Had our scan today, all well but measuring 5 days behind where I thought I was giving an EDD of 4th may! Will see what 12 wk scan says.

Totally not interested in sex here. I'm constantly exhausted and to be honest quite hormonal and moody so not best combo! DH doesn't seem to be too bothered at the moment though.

Took DD with us to the scan who was asking a million questions so I'm sure it'll only be a matter of time before she says something to someone!

Aww @JammyC so how far along does that make you?
I've been measuring 4 days behind in my scans but the midwife said they don't count it until the 12 week scan.

Also I've just re-read my post and I sounded awfully smug Blush honestly didn't mean to come out like that!

Thelostsock · 16/09/2017 18:06

My 12 week scan gave an EDD of 25th march. I'll think I'll stick on this board though! It was so amazing to see, didn't expect baby to move around so much too. Can't stop looking at the picture

JammyC · 16/09/2017 18:32

It puts me at 7wks exactly MrsD and I think I'm 7+5. Not thinking too much about it other than worried how huge I'm gonna end up because I'm already feeling rather large!

boatrace30 · 16/09/2017 19:47

Not at all @MrsDneedsaB . Maybe we are emitting some strong pheromones ! As seemingly I'm irresistible. Despite feeling about as unsexy as possible and wearing tracksuit bottoms all the time!! 😂

I feel I've made DH sound bad. We were abstaining as had bleeding in last pregnancy and we were both scared but once I got to ten weeks I actually suggested it would probably be fine as no sign of bleeding.

Anyway I didn't realise what I was starting!! I think he's trying to get it in now before I'm massive and in the knowledge that once the baby is here it will never happen. 😂😂

The pheromones thing is defo real!!!! My oh is like a dog on heat, which I've taken full advantage of 😂😂

MrsDneedsaB · 16/09/2017 20:55

Oh thank goodness, I thought reading back I sounded so smug "oh my DH finds me soooo irresistible" 😂😂 I feel the complete opposite.

It's very nice for us to relish in this attention though, can't exactly complain that your DH/DP finds you sexy

Watching Call The Midwife - whyyy am I doing this to myself lol

olicat · 17/09/2017 08:56

boat I have zero interest too! I've had problems with my cervix before so too frightened in case of bleeding. I also feel gross! DP is very understanding, think I will see how I feel after the 12 week scan.

harrietm87 · 17/09/2017 09:23

Another one with no interest here! We haven't had sex since we conceived! But I've had 3 mcs and had bleeding and spotting with this one early on, so was advised to avoid sex and exercise. Hoping that I'll be up for it again after 12 weeks - 10+3 today so not too long to go. DH has been fine about it, bless him.

MissYeti · 17/09/2017 11:15

Have to agree with the no sex drive...I think we've DTD maybe 3/4 times in the last two months. OH doesnt seem to mind, he's seen how tired I am and entertains himself with his ps4 until stupid o'clock in the Morning instead. Hoping 12 weeks will bring things back to normal cuz I miss the intimacy :( and I feel like a lousy partner for being so tired and grumpy all the time

MissYeti · 17/09/2017 14:31

Quite glad to be feeling nauseous in between taking my anti sickness tablets now, the last few days its been getting stronger. MIL has put into my OH's head that I shouldnt be taking any tablets because they can hurt the baby (even though these were prescribed) and I think ive been subconsciously worrying that she's right. Time for a bath, makes me feel better every time

fitbitbore · 17/09/2017 17:10

Back feeling sick again the last 3 morning and back on beige food!!! What's this all about at 12 weeks??? 😭😭😭

Sam91TRS15 · 17/09/2017 17:37

fitbit I'm the same, felt a little nauseas last night and I'm sitting with my sick bucket next to me. Doesn't help DD is potty training so that's not fun!

fitbitbore · 17/09/2017 21:00

@Sam91TRS15 it's bloody rubbish!!!

Thelostsock · 17/09/2017 22:20

Yep I'm back to it too and feeling worse than before @fitbitbore

bondbaby · 18/09/2017 12:04

Well that was a let-down! Went for my first booking appointment with the mw today, and I suppose I was quite looking forward to it, as the first 'official' recognition of my pregnancy. I was in and out in 10 minutes, because they'd run out of notes so all they could do was take my bloods and ask me to come back next week! Confused

Jen160817 · 18/09/2017 13:45

Hi - is this the right place to say I'm expecting twins in April? X

MissYeti · 18/09/2017 14:38

@bondbaby hope all goes well for next week!

Jen welcome and congratulations on the twins!!

Sam91TRS15 · 18/09/2017 15:02

bondbaby sorry it was such a let down, to be fair the notes don't get any more exciting. Until they start checking the heartbeat and belly size etc it is a bit underwhelming! But it can't be long until your 12 week scan now? Although I imagine you haven't been advised that yet?
Hi jen congrats! Twins is exciting! How far are you?
I have my 12 week scan tomorrow and I am so distracted I cannot get any work done today!

Parney · 18/09/2017 15:24

Had my 12 week scan today, will post a pic later. Baby was facing us so had the little alien look instead of the side profile. Due date brought forward to March 28th but I like it here so will stick around. Was a lovely experience, legs and arms were fluttering about. Can't wait to start feeling those movements, was 19 weeks last time before I felt a thing! I'm almost 13 now and I've heard it's sooner on the second.

Congratulations Jen!!!

Sam91TRS15 · 18/09/2017 15:44

That's great news on your scan parney! Also babies are always late, you may still be april! I can't remember when I felt them last time, but I hope it's nice and early this time!

Parney · 18/09/2017 16:38

Thanks Sam! I don't know how I'll cope with a late baby, DS was born at 37+1, didn't even have time to be nervous it was great. I know it tells me nothing about this pregnancy but 40+14 seems like forever away! What will be, will be though! Early kicks would be great!

bondbaby · 18/09/2017 17:13

Thanks Sam and yeti. I wasn't expecting fireworks, I think each appointment etc will just feel like a milestone reached, so delaying for a week is annoying! Especially when time seems to be passing soooo slowly. MW said she will request a date for my scan now even though I'm not officially booked in yet so fingers crossed that comes soon!

RosesForBadgers · 18/09/2017 17:25

Welcome @jen and congrats @parney! I'm 31st March so just on the cusp but I like this group too Smile

Whymustyoubringinthebirds · 18/09/2017 19:00

bond at least your blood tests should be back by your next appointment which I found was a positive ( my booking in was split into 2 appointments a week apart due to parking restrictions at the drs)
