How's everyone doing?

londonfeather I had my 36 week appointment on Monday. She advised me to fill in the little birth plan section towards the front of my notes, so I've now done it, very briefly! That was it. Otherwise just a standard antenatal appointment and took the usual 10 mins. It wouldn't have been worth me having DH come. Appreciate all areas and midwives are different though!

And yes Sayitisntso I am getting jabbed in the cervix and definitely don't remember this from last time either. I do not appreciate it one bit.

Ladies, has anyone weight gain picked up speed in 3rd tri? I'm averaging 2lbs a week but honestly I don't think I'm doing anything differently?!?

I've not noticed the weight gain picking up yet mophie as mine actually steadied for a few weeks and I definitely wasn't scoffing any less!. I am expecting I may heap it on though as I put on 3.5st with dd and have only put on about 1st 8lbs so far this time at 32wks.

Thanks sayitisntso1 (how do you link to someone's name? 😂) maybe I'm under on amount gained? Ive gained 16 lbs so far 33 weeks today.. admittedly a lot of that has been the last 3 weeks?! Hospital told me to aim for a 1lb a week -about 25 in total...

16lbs is a very sensible amount. I am just hoping to keep it between 2-2.5st this time. I remember a good 14lbs or so dropping off straight after I'd given birth.

ruth glad someone else is having the stabby pains too, but you have my sympathies at the same time! Between that and it feeling like bubs is trying to somersault I do not remember feeling this uncomfortable with dd.

I've started putting on weight very quickly. I'm not sure how much but I'm so hungry atm. Making up for all the time I felt too sick to eat!

Toddler spent most of the night crying hysterically which is really unusual but means my hips are so painful from lying down on his bedroom floor for hours. Still don't have anything to do today apart from get my hair cut.

I have not stepped near the scales. I don't want to know. I put on 3 stone with DS and am bigger this time. Lost it ok last time so I'm clinging to that (even if it is supposed to be harder the second time!)

Going for a nursing bra fitting today which makes it all feel a bit more real and scarily close!

It's just amazing where it's coming from! Obviously mostly food (I'm constantly hungry!) but I'm unlikely eating enough to gain a kg a week (i.e. Wouldn't if not pregnant) so I just don't know where the gain is coming from, I guess fluid maybe? Pregnancy continues to amaze and baffle me!
I've heard you shift it through breastfeeding but then I also hear you are starving too?

I'm definitely not obsessing over the scales - it came off with my DD and will do again. I know I'm on track for a 3 stone gain which is vastly better than the 4 stone with DD!

My hunger is reducing! I think my stomach is squashed. I'm looking forward to 4 weeks time when I can eat without heartburn.

There was a spreadsheet with due dates wasn't there? Has anyone got it or shall we do a list? Some people must be getting close!

18th September, 33+4 :) Very close @Lules

25th Sept, 32+4 but hoping for a section at 39 weeks.

29th Aug, 36+3, but c section at 39 weeks 22nd Aug

I'm due 20 sept, so 33 + 3

Due September 8th, c-section booked for 4th September

Sorry, 35 weeks today

33+3 today. Due 20th September

35 weeks and due 8 sept. Hoping for earlier than that though! I've not been past 39 weeks before so hoping this baba doesn't decide to set a new trend.
