday to buy!

BertieBotts · 26/03/2018 10:02

Mine defo seem to have increased at 18 weeks but it's my second so I might be more attuned to it.

BertieBotts · 26/03/2018 11:11

Here's what I've got so far! My camera seems to have overcorrected for the white so I've done the navy leggings again.

Aw Cute! @bertie bots!

DaisyBank82 · 26/03/2018 17:14

Did you have another scan today Birdy1978? I’ve been thinking of you.

CumbrianExile · 26/03/2018 19:35

Thinking of you Birdy, hope all went well with the scan today.

Thanks for all the tips on neutral clothes. I will take a look. It's a shame all the cheaper shops don't seem to do neutral very well!

StrawberryLemonade · 26/03/2018 20:32

Birdy I hope your scan was ok today. Been thinking of you Flowers

peterpanwendy · 26/03/2018 22:13

Now that I've started buying I'm feeling increasingly overwhelmed at the amount of things I need! I have screenshotted all the lists people left so thank you! Just wondering if anyone has a strategic order to buy things in?

Or what have you bought so far?

We have the cot, pram and Moses basket but that's it for big things!

In other news I have felt awful today, OH is convinced baby will be born on a Monday because I am always so sick on a Monday. Came in from work around 5 and slept till 8! Glad it's only a couple of times a week now but pregnancy sickness is so draining!
