Got my bfp 2 hours ago
Still can't sleep lol

Got it a week early af was due 30th

Anyone else??

Alsooooo been feeling very sick and now have lots of heart burn

If I go by the first day of my last period I'm 5 weeks. But I know I ovulated late, somewhere around CD 18-20. I'm not sure if that affects how many weeks I am or if they always use the day of your last period regardless. I've got a GP appt this afternoon as I haven't been booked in with midwives yet given I'm still early on. I really really hope everything is OK. But I have a feeling the GP won't be able to do much but tell me to wait it out. I'll ask if they can do a blood test though.

MrsS: we normally scan at 6 weeks to check viability of pregnancy but that’s because I’m with the fertility clinic. I’d ideally wait until 7 weeks if you’re looking for heartbeat etc.

How is everyone today? My first day at work knowing that I'm officially pregnant. Felt so weird having a HUGE secret to keep! I've been having dull aches in my tummy today, hoping all is well in there!

@Babydreaming the GP was so reassuring. He said it is completely normal what I'm experiencing and he would only be concerned if it was painful cramping and a lot of red blood. He said the pink tinged mucous could be related to the mucous plug as it usually forms at 4/5 weeks pregnant. I got a blood test done so I'll have the results of that on Wednesday. I'm so nervous though. Im already dreading them coming back negative or too low! I really need to relax and keep my mind off this...

Hehe - been there @peterpanwendy ! I cracked first day and told my closest colleague. She said she was quite please I did as what if something happened to me at work if I was taken I'll? At least she knew what was going off.

Glad the appointment went well @nk1605 - I was the same as someone just put my mind at rest this weekend. Hope you can chill and get some R&R now xx

I've had an awful weekend again. Couldn't sleep Friday because of terrible toothache, my dentist doesn't open on a Saturday anymore so I spent Saturday morning either on the phone or waiting a call back from NHS 24. I managed to get an appointment at the OOH dentist at the local hospital. The dentist was limited with what she could do, obviously x-ray was out so had an old filling removed and replaced. No more pain thankfully.

@amzq87 I'm lucky in that one of my best friends is also one of my colleagues so she will find out on Thursday when she comes over (we're teachers and finish on Wednesday wahoo!) x

I feel for you @YouCantBeSirius. I had a huge filling on Friday in which he exposed the nerve . The next thing to look forward to post pregnancy is a root canal... oh joy. I had an x-ray before I knew I was pregnant but apparently they can put a lead apron over your stomach x

@hortonlovesahoo and the others - thanks for your thoughts, I think I'm going to leave it until the first week of the NY by then I'll be 8 weeks so fingers crossed all ok still by then.

Biggest symptoms for me so far - tiredness and soooo emotional! I'm normally a fairly tough cookie but everything seems to be pushing me over the edge and my colleagues are driving me nuts!!!

@MrsS1984 everyone’s driving me nuts too have had to bite my tongue several times to avoid giving people a piece of my mind .

Tomorrow is my birthday. My brother is calling from Australia in the morning so I am telling him then and we are seeing my parents tomorrow night and telling them. Am so excited I finally get to tell them

Hey, tentatively poking my head in. Got a bfp today but only after a full on heavy 6 day bleed with clots. I thought it was a cp but the line got stronger. I only cottoned on when i was getting + opks at CD9. It might still end. Im awaiting blood results and an early scan to see whats going on and if i can get on this bus. Id be 5+4.

Am I the only one still doing tests to confirm? It still doesn't seem quite real!

I think this is the end of the road for me unfortunately. Woke up this morning to red blood, and I'm cramping again. It's not flowing like a period yet but I'm sure that's well on the way. I know I was only about 4/5 weeks but it hurts so much...

Nk dont give up til you know for sure... i thought i was out when i saw heavy red blood but here i am still upduffed somehow. Can you get to a early pregnancy unit? At least to get answers?

Im cramping abit downstairs and in my lower back, no further bleeding yet though. Dont think theres anything more i can do until i get my test results or scan. First time ever that ive had complications in early pregnancy.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I dont think there is much hope at this stage, I've come on really heavy now and the cramping is bad. I have phoned my GP and they'll get back to me later. Have to stay strong for my dd and let myself have some time to accept this until I can try again. Never felt such heartache. But yet I feel silly as I was still so early on.

nk1605 Don't feel silly! I had a very similar thing two months back. I got faint positives for a couple of days, 1-2 on a CB digital, and then a couple of days later I started bleeding :( I felt very depressed about it, despite it being so early. The loss is very real xxx
