What's happened liath? Anything specific, or are you just sick of needing a wee two minutes after your last one (or is that just me )

Apologies to anyone who's really enjoying the whole pregnancy thing too . I am a grumpy old whinge.

KatyTheProcrastinator · 05/04/2007 20:07

Apart from the wee thing (and 2 minutes is no exaggeration, in the last day or so I've noticed I literally get down the stairs before needing to go again), I am really

Nothing specific, Katy. I don't enjoy late pregnancy at all and am a bit up & down at the moment! Oscillate between wanting it out and terror at coping with another newborn! Eek!

KatyTheProcrastinator · 05/04/2007 20:08

I think in my case ignorance is bliss!

!

Actually I was just as bad first time round, DH called me "grumpy & bumpy".

Hi all.

Firstly to say what a BEAUUUTIFUL day it has been here have been "sunning it" all day long and cannot wait for tomorrow, summers already here it seems!!!

Ellie if you're back hope you're ok now and feel a lot less worried x

ANGE and YVIE - many congrats am very very

Glad to see there is now a much awaited for "post-natal" thread I can't wait to read all the new baby stories and reming myself of what it is like.

To all you with the hospital bag nightmares, I can totally empathise. Mine has been sat there packed for the last 2 weeks and I can hardly look at it anymore.

For anyone with under 5's. Beat this for attention seeking. Not only has LO decided to gain attention by starting to poo on floor again at age 3.3. Tonight he decided to POO right in the middle of the DRIVE at tea-time in full view of nosey neighbours lol. DP soon ran out and scooped both poo and child up to my total horror. How can it get any worse?

Have now made my (hopefully) last appt to see the dreaded midwife, for guess what the actual DAY of my labour, 10th april and even then they have point blank refused a home visit.

On the title front, I am sure there will be someone who takes offence to the word "sodding" Katy........not myself however. Glad you found the email interesting.

On the "codes" that I posted. I just found out today ( am fairly sure) that the Next ones can be used over and over again which is even better. The Tesco's one, some of them seem to be void but if anyone wants new ones let me know, there are a few more I've found. AND the delivery for tesco's has now gone up to £6.00 scandalous!!!

Getting more and more lazy as the suns seems to getting hotter and hotter, apparently its going to be "blazing" at the weekend, we shall see!!!

Hello people!

DD's are asleep, house is clean and tidy and baby clothes are sorted and about to go up in the loft - Bought the last few bits for Hospital Bag as well ... so doing ok here ..... ish .....

Feeling a bit weird and out of breath this evening .....

kitty - I am in Eastbourne, so not really that far from you over there in Falmer!

What are people's plans for the w/e?? (Apart from popping out lots and lots of Easter babies, obviously! ) We're going for a picnic on the beach with people from church tomorrow; I am working on Sat and Sunday will be church and chilling. DH and I are hoping his parents might take DD's for the day on Monday so we can actually spend some time together and sort a few more bits out and crack on with the spare room ..... not holding out much hope though ..... esp as FIL is in "decorating mode" Sooooo of all you guys whose families (esp grandparents) take an active interest in their chlidren and take them out etc .....)

Right. Should stop depressing myself and help DH get these boxes into the loft ....

Evening all

Well, saw mw this afternoon, and lo head has come back up a bit Its still engaged, but not as much as it has been. But then she asked what the movements had been like, and I told very uncomfortable, which indicated to her that the baby is actually getting itself into a better birthing position iyswim. Told me off for stopping the raspberry leaf tea, so am now on it with a vengence lol (it was making my BH so painful) Am booked for a sweep on the 14th (which they will do at home) 4 days after due date.

CD - I'm getting breathless too, but it also conincides when this lo sticks it foot under my ribcage ooowwww!
As for the weekend - tomorrow, dh and my dad are cementing the middle bit of the drive thats currently full of gravel-not great for ds, and I will be painting the gate the dh has made that goes across the drive. If its still sunny, we'll probably go for a walk along the beach. Nothing specifically planned (unless I go into labour lol)

runnyhabbit · 05/04/2007 21:11

Pinions · 05/04/2007 21:23

MIAMT. I know how embarrassing. I don't really know what's going on TBH.

EVEN when potty training at aged 2 he never did anything like that. Talk about regression. Oh well we live and learn as they say.

EllieKthePA · 05/04/2007 21:27

lol i c try and cover up and say it was the kid thats wat they r there for right
