I agree with Monty Scots, I love Margo! I have two girls with old lady names already, so need another for this baby 😉

Bluebell my girls have an ie and a y, right with you on that!

Miami so sorry for what you're going through. How was your night? FlowersFlowers

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 08:01

How're you doing this morning Miami ?

I also envy all of you who can eat crap Envy my diet seems to be limited to peanut butter on crackers, small amounts of cheese, and fruit. It all I've wanted since those bloody nachos.

TipTop333 · 17/05/2017 08:01

Thinking of you Miami, I have everything crossed FlowersFlowers

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 08:06

And with names, DH and I have surprisingly reached agreements for both gender. Though I am not allowed to name it Archie, after a dead relatives pet Angry a big issue is that we both have such large families, a lot of names we like are already taken and we feel a bit weird about having them have the same name as someone else.

glastogal · 17/05/2017 08:22

Hope all is well with you Miami - thinking of you today x

Miami81 · 17/05/2017 08:24

Thanks all.
Managed to sleep a bit and am up and about ok this morning. Will just have to wait and see what epu say. Very much like full on period now.

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 08:26

Miami Sad I have everything crossed for you. Have they given you a time or are you just dropping in when you're up and about?

macsworth · 17/05/2017 08:43

Thinking of you Miami. I have everything crossed for you, and hopefully you can get some answers soon 💐

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 08:53

Well ladies! Only four Wednesdays here to go, how shall I keep myself occupied today? 😂

Mrsbluebell17 · 17/05/2017 08:58

Let us know how you get on Miami. x

Peachi82 · 17/05/2017 09:10

Thinking about you, miami!

Not thought about names yet. I want to wait with all this for after the first scan.

Carley27 · 17/05/2017 09:13

Thinking of you Miami, really hope you and baby are both ok Flowers

Miami81 · 17/05/2017 09:28

So because of my bicornuate uterus and the fact that when they scanned last week they saw that the left horn was shedding a bit, they think this could be that desidual reaction increasing due to it being 8 wks and therefore time for a period anyway.
I have to keep an eye on it through the day and ring them if it escalates.
Thanks for all your kind wishes. Trying to decide whether to go to work or not. Maybe best just for the distraction......... although nightmare scenario is bleeding all over the place at work!!!

ScotsLamb · 17/05/2017 09:41

I took today off work as feeling really rubbish last night and this morning. Worst morning sickness ever today and wondering if it's because I'm not distracted by work. Eugh! It's going to be a long day.

ScotsLamb · 17/05/2017 09:42

Glad you were able to get some reassurance Miami. Work probably would be a good distraction. I'm feeling worse not being at work as I'm just focusing on feeling ill.

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 10:06

Miami do whatever you feel comfortable with. I would however make sure work are aware, just so you have that bit of extra understanding and support.

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 10:07

Oh. And do not under any circumstances read the drug dependant baby thread in classics Blush especially at work.

glastogal · 17/05/2017 10:18

I read that thread on Monday zabe.. amazing and tragic. Those ladies are so inspiring 😲

MontyPants · 17/05/2017 10:20

Oh Miami I hope everything is ok. Sounds like there could be a non-worrying reason for it, so keeping my fingers crossed for you x

Brens13 · 17/05/2017 10:22

zaber stop finding good threads! I've already lost 2 days this week reading the funniest things to happen during birth thread, I'm really going to have to do some work some day this week!

miami Flowers for you and I hope everything is OK x

mamalovesviolet · 17/05/2017 10:29

The EMIN thread in classics is a teary one that is for sure!

Hope all is ok Miami x

mamalovesviolet · 17/05/2017 10:31

I didn't think I would see a consultant because of previous placenta praevia but turns out I will! 16 week consultant appointment instead of midwife. Which is annoying as the midwife appointments are so convenient as they are close to home!

Zaberwocky · 17/05/2017 10:44

Grin I'm glad we're all so addicted now.

CarlottaJo · 17/05/2017 11:22

Girls I think I'm going mental, just booked another early scan for Sat as am so anxious something has gone wrong? Am I crazy? Can I have some hand holding Sad

MontyPants · 17/05/2017 11:23

Found out that DH's boss is having a baby (or rather, his partner is). And she's due on the same date as me. SUCH a small world. Really don't think she's on this thread, and I'm not supposed to know she's expecting yet anyway! But if you are on here, HI 👋🏻
