I thought scraggy old jason was the gay one, although he was meant to have shagged Lulu.

I was going to say that about Mark from Take That! My claim to celeb fame (this is SAD) when I was at school and Take That were just starting out, they played a gig in our school hall one lunchtime!!! I have met James Martin (the celeb chef). That will be as good as it gets I think. I like the other one from Spooks - the one that is Mr D'Arcy. Nice boots. The Rupert one is nice though (but can't watch spooks as too scary), didn't know he was with her, I thought her bloke was someone else altogether.

Anyone know if annual holidays count towards MA (it seems I took them all when I was off sick as no SSP)?

Seansgirl · 19/04/2007 20:05

Euuuuurrrrggggh! Foxy thats gross!

riabutterflew · 19/04/2007 20:08

Howard could be gay too? (I was never a big fan so never bothered to find out).

Ha Distant memory triumph!!! I got a birthday kiss off Ian Kelsey (formerly Emmerdale now Blue Murder with my alter ego Caroline Quentin) on my 21st! He was in the same pub as us with a very slim, blonde girlfriend (hope it's not one of you lot). Am fairly sure that's it...will keep thinking...

Seansgirl · 19/04/2007 20:09

Daisy, Strawberry yoghurt is ok here, but we fight over raspberry or blackberry/apple and who doesn't get the black cherry one is the question. Yuk yuk yuk I hate cherry......

Seansgirl · 19/04/2007 20:10

My only claim to fame is seeing Emma Thompson in the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar two christmases ago

foxybrown · 19/04/2007 20:11

Ria, I'd say yes to it counting towards MA, as you don't leave work to go on holiday and then get reinstated when you return. Is it based on continuous employment or how many weeks in a certain time period you worked?

I claimed it with DS1 but my brain has turned to baby rice since then.

I also am a former HR bod!

foxybrown · 19/04/2007 20:13

I've never kissed anyone famous.

Which is surprising really, given the number of men I have kissed

riabutterflew · 19/04/2007 20:17

Thanks foxy. Hopefully my exboss will reply to my email with timesheet info and I can just send it all to the powers that be and then they can mulitply it by 500 and divide by 63.75 like they usually do and decide it's a NO. Is only a small form, worth a try.

As I am feeling financially depressed I have just done a "quick jobsearch" for DH and found - horror of horrors, this is down-to-earth Yorkshire - an ad for a chef wanted for a private family home (must have own car though)!!! Lazy buggers. I'm no cook (as we know), but employing one to do it for you? Maybe they don't have takeaways in their area (it's only about 15 miles away from me - 'tis ok, I won't be applying).

Seansgirl · 19/04/2007 20:19

Annobal, sorry about the flippiant peg remark. Can totally sympathise on the hayfever front, I am usually taking piriton or something similar by now, backed up by eye and nose drops,I get really bad in June with grass seed. Am going to GPs next week to see what, if anything she could give me. Probably not much. At the moment, I am just aimed with a saline nose spray called Sterimar that my DM swears by for her allergies, but haven't tried it yet. Have you got anything on standby? Have heard there are some homeopathic remedies but have no knowledge.

BTW Daisy, you are very brave venturing onto one of those threads [shudder] I have been blanked too, also verbally savaged on another Never again, hence this is not my original MN name

Seansgirl · 19/04/2007 20:21

Me neither Foxy, but wished I had.

Seansgirl · 19/04/2007 20:23

Right, bettter see if dinner has cooked and give DH some attention

Sea of Souls tonight too. How sad looking forward to a BBC drama. Just call me Norma

foxybrown · 19/04/2007 20:26

I can't watch sea of souls - or any of those shows - am such a wimp, I'll get scared!

I would like to report that DP and I are getting on well and treating each other really nicely.

Makes a change, huh?!

annobal · 19/04/2007 20:30

But surely if it was to cook for Rupert, Ria...???

Was a very exciting day, he is very yummy, and a highly trained MI6 agent. I bet he could deliver a baby. It is also great news as it means that Spooks will be back on our screens very soon - and I am a tv addict. A very skinny Hermione Norris was also there.

I also saw Alan Rickman at the Tate a while ago (whom I also love due to Truly Madly Deeply). He was in front of me in a line up for a Blake exhibition.

annobal · 19/04/2007 20:31

Seansgirl, don't worry - it was a funny remark and is liable to get loads more mileage...

Just watching hairy bikers, followed by House and Shark (Sea of Souls is on repeat on Tiscali so can watch it any time - prob tomorrow night when the tv is crap)

annobal · 19/04/2007 20:35

okay last post - good to hear that you are getting on well foxy! Long may it continue (I hate fighting)

Daisybump · 19/04/2007 20:37

PMSL foxy....seriously have felt like bub is on its way.....or at least has engaged...nasty pressure down below when I walked anywhere today and I think my bump has changed shape...we'll see what the MW has to say tomorrow.

hollyandalice · 19/04/2007 20:38

Hi all!! Glad everyone had a good day in the sun!

We have finally finished painting the dining room and have just got back from Asda with loads of treats! Just made yummy homemade pizza with pineapple, onion and sweetcorn. So with the tomato sauce there's 4 of my five right there!! Hooray!

I've been a bit naughty with two famous people! One a footballer and one a tv presenter!! Hehe I was such a slapper!! That's half the fun of being young though isn't it?

Please can I be an early one? Dd was two weeks late, so surely this one can be two weeks early to cancel it out!! I won't take a peg, I don't want another late baby...pleeeease!! Though I am quite sure this one can be sneezed out, dd only took a few coughs!

foxybrown · 19/04/2007 20:39

thats exciting Annobel - you have the same interests - a match made in heaven (albeit in fantasy!)

Yes, Daisy, the pressure is on! Apart from my farting issue, I can now add chaffing to my list of ills. Told you I was puffy!

foxybrown · 19/04/2007 20:40

Tell us Holly, tell us!!

Go on, we need to know!

hollyandalice · 19/04/2007 20:42

They are not particularly famous (probably z list) and I am quite of both of them. I was pretty drunk both times!!

Daisybump · 19/04/2007 20:44

Go on, tell us, pleeeeeeese

hollyandalice · 19/04/2007 20:46

John Hartson, used to play for Arsenal (he's nasty and ginger ) and Mike Brewer, presenter of car shows! I am quite ashamed, but looking back they were both hilarious experiences! I say never have regrets!
