My breast tenderness has come-and-gone.

I've just (tentatively!) signed myself onto the document- hope I don't jinx myself!

SylvesterTheCat · 18/10/2017 12:44

Wow the fatigue has suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks. I've never been one to nap but I've been falling asleep at nearly every opportunity.

usernamegoeshere · 18/10/2017 12:47

crmble glad you asked that, I'm 7+4 woke up this morning and my boobs were fine. A bit sore now but that might just be because I've been bashing them so much!

SulkyPuddleDuck · 18/10/2017 12:57

@usernamegoeshere haha I know what you mean by 'bashing' them - I'm spending an inordinate amount of time squeezing my own boobs like a madwoman!

Got my 3+ this morning which is a big relief. Scan in 12 days too - keeping everything crossed. Good luck to everyone and welcome to all the new BFPs!

17caterpillars1mouse · 18/10/2017 13:09

I wouldn't worry about sore blobs coming and going. I've not had any boon soreness and I'm not worried. I had none with DD1 either. I think people get different symptoms and not everybody will get all. I have tiredness, all day sickness, bloating and twinges around my belly button but no sore boobs at all. I know it's hard not to worry but pregnancy really is a unique experience and all our experiences will be different (just trying to be reassuring)

17caterpillars1mouse · 18/10/2017 13:09

Boobs!

Caspiana · 18/10/2017 13:12

I’m 8+3 and my boobs haven’t been sore for a week or two. I think (hope!) it’s normal!

SulkyPuddleDuck · 18/10/2017 13:14

My boon soreness comes and goes too ( @17catterpillars1mouse blobs and boons made me giggle! ) it's been stressing me out but I'm trying not to let it..

BoofayTheOompaLoompaSlayer · 18/10/2017 13:16

Boobs and boons laugh snort!!!

Hanz88 · 18/10/2017 13:25

@Caspiana I'm 8+3 too! Boobs have calmed down- though are huge...but the hunger is something else. I eat and before I've finished swallowing my tummy rumbles!

TurtleEyes · 18/10/2017 13:46

Hi!
I'm 7+1 weeks due 5th June. First baby/pregnancy. I've known since 3 weeks but I still can't believe it! I've had to stop taking tests because I can't afford it anymore!
Bit of a strange one as we were trying - got pos ovulation test- DTD, next day got a job offer for a much better job that I've Been trying to get for a while. Stopped trying. I am completely made up though. And still haven't had start date for job Angry
Anyways, feel like I've been so lucky so far not many symptoms, mainly sore and huge boobs! and I feel like everyday is a marathon.
Been off work last two days sick but I'm pretty sure I'm just sick rather than it being preg related.
Sorry if rambling but only DP knows so far - lots of miscarriage in his family and he doesn't want to have to go through the usual tea and sympathy with everyone if anything happens- but I'm finding it difficult to contain my excitement.
Congrats to everyone else on here Flowers

CoffeeChocolateWine · 18/10/2017 13:56

I've just noticed a bit of blood Sad. I'm 7 weeks on Friday. It's very light but definitely there. How do I know at this stage if it's spotting or something else...? Would I feel pain at this point if I was miscarrying? I feel fine...no twinges and no pain. My boobs are still tender and I still feel exhausted!

Emz01 · 18/10/2017 14:04

@CoffeeChocolateWine hard to say but I think if it’s only a small amount of blood then I wouldn’t worry. It’s very common at this stage to spot, I had it with DS and all was fine.

Just booked an early scan for a week on Sunday, will be exactly 8 weeks. Didn’t want to book it as felt like I could jinx it but then wanted to make sure I get in on that day. If all goes well I will tell the family we are expecting a few days later when we see them. So nervous about the scan, I just hope all is ok in there!

Caspiana · 18/10/2017 14:12

@hanz88 hello due date twin! I’m also totally ravenous, none of my clothes fit anymore but not because of the growing baby Grin

I also have a pretty impressive pair of boobs now. Need some bigger bras but don’t want to buy anything before I’ve had 12 week scan...

Mumof3cheeky · 18/10/2017 14:23

I’m sorry coffee you hear so many stories of spotting but perfect pregnancy so don’t worry yourself just yet.
Could you contact your local early pregnancy unit to ask for a scan?

CoffeeChocolateWine · 18/10/2017 14:38

Thank you. Trying not to worry. Hopefully just a bit of spotting. I have a gp appointment on Friday so if It doesn't get heavier but is still there I will see if an early scan is an option. Fingers crossed!

ElizabethLemon · 18/10/2017 15:14

I've just been to my 1st midwife appointment. The midwife was really lovely and approved me for a home birth! Due to high BP last time I was unsure if they'd even entertain the idea but she was really positive and said they would make a real effort with consultants on my behalf. Ages until my scan now and then a midwife visit at home when I'm 17 weeks 😊.

Schnapps00 · 18/10/2017 15:22

Hi all, can I join? This is a massive group! #1 for me, got BFP 11th time lucky after writing off Sep due to spotting that I assumed was AF, so surprised but pleased to be here - not counting any chickens yet though as can see it's already over for some on here, so sorry :( Booked in with the doc but she sent me away again to self-refer to hospital service as apparently had been advised wrongly, did anyone even have a test to confirm or do they take your word for it these days?! Due 6th June :)

Impatientmummy36 · 18/10/2017 15:32

S1lver I'm so sorry, I've been there and it's horrible, hope you're being looked after x X

Impatientmummy36 · 18/10/2017 15:36

Coffeechocolatewine apparently spotting is very normal and often nothing to worry about (unless it turns into red blood or accompanied by pains) but if you're worried you can still call the EPU - you're 7 weeks so they can scan you and/or do bloods x

CrmbleBee · 18/10/2017 16:57

Thanks for the reassurance guys. Welcome to all the new BFPs. It's good to hear you had such a lovely experience with your midwife Elizabeth Lemon.

Schnapps00 I had exactly the same thing. Booked the midwife appointment through the reception at the GPs surgery after the GP was all, 'Why are you even here?'. They should update the info online- the NHS website does not make it clear that you may as well bypass the GP and go straight to midwife. Booking appointment isn't until late November though, around 10-11 weeks in. :( It's ages away and disappointing because I wanted it closer to the 8 weeks, so I've just booked an 8 week ultrasound to make myself feel better. :)

SylvesterTheCat · 18/10/2017 18:24

Coffee maybe doing another pregnancy test could help you get an idea? Spotting is so common though so fingers crossed for you.

CoffeeChocolateWine · 18/10/2017 19:24

Thanks Sylvester. I may do that tomorrow. It hasn't got any heavier and still no pain so I'm hoping that's a promising sign Smile

UnicornsandRainbows1 · 18/10/2017 20:35

Got an appointment for booking in 2 days after I self-reffered. Had to wait a couple of weeks last time. It's still 3 weeks away but DH and I are hoping to book a Scan at about 6-7 weeks just so we're reassured as that's when bean stopped growing last time.

GreggsSausageRolls · 18/10/2017 21:06

Welcome to all newbies!

Quick question, how much weight have people gained?! I’ve been inhaling carbs for the last three weeks to curb the nausea and you can see it on my arse and hips Confused

Toast bread and pasta is all I want to eat right now so hopefully I’ll be on the salad in the second trimester to lose some of this weight. Otherwise I’ll be —obese— very visibly pregnant 😕
