Good photo, SpriteGirl. The scan is wonderful, isn't it! And how amazing to see the little person growing inside you. I'm glad all went well. Congratulations to all having scans and finding out the sex. I haven't replied to you all individually but I'm reading and keeping up with how the babies are doing.

Great picture Sprite Girl. I'm booked in for a second anomaly scan next week since this baby was in such an awkward position.

Awake with 20 week scan anxiety! So nervous.

Had my 20 week scan today (at 19+1) and baby had tucked the cord between their legs!!! So, still none the wiser on sex lol.

Found out today that SHE's a GIRL!💗 so happy it's unreal

@MamOfFrankie lovely pictures! So annoying baby was being stubborn, he/she wants to keep his identity a surprise a little longer 🙈 maybe a private scan in a few weeks? X

We're Team Boy!

I’ve got my 20 week scan tomorrow (at 21+2) and although I didn’t find out with my first I really want to know what’s in there this time. My hunch is one of each as the heart beats have been so different each time I’ve heard them. Would that make me team purple??

Are you having twins Birdy or do you mean one DC of each? :) I was wondering the other day if anyone on this group is having twins.

This is going to sound soo weird but I've been wondering if this is a pregnancy thing - I'm suddenly really prone to static, anyone else? My hair is literally uncontrollable and flying everywhere and every time I touch something metal I get a static shock It might be new pregnancy clothes - but I can't imagine that maternity clothes are any more polyester-filled than my normal ones?? Or is it something to do with the snow?

@Gem173 thank you! I am clearly sooo bad at the nub/skull theory! I was also thinking boy so it was a nice surprise to find out she's a girl! I'm so glad I had the private scan aren't you? X

My scan went well all looked ok with baby except it was in a rubbish position for pictures, and breech! My placenta is quite low though so I have to go back for a scan of that at 32 weeks.

Glad it went okay @Strawberrylemonade but the placenta position sucks! Hope it moves to a better place! Mines anterior so apparently I won’t feel the baby till much later unless he wants to take up football and kick hard!

@PeterPanwendy yes I’m glad I had a private scan was nice as I brought 5 others not including oh and they let all 7 of us in! I too thought or maybe wanted a girl but he’s a he! I feel quite guilty now of wanting one sex over another. I just hope I have that bond with the baby when he is born. I thought it was a girl all along I kinda bonded with my imaginative baby girl lol
Getting the car seat this weekend I think so would be nice to look at boy clothes and see what to dress him like. So far oh Mum is giving me hoodies and Nike trainers, so gunna end up a mini version of his dad (when I met him, I have since changed his clothes to jeans and nice shirts) 😂

Also finally requested to join fb group chat, as haven’t felt ready till now!

Mine is anterior too, but I have felt small movements since 17 weeks (mainly at the bottom of my bump when I sit down). This is my 3nd pregnancy though, so I think it is easier to determine movement.

I have booked a gender scan for Saturday :)

Ah I had a weird feeling the other day but haven’t really sat still long enough to listen to my body. So haven’t felt it again. Prob won’t notice anything till I have proper movements and not flutters x

I have an anterior placenta too. I've been feeling movement for a wee while now. I'm just over 21 weeks and the movements are pretty strong, some of them are very low down which feels bizarre.

@Gem173 am 20 weeks and haven't felt a thing. Looking on the anomaly can report my placenta is anterior too so maybe that's why?!
