Ah good to have a Due date buddy Lydia! This ones got a lot to live up to, my DS and DD both arrived naturally on their due dates!

Did anyone else hear the media rumours that Kate Middleton is pregnant again?! I'm a fan of her style but don't fancy seeing pics of her looking elegant and neat bump whilst I feel like a whale for the next six months lol!

Foggymist · 30/04/2017 12:59

Didn't hear it this time but that rumour goes around the whole time. I wouldn't take her hyperemesis over looking good when pregnant though!!

So as I approach the 12wk mark the sickness is not getting any better really hoping it's not going to b the whole way through! Struggling at work as it is with eating being sick and standing all day. Why does it seem so much harder this time round?

EdgarAllenPoe · 02/05/2017 11:46

I would definitely complain ski. It isn't right for them to treat you or anyone else that way. Either the nuchal fold scan is important for everyone, or it isn't. They don't get to pick and choose just because you had a wiggly baby that day.

My queasiness is thankfully easing (11wk+4). Still totally knackered all the time, but that might just be down to having a 15 month old, work and more house DIY than I can list.

Skisunsnow · 02/05/2017 13:59

My sickness isn't subsiding either. Still really nauseous and I just don't know what I want to eat. I think sleeping has definitely helped, as I've noticed a difference when I've had a really long sleep. Easier said than done with a 2 year old, a 4 year old (pre school) and doing shift work.

Hello! I have migrated from the early Nov EDD thread. I'll introduce myself again for those who weren't there:

I'm based in Coventry, 27, first baby!

Had an early private scan back in March due to nerves (previous miscarriage), which showed I was over a week behind, so it didn't reeaalllly calm me down. SIGH.

Then told my family at around 8 weeks, to which my dad responded that he was "very anxious" as we had told our news "so early". Hmm

However, I went for my 12-week scan last Friday and despite the baby's impromptu in-uterus breakdancing routine making it hard to get a clear image, it was all PERFECT. Measuring bang on the original dates (minus one day) and all looked delightful. EDD is now Nov 5th, but the teenage goth in me is hoping he or she will make an appearance on halloween :D

Nausea has just about lessened (now I'm 13+2), but holy sh!t I didn't expect the first trimester to be so utterly awful. I thought anything less than hyperemesis (which a few friends have had) would be a walk in the park but NOPE. All HG sufferers out there: you are bloody amazing superhumans.

Good luck to everyone else still waiting on their scans!

Congratulations for your lovely scan @Stilyaga, really glad to hear things are going well for you.

I'm still feeling a bit nauseous but have been lucky I never got really bad sickness. The thing I'm wondering about is if my food aversions will ever lift- I pretty much hate all vegetables at the moment and have done since about 6 weeks, I try and have juice and things like homemade tomato pasta sauce but feel I'm eating so badly, and I used to be super healthy (I actually requested broccoli for my wedding!)... I'm scared I won't ever get back my healthy tastes!

SarahS17 · 03/05/2017 08:00

Hi everyone, had my scan last Thursday and all is looking well, they moved my EDD from 9th to the 8th November. The little guy (we have a feeling it's a he!) was waving and wriggling away! Feeling very bloated and large at the moment but I don't think I'm actually showing, just wearing constant baggy tops! Does anyone have any suggestions for good maternity leggings? X

Don't worry MsBranwen, you'll get back into veg eventually. I went off most veg during my first pregnancy and put on an impressive 4 stone (I'm 5'2"!). In my defense I did have an enormous baby. Anyway, about 2/3 came off naturally within a few weeks, and the remaining few pounds I had to work at. Thankfully I started enjoying healthier food again post partum. I did eventually lose all the baby weight, only to fall pregnant with this one the very next month! I'm off veg again, although forcing myself every so often. Trying to compensate with juice once a day. We'll get back on it, now's not the time to worry.

elio · 03/05/2017 15:04

One of the best things about having the baby is getting your appetite back and for me loosing the weird taste in my mouth. My diet has been poor as I have so many food aversions, onions especially.

We had our scan today, baby's measurements fine, but unfortunately like last time, a high risk downs screen. DD was fine but want to know for sure so hoping to have cvs tomorrow, or amnio if they can't get to the placenta. Got put forward a whole week..I think my body just does hormone levels different to the average as I am very sure when I ovulated. Due date now the 2nd November.

Hi everyone!

I just had my 12 week scan last week Friday... all is well with baby :)

user1493836273 · 03/05/2017 19:57

have you stared a Facebook page group for babies born in November?

user1493836273 · 03/05/2017 20:07

Think I need to start getting new bras! I am a 34B and not sure if to just buy two 34C and see how quickly I grow out of them... don't want to get too many in this size as I have no idea how long I will be in them for

Rufus200 · 04/05/2017 10:09

Yes there is a Facebook group. Anyone that wants to join, PM me your real name and profile pic description. I then have to add you as a friend to add you to the secret group

What three dots?

Are you on the app or on line?

user1493836273 · 04/05/2017 18:30

I'm on the app and there are no 3 dots... sorry

user1493836273 · 04/05/2017 19:50

Ok I worked it out finally. I had to do it on my laptop as the app on phone does not give you the option x.

FlightlessBird · 05/05/2017 17:04

I had my scan this week, and saw baby swiming around. They couldn't get the nuchal measurements so I've been booked in for the blood tests, which makes me a bit anxious! EDD is now 13th November

Mummyagainmaybe · 05/05/2017 22:06

@flightlessbird glad you had a lively scan. Must be reassuring. I didn't get a measurement of the nuchal fold in my last pregnancy but the blood test gave me low risk. I don't think I'd have had an amnio if it was higher risk anyway as the risk of loss with it are so high. Good luck with your bloods x

lydiangel83 · 06/05/2017 00:05

@FlightlessBird also awaiting blood test results.

Wanted to know what people are doing to keep fit? I have put on loads of weight in first trimester and want to curb it a little in second or will be out of control by third!!
