I’m 15w today and had a bit more spotting which is stressful. Hope everything is ok.

Congratulations to those having 12 week scans. It really good to reach that milestone. Fingers crossed that the sickness goes away soon for everyone still suffering.

The only (really small) downside to getting past morning sickness is that I feel the obligation to eat a healthy, balanced diet. I had got very used to snacking on whatever sugary carbs I could get my paws on. It's a hard habit to break!

@Peterpanwendy it feels so real now :) all of my family know! Such a relief, my mum was shocked but wasn’t mad so took it better than expected. Next hurdle is to tell work xx

@Gem173 I'm so happy for you, and that's great about your mum! I was sooo nervous to tell my boyfriends parents but they were the same, shocked but happy! Good luck telling work I am sure they will be fine too :)

So excited for my scan tomorrow now. Just wanna see the little wriggler again, praying all is ok. Once that's all done I will join the fb group too :)

Hi everyone.

I just squeeze in to August at edd of 30th August. I have my scan tomorrow but super anxious about it as have had a few drops of brown discharge the past few days which has convinced me I will be told I have had a MMC. How do you stop these thoughts so I stop driving my DH insane and hopefully enjoy the scan

I'm finally back to 12+4 today after having been put back a whole week! Sooooo looking forward to moving on tomorrow 😂

@popcorndiva I've no idea how to stope the thoughts but I get them too. I was soon tense at my first scan the sonographer had to ask me to calm down a bit

I'm 16 weeks today and have an appointment tomorrow to meet my consultant. Will also see my midwife afterwards. I'm going to ask for blood tests, I think I have anemia again. I've been unbelievably tired for the past couple of weeks and I've started to get breathless now.

Thank you for all the luck, I am sick with nerves as per usual but I just can't wait to see if it's ok in there!

@TheSleeperandTheSpindle not till 3! So I'm in the same boat, my best friend and her 3 month old are picking me up for lunch as I'm on holiday from work so that should take my mind off it. Also not looking forward to having my bloods done :(

@popcorndiva welcome, I am due 28/08 so close to you! I too am filled with these horrible thoughts and have been since pretty much day 1. I can really sympathise with you as it's torture isn't it :( try to stay calm but also don't not talk about it, I found just being really honest with DP helped. Anxiety isn't something you can control and just think everything is fine until told otherwise which is unlikely anyway. Good luck tomorrow x

Thanks everyone. It's also my last day at work this week. My husband is also off as we have my stepson for half term and we'll be telling him about the baby - excited and nervous about his reaction!

@CabbagePatch91 looks like you are in Scotland. I am quite far in Hertfordshire just outside of London.

Hi everyone,
Congrats to those who've had good news and lovely scans! I got my NIPT results yesterday and everything is fine! Baby is healthy so we're over the moon. Also found out that it's a boy! I'm mega chuffed! But would have been equally thrilled with a girl. It's all starting to feel very real now. 12 week scan tomorrow (I'll be 12+5) so hopefully that will go well too

My DH kept saying last night I needed to stop worrying as it wouldn't help. But I think it's because it is out of my control and there is nothing I can do. I put the analogy to the DH that it was like going into an exam and not being able to revise.

I am distracting myself by watching the Olympics

@Spritegirl that's just brilliant news, hope you're able to relax and enjoy pregnancy a bit more now.

We're still waiting for the first round of blood test results, went in for a detailed scan and echocardiagram on Friday, and booked for another at 20 weeks regardless of blood results, and we have the option of the more invasive testing if we want it at any point.

Hey all. Havent read back properly yet so hope all are ok. Just been to gp on advice of mw as been bleeding for nearly 4 wks now. They suggestrd getting swabbed for infections. But she had a look inside and said she can see the blood is coming out through the cervical canal so likely to be coming from uterus (was hoping id just got a sensitive cervix but seems not). So now im worrying as no areas of bleed were seen on prev scans so wheres it coming from?!?!

Also got nhs screening results today.....less than 100000 for edwards and pataus and 1 in 4525 for DS. Seems so much higher than last preg which was 1 in 87500 but i guess i am 3 yrs older and now over 40🤔.

Scan for me me tomorrow will be 13 weeks exactly. Really want everything to be ok, a bit of happiness and calmness for me and my amazing lot would be lovely right now. Had a shocker of a week yet again, more info on the fb page.

So glad all the scans are going well but a big bog off to sickness and bleeding issues. I'm thinking of all of you, just got loads of stress.

Here he/she is! What an emotional experience today was. As soon as the scan started our little baby was jumping and dancing around the screen throwing his/her hands around and kicking her legs. It was amazing! Unfortunately baby wasn't cooperating so I had to go for the standard walk and sugar but still no luck so going back again tomorrow to try and get the nuchal measurements :) all looks perfect though and baby is clearly really healthy. I am so happy!

Scan day today for me. Turns out I am 14 +1 instead of 13+3 like I thought. Due date is now 14th August :). Baby was awkward and kept their back to us for pretty much the whole time lol.

It's great to see more lovely scan pictures.
