Just poas again and its darker than saturdays test. Thats good right? Spotting slowed a bit this morning.

Babydreaming · 13/12/2017 06:50

Oh well that was the worst nights sleep ever! I think I had about 4 hours sleep and have been up since 3am :(

My husband came home late and then at 3am I heard loud banging sounds. I thought it was the baby in his cot but turns out my husband had slept walked and fallen down the stairs! He hit his head and it went through the wall (its thin walls as a loft conversion). So now we will have to fix that before we move house in a few weeks!

Couldn’t fall asleep after all that stress!

Sparklesdontshine · 13/12/2017 07:25

Oh my God!!! Is he ok?! What a nightmare!

Subo2018 · 13/12/2017 07:32

@Babydreaming that sounds like a awful night! Hope your husband was ok.

I've had an awful night...heartburn is so bad I've basically been drinking Gaviscon...I ended up spilling half of it over my mobile in the middle of the night so had to try clean up the mess. I've got a sore throat and cold and to make things worse the nausea feeling is almost constant. I tried to shower this morning but had to sit down in the bath as I thought I was going to pass out. I'm only 5+6 I hope it eases off. I know it's all good signs but I now have to sit a 3 hour exam before work while trying not to be sick.

Is anyone else seeming to forget things yet? For instance I picked up my lunch and for some reason decided to leave it in my bathroom and go to work. This morning I completely forgot my secret Santa present so need to buy one before work.

CaffeineDragon · 13/12/2017 07:58

For those feeling sick - I broke out the Sea Bands last night. Can def recommend them. Helped me last time & are helping already.

Also carbonated drinks - healthier ones like Alibi, innocent or sparkling water and eating carbs. Little and often.

Subo2018 · 13/12/2017 08:10

@CaffeineDragon I am wearing the bands, I started yesterday. Do you wear them to bed? I'm wonder if that will help with the mornings

SpriteGirl · 13/12/2017 08:41

@Babydreaming Oh my God!! What a night! Hope you're husband's ok.

@Subo2018 I nearly passed out in the shower yesterday, couldn't see, had to sit down... so as of this morning my new approach to mornings is to sit up in bed for a few minutes before standing up, i.e. not going straight from laying to standing.

@CaffeineDragon thanks for the tip. Have some queasy feeling but nothing too bad, but am expecting it to hit!

CaffeineDragon · 13/12/2017 08:55

@Subo2018 I did last night! Depends o. How you feel at night I suppose.

I def need to be eating breakfast both for the nausea and to not faint!

RiverRose · 13/12/2017 09:12

Hi ladies hope you are all feeling well!

I have been very forgetful too Subo! Also feel very impatient with people and seem to have a shorter fuse than usual! I know this is a symptom for me as I had it with both of my other pregnancies in the early days.

Had an awful dream last night where I miscarried!

Sparklesdontshine · 13/12/2017 09:21

Where’s @mamabearxoxo disappeared to? Hope she’s ok, she was posting loads 2 days ago

spydie · 13/12/2017 09:27

So a colleague at works daughter has Scarlett fever, I've been frantically googling and doesn't appear to be too much risk for pregnant woman. Hoping not anyway....!! Confused

StrawberryLemonade · 13/12/2017 09:36

Babydreaming hope your DH is ok how terrifying!
I'm joining the nausea club it isn't too bad this morning but last night I felt awful. I had the sea bands last time but can only hide them under long sleeves at work and I'm not meant to wear long sleeves which makes things tricky!

Babydreaming · 13/12/2017 09:37

Spydie I think the ones that are bad are chicken pox (if not immune), rubella and slapped cheek syndrome! Haven’t heard of any issues with scarlet fever.

I’ve attached a picture of our wall that my husband managed to break with his head! He’s very sore this morning but going I work still!

CaffeineDragon · 13/12/2017 09:38

@Babydreaming That must have been so scary! I hope he's okay!

Eloisa123 · 13/12/2017 10:54

@Babydreaming, yes hope he is alright today. Must have been a huge shock!

Funny what people are saying about forgetting! I had a dream about forgetting names - experienced that feeling of total mental blankness in the dream!

YouCantBeSirius · 13/12/2017 12:53

I've had a horrendous morning. Been sick multiple times, then to top it all off I was being sick with so much force I peed myself then burst into tears.

Subo2018 · 13/12/2017 14:05

@YouCantBeSirius that's sounds like a pretty rubbish day. I hope it gets better for you! My nausea has eased off slightly but keeps coming in waves. I hope I'm not actually sick today Sad

Tinks15 · 13/12/2017 14:05

This early pregnancy malarkey is horrible I wish this nauseous, constantly exhausted feeling would go. I can barely eat anything, I'm wretching at EVERYTHING. Thankfully my 2.5 DD is being pretty good bless her. I'm feeling so miserable at the moment. To top it off I'm really constipated. Is anyone else suffering with this? Need to look to see if I can take anything for it.

Babydreaming · 13/12/2017 14:08

Sorry to hear that some of us are suffering from nausea! It’s such a double edged sword isn’t it? I don’t really have any nausea (but only 5w) and scared that means things aren’t progressing and kind of want that nausea as reassurance?! I bet if it arrives I’ll be kicking myself for saying that !

amzq87 · 13/12/2017 14:16

Hi ladies! Just catching up! @Babydreaming hope your husband is less sore soon!

Forgetfulness wise, I thought that was just because I'm tired but I do seem to be being a generally forgetful person these days!

I had a bad day with nausea and feeling faint yesterday and as this is my first time, I'm still learning what works for me. Today I've tried "grazing" - eating little and often and also forced myself to have breakfast, even though I don't always eat it. It seems to have helped so far! Still washy feeling in my tummy but so much better than yesterday!

Hope you're all well xx

LucyDolly · 13/12/2017 15:55

@Tinks15 I feel exactly like you. feelin so sick today never have any energy. I feel like half the women I was like I just moan or sleep. :( think my emotions are getting on top of me :(

@YouCantBeSirius sending you a hug that sounds awful

WillRunForCake · 13/12/2017 16:11

babydreaming I'm the same with the nausea! On one hand I feel like I would feel more pregnant with nausea but then I won't want it when it does hit! I'm only 5+5 so I'm sure it will kick in soon! Probably as an early Christmas present!

Whichoneisit · 13/12/2017 19:10

I need to start logging in on the computer to make it easier to read and respond.

To those not feeling nauseous, please don’t panic. I didn’t suffer with morning sickness in my previous pregnancies. Enjoy feeling well!

Sorry to hear about the wall babydreaming. Hope DH’s head is ok and it’s easy to fix.

Subo do you normally suffer from reflux? I’ve developed it intermittently over the last year and it’s definitely worse at the moment. I occasionally take omeprozole but I don’t think it’s safe in pregnancy.

tinks terrible bloating and constipation here. Trying to increase my fibre.

Trying to hold off until Friday before doing the last CB digi in the house. I should be 5 weeks Friday so hoping for a 3+. I shouldn’t test again because it’ll only worry me if it still says 2-3!

Subo2018 · 13/12/2017 19:19

@Whichoneisit no I don't normally suffer with anything. I will keep up with the gaviscon for now :).

Spoke to the doctor and they have prescribed me with Cyclizine - has anyone taken this for morning sickness before?

Babydreaming · 13/12/2017 19:36

@whichoneisit I’m also using my final CB on friday! I’ll be 5+3 so hoping for the 3+ too :)

Be careful doing it bang on 5w...I did that with my little boy and it still said 2-3w and I spent the whole day really anxious, I even cried to my husband! The next day it went to 3+ And I felt stupid. If you can leave it a day or 2 after 5w then you might save yourself unnecessary stress? If not...we can be testing buddies on Friday :)
