Good morning lovely ladies

LG&T - your a sweetie thank you. That is dh's most favourite thing in the world! Congrats on getting to 37wks - you are now classed as term are you not

JLT - make sure you rest my dear. Actually that goes for all of you ladies that are doing too much!

Took J to a party yesterday and have managed to invite 2 of his girlfriends over for tea instead of the boys. I dont feel so bad now although i know he will miss seeing his best friend.

Morning all
Went to Paris for the weekend to meet up with DH's best friend who was over for a work thing from Australia. We've been a couple of times before so didn't need to rush around doing touristy things but mainly did lots of walking and eating. Will look forward to telling Bean about the cool places she went to in utero. Ended up in a jazz bar in the catacombs on Saturday night and took her to Pere Lechese cemetery yesterday to see the graves of Jim Morrison, Oscar Wilde, Maria Callas and Edith Piaf. The weather was absolutely stunning and managed to get a bit of colour on the bits that were showing.

Now back at work but only this week to go so hoping to get through it unscathed. 4+6 to go to EDD date...arghhhhhh

Raspberry tea - my NCT ante-natal lady says the tea leaves are better than the tablets and by now (with just under 5 weeks to go) 2-3 cups a day is good and what I'm having. Helps the uterus muscles to tone up in readiness for labour.

The stuff that actually starts the cervix thining and opening need to include the hormone prostoglandin - so that's your pineapple and semen and apparently yes semem works just as well if swallowed as well

Curry and other hot stuff make your bowel constrict and often the uterus will constrict in sympathy so that can kick off labour.
