Got my bfp 2 hours ago
Still can't sleep lol

Got it a week early af was due 30th

Anyone else??

Alsooooo been feeling very sick and now have lots of heart burn

It's my second Christmas in a row being pregnant, really missing the wine! Comforting myself that I'll make up for it next year.

@SmashyCup my second Christmas in a row too. I am craving prosecco!

Next year Gizzy! Christmas with an excited baby around more than makes up for it though, today has been so much fun!

@DuchessofStBridget you're not wrong on the timing! Wouldn't be so bad not drinking if I didn't have to try and conceal the fact I'm not drinking too haha!!

Just want to take a minute to wish all my fellow expectant mummies a lovely Christmas! Hope you all have a lovely day and your nausea keeps at bay as much as possible (I know this is what I'm hoping - I'm cooking for 8 people!).

For those of you revealing to family tomorrow, I hope it's beautiful and emotional and happy.

Aah it's the first time I've felt like a mince pie so I've just made some and eaten one warm. Amazing! Though can taste the alcohol in it - I think I'll stick to max one a day even though my friend promised me the alcohol would cook out!

Merry Christmas all! I was hoping for a decent sleep but for past few nights keep waking up for couple of hours at 3am then having to go and have a sandwich or something because i'm so hungry.

Merry Christmas everyone. I've been awake since 4am, couldn't sleep for excitement. Starting to feel nervous now for my parents coming over and telling them that I'm pregnant.

Well we ended up telling DS today but still keeping quiet from other family members probably until NYD.

I hope it's not too early I showed him the little pic on the app on my phone and asked him to guess what it was.

My mum got all emotional as well! Safe to say a very big but lovely surprise! Not sure why I was so worried! Lol feels strange people knowing!

I feel so bad not telling family yet :( But I do want to have the confirmation, either bloods or scan, that things are going well. Only 4 days to go!

@BertieBotts I know what you mean. I’ve shared with work as I’m a chemo nurse so they need to know so they don’t allocate me to give chemo but I won’t be telling anyone else until 12 wks. I do feel bad but it’s self preservation just in case!!x

Morning! Please can I join you? Got my bfp yesterday, haven't told anyone, not even DP! Due 31st Aug. Pretty sure that my dates will make it beginning of Sept, but will have an elcs which will probably take me back into Aug. Congratulations everyone.

Any plans on how/when you're going to tell your DP? I'm still on the mumsnet group from my last baby so they all found out first when I posted a picture of my first test for their opinion of whether it was a BFP or not 😂. DH found out a day later after 2 more tests, via text as he was at work.

Hope you all had lovely Christmas Day's - we told the 'rents (both sets as they were both here) yesterday and it was as amazing as we hoped. We did them both a little reveal card (me and DH both designed our own) to open at the same time then there were tears and hugs still getting a bit tears remembering.

Slightly different reveal today - off to see my sister for a little bit. She lost her baby at 9 weeks this time last year and it needs a little more delicacy so I'm telling her on her own and letting her process it. I think she will still be happy but hopefully as she's on her own, she won't feel like she HAS to put a brave face on if she does get upset.

I’ve been looking at maternity jeans in the sale as I feel like my jeans are already getting tight and might as well get them whilst they are on sale! Last time I had a really comfy pair from top shop that I wore throughout so was hoping some would be on offer but there’s none in my size :( any recommendations of other shops that do good maternity jeans?

We told my parents yesterday, DM starting crying with happiness, DF moaned that there would be three birthdays close together . He did then text to apologise and say he was really happy just shocked!

How long are the sore boobs supposed to last? Maybe I didn't notice as much last time, but I said earlier that DS was extra clingy to me, and he keeps giving me hugs, which whilst lovely, really hurt!
