What a great scan pic I've not seen one at that angle before either!

Countdown to our 12 wk scan tomorrow. It's just before midday so only a few hrs to get thru in the morning 😬X

Is anyone else's stomach sitting high? Making me feel awfully full and sick for hours after eating 🤢

@MrsDneedsaB yes I've been feeling sick for the last few days!!!!! It's annoying me and putting me off eating!

Yep, mine is. I am generally feeling fine but the sickness can come on suddenly. The uterus comes out of the pelvis around now so probably pushing everything up!

12+2. Due the 2nd April! Everything was perfect! 💛

All fine at our scan too! Due date stayed at 3rd April. Very wriggly baby! We got the alien view too as well as a normal one.
But.. it won't let me post them!!

Does anyone know if they do internal scans at 12 weeks if they can't get a good view?

I've never heard of it. I hardly drank anything today as was determined to actually enjoy it rather than be desperate to get to a loo. It was completely fine.

I'm 9 weeks today and I've got a private scan this afternoon, booked another one to reassure myself (DH still thinks it's a waste of money-oops!) and I've woken up feeling so worried and nervous about it been feeling a lot less pregnant in the daytime but then being sick a lot at night.

So many lovely scan pictures! Mine is a week tomorrow. Can't wait now

I've never heard an internal at 12 weeks unless there's a problem nick.

Good luck aspenn I completely understand, I couldn't sleep last night just kept thinking it's going to be like last time where they tell me there's no heartbeat. I've been positive up until now. Keeping fingers crossed all is well.

Early pregnancy is so tough. X

All ok at the scan thankfully! So relieved again. Baby was wriggling away moved my date a day forward so official due date is the 5th April.

Had my bloods done too.

What a lovely little pic! Has anyone thought about the nub theory with their scans?
I'm terribly impatient to find out what my baby will be 🙈

Also just used the Doppler and found Peanut's heartbeat 😍❤️😍❤️ I'm so much more relieved for my scan tomorrow!

@mrsDneedsaB whats the nub thing about?? Not heard that one

The nub theory is where the angle of the nub can determine the sex of the baby.

Anything straight or in line with the back of the baby is deemed a girl and then anything at an upwards angle (something like over 30degrees) is believed to be a boy.

It's generally meant as a bit of fun to guess but it's thought to be relatively accurate in comparison to some of the others and old wives tales

Oh okay! I'll have a look when I go for my scan in a few weeks! Will be interesting to see if there's any truth in it!

Just had the best early scan!!! It couldn't have gone better, we saw the little bean dancing around loads, really good heartbeat. And because the other sac has now completely vanished I can have all the screening tests Feeling so much better about everything.

Need your opinions on this though, the Dr put me ahead to 9+5 (yay!) but this would mean conception was 15th july, but I was on my P from 8th-11th July... so not possible right? Must just be growing fast?

In terms of dates I'd wait till 12 weeks as I think thats the most accurate time for dating.
However I do know of people getting dates they think are impossible, I guess it's not an exact science.

I'm being stupid, what is the nub??
Aspenn, my scan at 8 weeks kept me at 8+2, got to 12 week scan and pushed 5 days forward. I think there is a lot more variability with how and where the measure at that stage. May totally change again! Also you may ovulate early, I don't think our bodies always do what they are supposed to!
