Hi all, I thought I'd start another thread. Hope you find it!

Trying again to get photo up... no nub to be seen, baby was hiding his/her bottom!

@boatrace30 yay the picture is finally up! How lovely 😊

@Sam91TRS15 the nub is the little bit below the tummy that kinda looks like it could be a tail or makes all babies look like they've got a little willy lol 28yrs old and the word willy still makes me lol sunshine's scan shows the nub very clearly, just googled it and apparently on scans where you can actually see the nub and it's direction is obvious it's 98% accurate!

Got my scan tomorrow morning!!! Eeekk I think I'm more excited than nervous cos I've had three scans already!!! Hope I get a nice clear pic!

Or as one of my friends said is it giving us the finger!
We did jolt it around quite a lot trying to get the right measurements lol!

What does my nub tell you mrs? I have no idea? I did compare DS scan and his head/skull is much more prominent/large/shapewise top. But don't think that means anything.

Lovely scans everyone! Can't believe some of us are almost out of the first trimester! For those of you who are 12 weeks plus, have you started to feel better?

I'm 11+1 and if anything have felt a bit more sick and tired over the last few days, having peeked up a bit at around 10 weeks!

My scan is next Wednesday - starting to feel bit nervous!

@Sunshinesaz86 from your scan I'd hazard a guess at a little girl  I didn't want to go out and say it before in case you didn't want to know hehe 🙈

Good luck today @fitbitbore!! Mine is only a few minutes after yours 😆! I'm 12+5 but expecting to be knocked back a few days.

@harrietm87 I felt so much better and barely pregnant at 10 weeks and then yes around 11-12 weeks the tiredness came back and so did the sore boobs, the nausea has kicked back this week but I think that's because my stomach now sits so high it gets full very quickly! I've heard it gets better again in a couple of weeks so I'm looking forward to my energy coming back 👍🏻

Not long now harriet Wednesday will soon come round. When do you enter the 2nd trimester is it week 14/15? I can't remember what my app said last time?

both my mum and sister have said pink but I really don't mind I'd love another boy or one of each. As long as it's healthy. I don't think we'll find out again this time either.

14+0 is the start of the second trimester, so Wednesday for me!

@Sam91TRS15 have a Google of the nub theory and there will be loads of images to tell you what you're looking for - unfortunately not all scans show it though. There's been plenty of nub theory threads tho, like I said it's a bit of fun and people always love a guess ☺️

Yes my scan is in 30 mins! Best get a wriggle on, I'm lucky I can see the hospital from my living room window otherwise I'd be late!

I hope the second trimester is better! Not nauseas during the day anymore, but I get it quite strong early morning and late evening. I am pretty sure with DD, once nausea went the acid reflux started.. I don't know which was worse!
I have attached a scan photo, may not be great quality though! Its the only one where I think a nub can be seen, but i think the leg is in the way!

Just for fun I'd hazard a guess at a boy 💙 I've shown why I'd say that ....circled the area in yellow and shown the angle in red haha sorry I feel like a freaking witch doctor or something 😂 could be absolute bollocks for all I know but hey ho just passes the time doesn't it!

Also my scan went great this morning, I have a little jumping jelly bean in my tummy! I had to wiggle about to get it to not be curled up in a ball but once it was awake it didn't wanna stop moving 😂

I've been put back 3 days so a EDD of 4th April 👍🏻😍

Woohoo congrats on more scans! I am absolutely counting the days til mine.

Have a work drinks tonight that I don't want to miss, really want to avoid anyone noticing I'm not drinking! Am 10 weeks tomorrow so close to being able to tell people but reaaally don't want anyone to guess. Sadly I've always been partial to a wine! I could always say I'm not drinking due to getting up early tomorrow... what worked for all you lot in the early days? Im super looking forward to being able to ve open about it - My friends know but keeping it quiet at work for obvious reasons.

Thanks Mrsd! I think that makes sense with the lines - I couldn't work it out with Google! I'm actually not fussed either way, but DSS and DD want a boy so hopefully there is some truth in the theory! I have a 16 week scan booked to find the sex out this time so will know soon enough.

We've told most people Why. A few friends don't know as we'll see them in person next week, and we haven't told work yet (need to email my boss to arrange a meeting but keep putting it off). I had my NHS scan at 10 weeks and all was fine, nothing else planned medically for ages, so we went ahead and started telling.

Earlier I had horrific cramps come on all of a sudden lasted about 40 mins took pain killers. Just been to the toilet and there's blood. Pinky red no clots. But now I'm thinking to myself I'm going to lose this baby after our MMC back in Feb.
All was fine on our scan yesterday.

We've told all the people important to us in person, I told work this afternoon and will be doing some form of Facebook announcement at the weekend just to let extended family / friends know.

I am replying so quickly to all these messages 😂 you can tell I'm too excited to work can't you!

Hopefully the terrible cramps were just the baby moving to a better position in your stomach or something. Did the sonographer see anything in your scan?
Any black spots or possible cysts that may have burst? They can cause pain and blood.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, call your midwife asap and explain to her. They should hopefully move pretty swift due to your pain

sunshine I'm so sorry about your cramps and bleeding, have you managed to phone your EPU? Hopefully they can get you in and checked out asap xx

I'm currently just picking up DS from playgroup. My mum works alongside midwives so she's going to see if the EPU can see me or not? With it being Friday afternoon I may get told to wait until Monday! 😩😢

Nothing on either scan all looked good on both apparently! I just feel if its going wrong it's so shit to happen right after 12 week scan when we've told a few more people.

I'll keep my fingers crossed though I know this can happen and all can be ok. Will keep you posted.

How are you feeling now with the cramps? Has the bleeding stopped?
