Also ladies see my other posts about clearblue. I've spent a fortune waiting for it to move on from 1-2 and so much anxiety. It moved on Wednesday morning and I have one left but I'm not testing for at least another week because if I don't get 3+ I'll be depressed. Google says they can be inaccurate Grin

SleepyBadger · 25/01/2018 18:55

@HoneyCake86 oh Lordy yes a double buggy! Although I babywear too so having one in buggy and the other in sling may work...at least for short trips out but I'm getting ahead of myself....

I'm trying not to test again now I've got my BFP but it's so tempting isn't it?! Ive got 3 unused fRER in bathroom cupboard. Just don't want to make myself anxious about line progression etc been there, done that! 😬🙈

junperoo · 25/01/2018 19:24

It's SO tempting not to keep testing, even though that won't change the outcome! 🙈😂

SleepyBadger · 25/01/2018 20:01

@junperoo haha what are we all like 🙈. To be honest though not even multiple tests would do much to reassure me completely or even an early scan (even though I will still probably do both!) . I had a late miscarriage at 16 weeks between DD and DS 😢 which totally devestated and floored us. Had DS since then and got through that pregnancy without having a total breakdown so must stay positive! 🤞👍

ladydolly · 25/01/2018 20:07

I just used a frer. I have one left, I really have to stop now!
I feel very sick tonight, its kind reassuring because I've felt sick very early with my other pregnancies.
I had the flu jab last autumn, I would say if you can get one still then do.

My last pregnancy I had my booking in at 5 weeks, I'll probably give then a call tomorrow and book something in so I can confirm my early scan.

junperoo · 25/01/2018 20:12

Oh @SleepyBadger that must have been devastating, I'm so sorry Thanks Keeping everything crossed for everyone!

SleepyBadger · 25/01/2018 20:16

Thanks @junperoo! Yes 🤞 for everyone on this thread. Come on sticky beans! 👍 X

babydreamer1 · 25/01/2018 21:46

Hi girls!

I've just got my bfp at 10dpo, really strong line. It's my first pregnancy so I'm just sitting here in total shock and happiness!

Af was 1st Jan and due date calc says 8th October.

What do I do now? Do I tell the doctor straight away or wait a few weeks?

HeatherTess · 25/01/2018 21:52

New here too. Just marking the thread. Had a MC last time so trying to just stay relaxed and not worry about anything!

junperoo · 26/01/2018 07:34

Hi girls, unfortunately AF is here in force so must have been a chemical. Not my month it seems. Good luck everyone!

SomebodysNotInBedYet · 26/01/2018 08:17

Ah sorry @junperoo Flowers fingers crossed for you that next month is your month. Look after yourself Brew Cake

HoneyCake86 · 26/01/2018 08:26

Coffeelover56 · 26/01/2018 09:16

Sorry to here that junperoo Flowers

Coffeelover56 · 26/01/2018 09:22

Hi and congratulations to the newbies!

Baby - congratulations! You will need to contact your doctors and get booked in with the midwife. They usually do the booking in appointment at around 8 weeks but the sooner you contact them the better in case they are running low on appointments.

I've had the last 2 days off work, I'm so exhausted. I was the same last time round. Hopefully this stage won't last long and I'll find some energy soon!

babydreamer1 · 26/01/2018 09:40

Thanks Coffee, I will do. Are the dates for your appointments and scans counted from last af?

babydreamer1 · 26/01/2018 09:41

Sorry to hear that junperoo x

riddles26 · 26/01/2018 10:28

Hello ladies, can I join too?

EDD 4/10/18
Baby 2
Age 31

I've only had 2 periods since stopping breastfeeding my first and cycle length has been much longer than pre-baby do my due date is a guess (also wasn't tracking ovulation as we hadn't started actively trying yet).

Took a long time (2+ years) plus losses before we had our first so am in complete shock still. No symptoms but a strong line so really hoping it sticks.

Congratulations to everyone Thanks

riddles26 · 26/01/2018 10:28

Just saw your update junperoo - I'm so sorry to read it

ladydolly · 26/01/2018 13:06

Sorry to hear that junperoo lots of tea and cake this weekend take care of yourself. xx

ladydolly · 26/01/2018 13:10

I just called to book my booking in apt and they had either next tuesday or end of feb! Lucky I called, I took next tuesday because I want to have a reassurance scan before the end of feb. Feels so early though...

I had my first 'proper' bout of nausea last night and then again while doing the weekly shop, I always get it in the supermarket, all that food and the lights... urgh.

Welcome new guys!!!

SleepyBadger · 26/01/2018 14:09

Hello to all the new ladies joining the thread!

@ladydolly Bess you...I here you re. the nausea. I was on the way back from the park with the DCs this morning and suddenly it hit me and I was retching the whole way home (must have looked a right state 🤣🙈). I suffered from HG with DD and DS so I think I need to go and see the GP before it hits full force and try and get some meds sorted!

Just a little something lighthearted to make you all giggle...I've burst into tears twice today once because my daughter accidentally smashed the little Peter rabbit bowl I've had since I was about 2 and my mum passed on for her 😭...then again randomly just now at an episode of Mr Tumble 🤣🙈 . Gotta love those hormones! Anyone else feeling properly emotional ATM?

afloat · 26/01/2018 20:47

Hi everyone new. Aah I love the little early pregnancy symptoms - they’re such a novelty and no doubt will become a huge pain soon! My sense of smell has gotten really sensitive and I fell asleep on the couch at 10pm last night. I had a GP appointment yesterday that was lovey - I’m living in France (had my first baby in UK) and the appointments are so long and unhurried here, a nice change (but you pay). Have a scan booked for Feb 13th. I’m going to try to keep up running for as log as possible too.. I ran today and was so tired.

Hope everyone is feeling well!

ToesAndFingersCrossed · 26/01/2018 21:40

My only symptom is that everything is tasting like onions. I hope this doesn’t last the whole nine months 😩

LimpLettice · 27/01/2018 10:06

I am sorry Junperoo. Look after yourself. I felt very upset after a chemical and early m/c last year but decided I had to grieve them even if it felt early. Look after yourself.

I am 14/15dpo today, (didn't check this month) clearblue went to 2-3 after a 4 hour hold. I don't want to get over confident but am full of symptoms. Shattered by 3pm, bloated as hell, boulder boobs and nausea. I forget the fuzzy headed tiredness, oh it's a joy. Thinking I'll self refer at 5 weeks, don't want to jump the gun just yet!
