@CuppaSarah big hugs xx
@Sictransit When I had DD the midwife service was overstretched hence the GP appointments. My first one was utterly useless (turned a routine thing into a big mess so I missed a flight) so I switched GP by just booking with someone else after that. All the appointments were a bit underwhelming, I found. They're really just to touch base in case anything's going dramatically wrong.
Oh, and a general warning, which hopefully doesn't affect anyone: if you're on an NHS trust boundary, and know which hospital you want to go to, you should say straight away as all the trusts have different notes bundles and will want you scanned and blooded slightly differently. Spent my last pregnancy taking blood samples to another town on the bus as I wanted to go to the MLU 10min from my house, not the hospital an hour away...would have been easier to switch GP surgeries at the start and be in the right catchment.
Hope everyone is feeling well today! I am on hols with my mum and aunties so DD is bossing them all around and I am in bed with a packet of biscuits :)
