I hope this works! Here is a new thread as the old one was getting v long.
I hope everyone is doing ok. If I'm anything to go by you will be wandering around queasy and exhausted - isn't this fun?!

PeckaRolloverAgain · 29/04/2007 12:14

hiya everyone

exhaustd and queasy here too

cant wait for scan tomorrow

becklespeckle · 29/04/2007 12:18

Morning all, Hi Caz! I am certainly exhausted but still no queasy for me yet, still, I don't usually get it this early! How is everyone else? Hope you having a lovely weekend.
Had a really nice evening out with friends last night - told the staff in the restaurant I was pg and they were great, I asked for vodka and lemonade - they brought me just lemonade! Superb! After we left we went on to a club (god I felt old in there) where I drank water using the excuse I'd had too much vodka earlier! Bit crap when I got home tho cos I discovered that not only had my thrush came back with a vengance (pessary didn't work - don't think I put it high enough ) but I had been bleeding too - fantastic. Not sure what to do now, hoping and hoping it is alright as I have bled in all my pgs, sucessful or not but not got a great feeling about it. Also (sorry if this is really TMI) I have been getting loads and loads of CM, its sort of creamy in colour but a bit watery - anybody else get that? Is not as thick as thrush stuff usually is . Sorry, am just a bit worried.

cazzybabs · 29/04/2007 12:31

(*TMI ALERT) - yes lots of discharge here too Becklespeckle!

Today is the 1st Sunday in a long time I have been up and about, but yesertday I mostly spent the day in bed feeling very sick.

Pecka I shall he thinking of you tomorrow - I am sure it will be fine.

MamaMaiasaura · 29/04/2007 13:16

Hi ladies recognise some of you from ttc thread in March and April. I dont know whether to join or if it is too soon.. I got BFP this morning and according to my dates due 25 Dec completely over the moon.

Have finised a course of provera on 21 April to induce bleed to start 2nd course of clomid as all BFN's.. was in fact pg. Hopefully baby will be ok. Will speak to consultant tomorrow.

Havent told anyone but Mr Awen and work (cos I work in psychiatric intensive care ward and have to be careful about what i do due to risks - tempted not to go back as only 2 weeks left).

Have had crampy feeling on and off for the past week - think i had similar with ds. When are u all due?

cazzybabs · 29/04/2007 13:21

Hi Awen - I do remember you. Congraulations. A Christmas baby - how lovely!

I am due 3rd December - but with both dds have been 11 days late so prob. due 14th).

I am feeling really sick but not atcually been sick and am off most foods. Marmite and salt and vingar crisps are usually staples.

becklespeckle · 29/04/2007 13:29

Hey Awen! I remember you too, how fantastic you fell pg by yourself! I felt very satisfied when I did as was fully expecting to need clomid. Fingers crossed that everything will be fine for you. And from my LMP mine will be due on 24th December (all being well - bleeding seems to have stopped - touch wood).

Nbg · 29/04/2007 14:09

Awwwww congratulations Awen
Is this the first christmas day baby?
How lovely for you. Congratulations.

BS, Lots of CM is a good sign. Could the bleeding have been due to the pessary if it wasnt it properly?
Fwiw i have been having lots too
Isnt pregnancy glamourous

Cazzy, Do you know I have been craving salty things too. Isnt it weird. I am ashamed to say that I have made my way through a 24 walkers multipack in a week
Not a fan of marmite though lol.

Pecka, will be thinking of you tomorrow. xxx

cazzybabs · 29/04/2007 14:13

The really wierd thing is I am off chocolate.

Nbg · 29/04/2007 14:36

Ahh see when I think about chocolate I'm not that bothered but atm I am sat here eating my way through a pack of chocs that dh brought me back from Austria

cazzybabs · 29/04/2007 14:51

Yes well I do manange to eat it..... but I don't crave it like I do normally when not pergnqant...

becklespeckle · 29/04/2007 15:54

Hi Nbg - I have spoken to the midwife now, she does not think the bleeding due to the pessary (t'was her who told me to use the thing) but she does think it could be my cervix has been irritated by the thrush (which would make sense as I used the pessary Weds but the thrush came back yesterday and the blood was fresh). She also said it could be baby burrowing down into my womb which could cause a bit of placenta to break free. Will just have to wait and see now! Have got to try and see docs for swab tomorrow and see what they suggest to clear it up and chase up consultant for early scan date. Ah the joys!
I am not really off of anything yet but I am liking savoury stuff a lot more than usual I have to say! Can still eat chocolate but not much before it starts being too sickly IYKWIM?! (got loads of lovely Green&Blacks and Thorntons for birthday - gutted!)

claraq · 29/04/2007 15:55

Hi there

Am I too late to join in? My name is Clara and I am about 8+3, with a due date of 6 dec. This is my 2nd pregnancy, I have a 19 month old daughter.
So far this has been a very different pregnancy from the last. I had some bleeding at 6 weeks and eventually had a scan. Everything was fine, we saw the heartbeat and were told that everything was in the right place etc. Since then, had a little more (brown eg older) blood but nothing more.
Until today I have had quite bad nausea and also been very very tired.
Today I woke up and have felt almost normal. Still a bit tired and don't feel 100% but definitely not the sickness I had been feeling.
I am hoping I am just being paranoid and I am feeling less sick because I had quite a lot of rest yesterday and it is tiredness that has been making me feel so bad. But I am a little worried that 8 weeks is too early for the pregnancy symptoms to diminish.
Having said that I know that by this time during the last pregnancy I felt pretty much normal. But the symptoms had not been so severe to start with!
Anyway sorry about all of that just wanted to see if anyone had had any similar experiences??
Clara

MamaMaiasaura · 29/04/2007 15:57

I am not craving anything either. Am off hot dinners tho. Threw half my curry away the other day and only wanting salads and fruit. Losing weight too 10st now. Was 11st about 2.5 months ago

Just told my sister. Feel silly telling people as early days but so darn excited. Did u ladies get mild occasional cramping?

cazzybabs · 29/04/2007 16:05

Huh Awen - your weight is clearly adding to mine!!!! I used to be just under 10 stone and now am 10 stone 4!!!!!!! ALREADY no wonder summer clothes don't fit!

Tis all those crisps and lacki of excersie! Dh keeps telling me to do some but I am so damm tired....

MamaMaiasaura · 29/04/2007 16:18

am sure the wieght will comeback on me soon enough.

Nbg · 29/04/2007 16:24

BS, thats quite reassuring in a way. Hope you get it sorted soon.
Have never had thrush but I've heard its horribly uncomfortable.

Welcome Clara. Another early dec baby
FWIW, my sickness isnt as bad as what it was 2 weeks ago. These pg symptoms do weird things lol.

Awen, had a bit of cramping but I've just ignored it tbh. It usually goes off after I have a sit down.

I've really fancied a chicken carbonara so I'm off to cook one now for me and dd

thisisnotmyrealMNname · 29/04/2007 17:35

I'm sort of on this thread/sort of on Jan! Depending if they adjust for my slightly longer cycle when I get round to seeing a doc, I'm due either 31 Dec or 3 Jan!

Awen - I am having sort of crampy feelings - more bloaty (sound like the flipping Actimel advert)? A bit like when AF due, but not bad or anything - just conscious of it. TMI alert - a little v light brown discharge too.

Can't remember if I had this with DD2 - I know I didn't with DD1 cos I think I'd have remembered being paranoid and worried! Think I might have done with DD2 as I remember thinking it felt as if I was due on, and not really believing I was pregnant. Desperate to tell someone in RL, but want to try to hold off for a couple of weeks - I have a hospital appt for some laparoscopy results and was going to ask while there if they could scan me to reassure me that there is something there! (I'll be just over 6 weeks, I think they can scan then - anyone know?)

Nbg · 29/04/2007 17:36

who are you?

They can scan but you might not see anything so you'd probably be called back a few days or a week later.

JARM · 29/04/2007 17:38

NBG - are we 9+1 today? I cant remember and im getting myself confuddled!

I want the pg to go away now, Im tearful, tired and feeling sick again.

Tell me it wont last - PLEASE

Nbg · 29/04/2007 17:40

Yes 9+1 hun.

It wont last it wont last it wont last

thisisnotmyrealMNname · 29/04/2007 18:15

Thanks Nbq - at least I might get myself "in the system" as such - I can imagine if I just went to the GP he'd tell me to shove off until 12 weeks! Was in 2 minds whether or not to keep the appt as it was fertility tests that we had been for (I swear the dye acted like DynoRod!), but thought that as I'd be seeing a doctor with an ultrasound scanner I'd go (would be polite to get the results anyway, just in case they found anything up while they were there)

peanutbutter · 29/04/2007 18:52

hello all, how's everyone doing? I'm feeling of those with scan dates and who've had their booking in appts - mine's yonks away yet.

I'm feeling sooooooo sick. Bleugh. This morning was the sickest I've felt, and beat any sickness I had with ds. I could barely get off the sofa and cooking his lunch was agony! I'm happy to be feeling sick though .

I'm also having a lot of creamy discharge but I do remember having that when pregnant with ds. My hair's going coarse again like brown straw and it's no doubt only a matter of time before i break out in big zits on my back .

Loucee · 29/04/2007 20:22

Hi everyone

Awen - I remember you from the April TTC thread, congratulations on your pregnancy

Cazzybabs - I'm also off chocolate and sweet things in general (most unlike me) and still not gone off alcohol (I'm not consuming it but last time the thought of it made me feel ill).

We went to the Glasgow Baby show today, DD (14.5 mths) loved all the shows and we bought a few bits and bobs (nothing for this bubba but got some good ideas and saw some things we will get). Made me very clucky seeing so many newborns and scared me seeing so many huge pregnant women (was I really that big with DD?!!).

BS - hope the spotting is harmless and that it's stopped now.

Good luck for tomorrow Pecka, will check on regularly to see your update.

Hope everyone is well,

Lucy

insywinsyspider · 29/04/2007 21:02
