Thanks for understanding DancingUnicorn and I just need to find that faith as well.

Thinking of you 1000. Hope things have eased off now and everything goes ok tomorrow.

Anyone else suffering with insomnia? It is not helping my anxiety in the slightest but at the same time, I seem to recall suffering badly with DD1 and DD2 whereas I didn't really with my last miscarrige. Dr Google reckons it can be hormone related so I am hoping it means they are going up and not crashing down.

Poochieblue · 26/07/2017 00:03

Thoughts are with you 1000

I have terrible insomnia, I have suffered on and off with it for years anyway, had more or less got it under control before my holiday and initially thought it was the change in time zones messing with me but I've been back 6 days now and it's getting ridiculous now, I have seen 3 & 4am wide awake for the last week 😳 I'm so exhausted! 😳 X

Jacqueje · 26/07/2017 06:21

@fuzzyowl I've never been that good a sleeper but insomnia is definitely worse, largely at the moment because I keep waking up needing to wee! This morning I feel like death as woke up at 3am this morning to go to the loo and didn't manage to get back off, normally I can manage that but already feeling extra tired.

Think I might tell my line manager today that am pregnant. I wanted to wait until later but will need the time off for antenatal appointments and he'll wonder why I'm being so rubbish otherwise. I think it would also be nice to have someone else who knows but isn't going to be emotionally invested if things go wrong. I don't want to tell family until after first scan because they'll make such a massive fuss and that would make me feel worse if things then go wrong.

HazelRah · 26/07/2017 07:16

Super good luck today 1000jobs! I had bleeding at 8 weeks with my last preg and it all turned out fine. Fingers crossed.

@FuzzyOwl my insomnia is killing me!! I was such a good sleeper and since I've been preg I've been sleeping terribly and am up at 5 every morning :-( I hope it'll get better when my body get used to the hormones, although I remember it going on for ages with my last pregnancy..

HazelRah · 26/07/2017 07:17

Let us know when you have news Bluee... Thinking of you Star

Thinking of you this morning blue

Flatwhite31 · 26/07/2017 07:55

Thinking of you this morning @BlueeSpottyTiger. @LaSurprise have been thinking of you. How are you feeling today?
@1000jobstodo, how are you today? Xx

I had a strange 'episode' last night where I became really hot and sweaty all of a sudden, then felt really faint. I had to get down on the floor, then after a couple of mins I felt better. Weird! Have googled and apparently feeling lightheaded/faint is quite common.

Countdowntofour · 26/07/2017 08:00

@flatwhite it is common def, make sure you're getting enough rest - when it happens to me it's usually near my bedtime and I'm trying to fight it cuz it's about 8pm 😐

Hope all the ladies who are struggling have a better day today xx

Sallywiththegoodhurr · 26/07/2017 08:20

I'm really sorry to hear all the bad news Sad

Thinking of you this morning @BlueeSpottyTiger

whyhastherumgone · 26/07/2017 08:29

Thinking of you today @blueespottytiger. Fingers crossed everything is okay for you.

1000jobs how are you this morning? Hope the bleeding stopped and it's just a random bleed like some of the pp have said.

@FuzzyOwl I have had real issues with sleep in the last couple of weeks (think i'm six weeks this weekend). Have real trouble dropping off it takes me a good few hours, then I'm up constantly needing the loo in the night and can't seem to fall back to sleep properly. I found a clear blue digital test earlier this week and decided to do it out of curiosity and it was showing more weeks than it had previously so i think my hormones aren't going up and i still have the insomnia so i think it's probably more to do with pregnancy hormones going up rather than doing down if that makes sense? I know clearblue is notoriously unreliable but i'm going with it for the time being!

I'm struggling to find things i want to eat. I don't feel sick but nothing seems appealing - anything i would usually eat for breakfast for example, i just don't want yet i'm still hungry. Has anyone else got this ?

whyhastherumgone · 26/07/2017 08:29

are* going up bloody autocorrect

SheSaidHeSaid · 26/07/2017 08:43

I've been struggling with sleep too. When I am asleep I have vivid or weird dreams but I'm also waking up at something like 5am and not getting back to sleep again.

I also like sleeping on my stomach, or I used to, but I now find that if I wake up on my stomach it makes me feel more sick.

I hope in the next few weeks things improve.

@whyhastherumgone I have this - my appetite has just dropped off completely. Did the weekly shop and nothing appeals now! I've been forcing myself to eat bland food to keep the sickness at bay. Occasionally I'll get the urge to eat a particular food, then the urge will disappear as fast as it came!

whyhastherumgone · 26/07/2017 09:07

Yes @mamasiz last night i decided i really wanted cottage pie - by the time i made it i didn't want it. I don't seem to have sickness yet although i haven't eaten yet this morning and i feel a bit strange. Trying to make myself eat marmite on toast.

stumblymonkeyagain · 26/07/2017 09:10

Thinking of you @BlueeSpottyTiger for your scan this morning and @1000jobstodo as well...

I'm a bit of an emotional mess this morning. All I can think about is my scan tomorrow, I'm supposed to be having meetings today for work and I just feel totally overwhelmed to be honest Sad

Plus BabyCentre just sent me a 'You're 7 weeks today and baby is the size of a blueberry' notification which didn't help because I nearly shouted at it...'Well, there was nothing bloody there last week so I don't f'ing think so!'

Flatwhite31 · 26/07/2017 09:11

@whyhastherumgone I have gone from the least fussy eater ever to being really selective over what I eat! I cook nearly everything from scratch, and am finding myself cooking real basics again like a student! I also normally love snacking on raw veg, but I gagged eating carrot sticks yesterday, so I'm destined to just eat veg mixed in with things (e.g. pasta sauce with lots of veg). It's really annoying, as what I really want is unhealthy (white bread, crisps etc). Thankfully I'm still keen on fruit, so making sure I have some every day. Could you try a jacket potato with a little cheese? Or maybe some breaded fish and sweet potato?

Flatwhite31 · 26/07/2017 09:12

Oh @stumblymonkeyagain sending you lots of hugs, you poor love. Does anyone at work know you're pregnant? You know where we are. Xx

BlueeSpottyTiger · 26/07/2017 09:15

1000 aww please do not worry, to be seen at the epu i had to have a gp referral but all hospital's are diff. If yours is the same then to get an appointment today i would speak to nhs 111.. they will tell you to be seen by a primary care trust (gp) and they can refer you then. Hope your okay chick xx

I had my scan and baby is measuring exactly as my lmp suggests 6+3. I didn't need an internal scan as it was big enough to be visable on a abdominal ultra sound..yay! No dildo cam for me 😂 we saw the little fluttering heart and it was nice that dd was there to see her future brother or as i think sister.
They dont know what caused the bleeding or the pain that i have but everything is in the right place and healthy. I feel so relieved.
Just need this terrible sickness to pass as i feel awful all day everyday at the minute and im really struggling looking after a 17month old active toddler.

1000jobstodo · 26/07/2017 09:19

Morning all, thanks for the well wishes.
No bleeding throughout the night but some sharp pains and aching. I've slept maybe an hour due to pain and worry and my dd deciding last night would be a fantastic night to be up crying all night due to her covers (she has problems with clothes etc) and this morning my poor dog has decided to become very ill.
So.. I called midwife team who told me to call epu who told me to call gp who told me I could only get phone appointment, then see me if necessary, then refer to epu.
I'm going to sleep for a week after today.
I'm so pleased there's no more bleeding, but I can't help feeling anxious due to the aching stomach.
I won't have much time to worry in between lunch with my mum, vet appointment, gp appointment and possible epu. Oh and my dd's tantrums. She's also poked me in the eye... For good measure.
Where's the chocolate??! Smile
Laugh or cry I think!

Thinking of you Blue hope today goes ok.
Hope the rest of you have a uneventful, lovely day!

BlueeSpottyTiger · 26/07/2017 09:23

stumblemonkey sorry i missed your post saying your feeling emotional..love & hugs for you!
I can only access mn through my phone and it only showed me the majority of todays posts after i posted! 😑

Like my post to 1000 only showed up just before.. weird! Sorry for posts I've missed.

I am struggling with insomnia so bad!

Flatwhite31 · 26/07/2017 09:28

Great news @BlueeSpottyTiger, so relieved for you! I admire you ladies looking after energetic toddlers. You're all amazing!

FuzzyOwl · 26/07/2017 10:12

Sorry to hear so many of you are also having sleeping problems but also really pleased as it makes me feel much more relieved.

Thinking of you stumbly and 1000.

Wonderful news Bluee.

NorthernBelly · 26/07/2017 10:14

That's wonderful news @BlueeSpottyTiger!
@1000jobstodo, fingers crossed that you manage to be seen at EPU today and they can reassure you - it's good news that everything settled down overnight. I have a toddler too and it is pretty exhausting. Hope everything is ok with your poorly dog too Sad

stumblymonkeyagain · 26/07/2017 10:20

Great news @BlueeSpottyTiger! So pleased for you...

Everyone at work knows...I've just rescheduled one meeting to Friday though I have given advanced warning that if the scan isn't good on Thursday I'll be out Thurs/Friday.

I'm working from home this week which is good (I told a white lie about being on 'bed rest' for a threatened miscarriage because I don't think I could face being in the office this week).

My cats never, ever kill anything. Today the little one has come in with a dead bird (RIP bird). She left it for me so I think she must be feeling sorry for me too!

As it happens...a dead bird didn't help but I'm sure she means well Grin

Mimilicious013 · 26/07/2017 10:33

Great news @bluee, glad all is well.

Thinking of you @stumbly and @1000 Cake.

Insomnia here too and it is wearing me out! Hope things will get to change soon. I seem to have grown a liking to hot cross buns🙈
