Woohoo I found you all. Got my BFP this morning after 11cycles. EDD is 6/10/17. I’m so glad I’m not the only one that anxious! Never been pregnant before do I just ring GP on monday and tell them? I have absolutely no symptoms, had more the months I was getting BFNs haha xx

HoneyCake86 · 27/01/2018 12:37

Yes ring up your GP and ask what to do next, theyll direct you to what to do to book in for antenatal care x

I have a new symptoms - increased sweating Blush It's awful, I'm covering myself in talc to try and keep it at bay but it's still been a two shower day. I could even smell myself earlier, grim. Definitely didn't have this in my first pregnancy! How's everyone feeling?

Birdie963 · 27/01/2018 20:20

Hi all!!! Can I join the bus please? Last time I joined the mumsnet bus was when I was due May 2015. Glad to be back here. Got BFP on Wednesday (clearblue says 1-2 weeks) AF was due today but nothing so far so fingers crossed!!!!

Hello ladies! Can I join this thread please? I found out on Thursday that I'm pregnant, even though I had a BFN 2 days prior to that! First Response showed positive and ClearBlue Digital said 1-2 weeks. I think I'm 4w 3d according to various apps, however I'm high risk (type 1 diabetes) and due dates usually are 37/38 weeks, so most likely due in September sometime. I'm 26 and this is my first baby (I mc early in June last year). I have everything crossed!

Anyway, yay! Is anyone else desperate to keep peeing on sticks to make sure the hormone is still there? What a weird limbo time of waiting...!

daisychain07 · 27/01/2018 21:49

Hi can I join? Had BFP on Tuesday, calculated due date to be 3/10/18. Already have a DS who is 14 months. All of the anxiety has kicked back in as had a surgically managed MMC before DS. I hate this long wait to 12 weeks, think I will book in a reassurance scan for 7 weeks to break it up! I found Mumsnet really valuable last time, it's just nice to chat to people going through similar symptoms! Lovely to meet you all!

afloat · 27/01/2018 22:23

Hi everyone new! I completely get the compulsion to keep peeing on sticks.. anything that will give more knowledge (if not control unfortunately). I have gotten fond of this website (I love numbers): datayze.com/miscarriage-reassurer.php

I’m so bloated and tired (hence cranky) and am so sensitive to smells.

twobambinos · 27/01/2018 22:52

Junperoo I'm so sorry. Have been there it's so unfair. Be kind to yourself.

HoneyCake86 · 27/01/2018 23:27

Welcome newbies! Congratulations! Flowers

Afloat thats a great link thanks!
Kah yes im still doing it 🙈 im a poas addict big time!
Daisy yes im doing that too, have mine booked for 13 days time. Literally counting the days!

I also had the sweating, it was one of my first symptoms, id wake up early morning just drenched. It seems to have calmed down abit these last few days though, touch wood 🤞🏼

Kah09 · 27/01/2018 23:49

I don't really have any other symptoms to be honest - I swore I was crazy at 3dpo feeling some scratchy pains but apart from general tiredness and a few low sugar readings, nothing. It makes me nervous and wanting to poas everyday! I've booked a 6-7 week early scan for mid February (positive thinking) and hopefully drinking a gallon of water, taking folic acid and vitamin D and Omega 3 will make it stick. When I poas, should I be looking for really strong lines everyday for the next 2 weeks? And with each week for the clear blue to go up in weeks due to hormones?

Asaargh I'm keeping everything crossed for us all!

chewbacca83 · 28/01/2018 08:41

Hi everyone can I jump on the bus too!
AF was 29/12
First baby
EDD 3/10
I'm so excited but very anxious too. My good friend just had an ectopic at same stage as me. I had a bit of Brown spotting 2 days ago but nothing else. My boobs feel like tender bricks!

Jessabean · 28/01/2018 09:12

Hi everyone!
Ok if I join too?!

Age: 29
Baby #1
Pregnancy #2 (miscarriage 27th Dec 2017- appears I've fallen pregnant next cycle without a period so think I ovulated at my normal point in cycle- 2 weeks after mc)
Currently: 4+2 weeks...ish
EDD: 6th Oct...ish
Really hoping things work out ok this time! 🤞Just trying to take things easy and not worry too much about everything- easier said than done though the 7-8 week point will be particularly hard I think as that's when I m/c'd last time.
Symptoms at the mo-on & off nausea, peeing all the time, tiredness & going from not wanting to eat at all to suddenly ravenous on & off throughout the day!

SomebodysNotInBedYet · 28/01/2018 09:23

@Kah09 I would be very wary of scrutinising lines after AF is due. As for the weeks indicator they say they are 99% accurate on the box but a quick Google shows that lots of people have had problems with it being inaccurate. If you want to poas then just enjoy the fact that a line comes up Smile definitely following my own advice

riddles26 · 28/01/2018 12:51

@Jessabean I could have written your post 2 years ago. I had the same experience before having my daughter (who is now a happy 15 month old). A scan at 8/9 weeks helped massively then.

I don't have any symptoms yet so feel like it can't be happening this time round. Am trying my absolute best not to test again as the rational part of me knows it's not going to change in 48 hours - other part of me is tempted to go get a clear blue digital (have only tested with a cheapie so far!)

monkerina · 28/01/2018 13:51

Hello everyone, can I squeeze on please? Got a faint bfp today at 11dpo but have had previous losses so trying not to get too excited. I have DS too who's nearly 2, still friends with my Feb2016 Mumsnet group. First symptoms are tingly boobs, night sweats and DS more interested in milk again (only feeds once a day before bed, but he's definitely been more interested the last couple of days!)... and DIDN'T WANT COFFEE today Shock

EDD - 9/10/2018

monkerina · 28/01/2018 13:54

afloat that site may become my new hoomepage! I got a bit obsessed with this site before: pregnancy odds

afloat · 28/01/2018 14:37

Like monkerina I am close with my first MN group, December 2015. We are about 60 on a very active and secret Facebook group and are very close and like a general life support group. Anyone else?

Katievb · 28/01/2018 15:24

Decided to do a digital... starting to sink in now. Thank you for posting the link @monkerina, I’m very anxious about it not sticking but that has made me feel better xx

Hi ladies, mind if I join too please?

Recognise a few people from the conception boards, lovely to see.

Age: 34
Baby #1
EDD 7th Oct

I wasn’t sure whether to join this group and ‘tempt fate’ as it were but so nice to be able share this exciting but also worrying time with others going through the same thing 😊

Birdie963 · 28/01/2018 16:21

HellaBella, I know what you mean! I feel like I am tempting fate talking about my 'due date' etc. But it's kinda nice to be surrounded by ladies all in the same boat (or bus) 😁 x

Coffee3 · 28/01/2018 16:40

Hi all,
I’m hopping on the bus (tentatively!)
Had a couple of mc last year and stopped trying for a couple of months whilst I got back to some kind of normal- got my bfp last week and I’m delighted and terrified.

I’m 31, baby #1, EDD 1/10

I’ve had my hcg levels tested 48hours apart at the gp so will get those results tomorrow; I’m hoping they will bring some reassurance.
Trying not to keep testing as I feel awful and I’m hoping that’s (somehow!) a good sign. I did test Thursday with a frer and got a darker line though 🤞🏻
@hellabella0 I know what you mean about tempting fate, but it is hard not talking to anyone in real life!
@monkerina I really like that pregnancy odds site! Thanks for the link

Oakcrescent4 · 28/01/2018 18:17

Eek can’t really believe I’m on here! It was our first month trying for #2!
Age: 25
Baby #2
Edd 7th October

Hoping things work out- feeling so lucky that I had no problems getting pregnant. No symptoms apart from sore boobs, tiredness and ravenous!Blush

JLamb89 · 28/01/2018 18:43

Hi girls !

I’m terrified to joinjust incase anything goes wrong !
Super happy to see everyone else is still obsessed with POAs ! It’s so hard just having a line to make it real to yourself !
I got my BFP on Tuesday at 9dpo ! I have a beautiful dark frer line now but still panicking that I’m imaging it haha ! Oh dear !

This will be my first.
Due 9/10/18 I think :) (my best friend gets married 31/10/18 and I’m terrified to tell her as I’m her MOH)

My boobs are absolutely killing today, my back hurts, I have a continuous achy feeling in my uterus, bloating and I’m shattered ! It’s so early to have all these symptoms so early 😩😩 !

When is everyone telling people ? My Hubby thinks it’s far too early but I just don’t know when to do it !

Coffee3 · 28/01/2018 19:05

Congratulations @JLamb89 ! I’m very much keeping schtum as long as I can before I tell anyone - I don’t like all the fuss that follows! I also have quite a few more symptoms than I’d expect, but have decided to try to take them as reassuring. (Admittedly this isn’t always easy !)

Birdie963 · 28/01/2018 19:08

Omg @JLamb89 that is an awesome line! Congrats!!!

I have been feeling everything you have said. I'm so shattered it's crazy! I was feeling a little bit nauseous a few days ago but it's now calmed down a bit.
I have told a few close friends and my mum. I have miscarried before and wanted them to know in case anything happens!
