Hi all, I thought I'd start another thread. Hope you find it!

Welcome Jen and congrats parney... I'm intrigued to see a face on scan pic!

Have my booking appointment tomorrow, am so impatient to get my 12 week scan date! Hoping they won't make me wait til 13+6 or something but just want the date in the diary!

I'm surprised to see so many people waiting for scan dates that are further along than I am :/ I got my date last week and its not til October, cant understand why some of you are much closer to 12 weeks than I am and are still waiting!? Seems weird...

Think it depends on the area you're in - I'm in central London so maybe they're just busier? Or they hedge their bets to see who actually attends their appointment?! I'm 9+2 so have a bit of time, just am super keen 😁

I just found the baby's heartbeat! So happy! But I would find it the day before the scan after weeks of anxious waiting after my last scan!

I arranged my booking in appt at about 8 weeks, had it at 9+4, and my 12 week scan is booked for when I'll be 12+3. I'm 10+4 today so not too long to wait!

Mines is 3 weeks today and I'll be 11+6

I loved my 12 week scan! I thought we'd both be really emotional but we were just in awe. Hadn't realised how wriggle baby would be, or that every limb would be so clear. Kept telling the lady what an impressive machine it was 🙈

Good luck with your scan today @Sam91TRS15 was it this morning or are you having to wait around until this afternoon?

Mine is Friday and I can't wait, just want to know if little peanut is still wriggling away.

I've got mine on Thursday nervous/excited I'll be 11+6!

And I do hope all those waiting for dates get them soon it's nice just to have it on the calendar to look forward too!

Mine is tomorrow, I'll be 12+1. Quite looking forward to it as feel quite reassured by healthy scan at 7weeks and I've been feeling so awful! Fingers crossed. xx

Thanks everyone! The scan went well and I am now 13 weeks tomorrow! A full 5 days pushed forward!! So that puts me due on the 28th of march, but I will also be staying on this thread!
Baby wasn't playing ball, squirming about and constantly going the opposite way to what the sonographer needed but she was lovely and thorough. Had me rolling over and jumping up and down, and shaking my jelly belly about!
Feeling so relaxed now! Will try and get the scan up tonight or tomorrow

@whymustyoubringinthebirds mine is 3weeks today too and I'll be 11+5 so almost exactly the same!

Anyone else got lower back/top of the bum cheek pain? Muscular not cramps, feels like mild sciatica but surely it's way too early for that!?

@Sam my DD got pushed forward 5 days until March 28th too! 13 weeks tomorrow, it is flying. Delighted all went well for you. Great news for you too @thelostsock! Good luck to everybody waiting!!!

I got my scan date today, 11th October when I'll be 12+4, the countdown is on! 😁😁😁

Suddenly feeling a bit anxious about mine.

Oh also @Aspenn17 I had that pain a few weeks back. Sometimes if I take a weird step I get a proper weird twinge in my lower back. Apparently it's everything loosening up and it can wreak havoc with your sciatic nerve. My sister had horrific sciatica with her second pregnancy

Thanks @olicat, @fitbit, @thelostsock, @MrsD and @Boat. It is a funny angle! We got DS like that at 20 weeks too so it must be something to do with my uterus he had a much wider jaw line, wondering if this is a girl or maybe a lot of filling out happens between now and 20 weeks.

@fitbit baby was like a frog in my early scan! You'll definitely notice a huge difference.

@boat I was terrified yesterday walking in to the scanning room even though I'd had a 7 week scan too. I hope you can relax more than I did. The sonogropher picked up on it though and zoomed in to the heartbeat straight away. It was incredibly reassuring. Good luck!

@Aspenn hope you feel better soon. I had lower back pain around 8 weeks, it has passed now thankfully!

I think we've told everyone in RL now! So exciting!!!!!

I've also got my 12 week scan today at 12 weeks exactly. I'm nervous! It isn't until 3pm.
