Phew found the new thread! Had withdrawals for a few minutes last night Grin

ScotsLamb · 05/05/2017 07:05

Brens13 Me too. I couldn't work out what had happened until I tried to post.
Early morning wake up for no reason. Should have had a long lie as not in work until 11. I'm just so tired.

TipTop333 · 05/05/2017 07:06

Was up in the night with a toddler who was being very very sick. Think it is definitely a sign that my nausea is subsiding a bit considering it didn't set me off!
Now everyone cross their fingers that it is something she ate and not a bug that we are inevitably going to get.

BirdBrain85 · 05/05/2017 07:30

I wondered what had happened to the old thread too!

Am I the only one who feels a bit paranoid at the moment? I have no reason to think anything is wrong, but keep thinking it is. I had the early scan so should feel on top of the of world, but if anything I feel even more anxious because I've seen baby actually exists and just want s\he to be okay. My nausea has pretty much gone now too (unless it reappears today), I'm 8+6 so maybe that's normal!? Sorry for the worried moan!

Krissy81 · 05/05/2017 07:38

Can I join? Hello (waves). I've been lurking for the past 3 weeks and sharing the highs and the lows (and many good laughs!) I'm 7+6 and have a daughter who will be 2 in August. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks in Dec and it's been a hell of a journey to today. Sounds like lots of you have been through similar. I think I'm still getting over it.
Today is the big day - private early scan to see if this little blueberry has a heartbeat. I've barely slept I'm so nervous...

TipTop333 · 05/05/2017 07:45

Welcome and good luck today krissy. I'm sorry it's been a tough journey for you, I am hoping for a happy and healthy pregnancy for you.

Birdbrain your post reads exactly like mine yesterday! Had the early scan but I have underlying feelings of anxiety about everything and symptoms starting to subside. We have set up a Nervous and Anxious Bench and you are allowed to sit on it if you bring crisps.

BirdBrain85 · 05/05/2017 07:53

Haha ahh Tip I'm glad I'm not alone in this madness!! I'm sure our babies are floating about and having a grand old time, while we drive ourselves crazy Grin. I'll bring Pringles to the bench!

Brens13 · 05/05/2017 07:54

Fingers crossed TipTop that it is something she ate and you don't have a virus to add on top of everything!

Congratulations krissy I hope everything goes well today Smile

MummyHenman2be · 05/05/2017 08:18

@QueenEnid please can you add me to the FB group?

[email protected]

Thank you!

Royalsteph · 05/05/2017 08:20

Can I join the anxious bench? I can bring bagels, croissants and primula! I'm 6+6 but keep feeling something is going to go wrong. Scared more about labour this time round which is mad considering I've done it three times already.

TipTop333 · 05/05/2017 08:20

QueenEnid I have added both mummyhenman and doctordonna

BirdBrain85 · 05/05/2017 08:23

Good luck today Krissy I hope all is well and you get a lovely scan pic!

Royal Your offerings sound amazing! It's horrible being in limbo in these early weeks. I don't think mine will lift until my 12 week scan.

YouBoggleMyMind · 05/05/2017 08:39

Had my early scan yesterday and all is well with baby Boggle. It was amazing to see it's little heart beat and it's measuring as it should and all is well GrinSmile midwife appointment on 21st may and then another scan at some point after that!

TipTop333 · 05/05/2017 08:42

Am I the only one who has the booking in appointment at the same time as the scan?

Zaberwocky · 05/05/2017 08:46

Tip I think so!

DH managed to book a pre booking in appointment ... so my actual one is now going to be at around 14 weeks Hmm so after my scan ... t'is crackers! Should all be done in one day in my opinion.

However. I do need to drive 1.5 hours to the hospital to get a scan, so maybe it's for the best mine are separate days!

Queen0ffaff · 05/05/2017 08:52

Welcome, Krissy.

Morning everyone! Feeling a bit more human today after my first almost-full night's sleep since before I even tested. Hoping it's not a one-off!

Thanks for the FB group, QueenEnid, I think I'll join you all after I've had a scan.

Who's doing / planning to do kegels? Or done them in previous pregnancies? I was thinking they'd be a good thing to add to the list, but my pilates teacher - who is generally really great and has always been spot on before - has told me they're not such a good idea as our pelvic floors should be fine at childbearing age and you don't want them to be so tight that labour is more of a struggle... Any thoughts?!

Good for scans today!

Brens13 · 05/05/2017 08:57

Queen0ffaff I'd been doing kegels because my app told me too lol, but maybe I'll stop now!

Anybody else not heard from their midwife at all? I went to Drs a couple of weeks ago and he filled in a form and said I probably wouldn't hear until the 8 week mark....I'm only 6+4, but it seems everyone else has their appointments all in. I know I'm behind a lot of you and different areas do things differently but I'm so impatient for more information! Grin

Brens13 · 05/05/2017 08:58

6+5 in fact...forgot it wasn't yesterday anymore!

ChocolateRaisin · 05/05/2017 09:01

Bird & Tip, I am exactly the same, 8+6 and the symptoms are definitely easing for me. The constant nausea is gone, I now just throw up first thing in the morning and after my dinner and generally feel ok the rest of the time. Well, I have for the last few days and I'm really hoping that the constant nausea doesn't come back as I wasn't coping very well with it.

I'm very bloated now and feeling tired today. I am worrying a bit, I think the chances of things going wrong after an 8 week scan where a good heartbeat is seen and all is looking good for dates are very slim so I'm hanging on to that. I'm having another reassurance scan next week to help with my anxiety and because I'm going on holiday for a friends wedding with other friends and they will notice that I'm not drinking.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 05/05/2017 09:07

Ooops my Facebook is on a different email! [email protected] is my Facebook email.

Zaberwocky · 05/05/2017 09:18

Well Grin the stemetil worked well for a week.

I'm now back to chucking up every hour or so.

Very envious of everyone who's finding symptoms are lessening!

Queen0ffaff · 05/05/2017 09:20

Brens, I think I'll try and ask her more about the theory behind it as I'm still a bit confused by it - don't want to avoid them if they will actually help... Kind of want the best chances of things staying as "intact" as they can! I'm 6+4 today and have nothing booked in at all yet, either. GP seems very laid back about it, but it would be nice to have a date in the diary!

QueenEnid · 05/05/2017 09:24

Morning ladies 😊
Hope you're all doing ok today. Sending positive vibes and all the carbs to those like me who seem to exist on toast and sandwiches at the moment!

I've added all those to the fb group who've added their emails so far.

What's everyone's plans today? Katie and I are off to baby sensory this morning and then we're having a picnic with some of my nct friends this afternoon

Morning all!! I can't believe it.. today I have hit double figures. 10 weeks pregnant 😱 and Bug is apparently the size of a Lego figure 😂

I have celebrated my making myself a stack of pancakes for breakfast (honestly it will be ages until my baby bump breaks through this fatty belly I am creating!!!! 😳)

Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend!!

TootsyBella84 · 05/05/2017 09:31

@QueenEnid I've sent you a pm with my email.

I feel horrendous today, been sick 3 times this morning already and all I've had is water and a ginger biscuit!
