Hi all, just joined as I'm pregnant with my first and due in November. Couldn't edit the spreadsheet either I'm afraid, so feel free to add me - due 8th Nov, team yellow until I get NIPT results next week, live in the North East, I'm 33 and as I said, first timer.

Was just beginning to feel a bit more lively and less sick recently but now have a throat infection which has knocked me sideways and I'm a bit gutted about but hopefully it will bugger off soon. Have my 12 week scan next Weds and also had one at 9 weeks for reassurance, which worked for all of about 5 mins before I started worrying again! Hopefully next week's scan plus NIPT might help me relax if all's well. Fingers crossed anyway.

How do we find the FB group please Rufus?

SarahS17 · 19/04/2017 22:06

Thank you for the exercise book suggestion, I will look into it. The picture is hilarious but still better than how I look when exercising even now and I'm not showing yet!! I have a hiatus hernia already and the heartburn worst heartburn already, no amount of gaviscon or rennie seems to help. I'm on medication from the doctor but it's milder than what I'm usually on :-( Does anyone have any suggestions or if it will calm down in the second trimester?

Nice cuppa I am also 15th may for scan it's so far away I will be over 12 weeks by then aswell x

TeaAndPjs · 20/04/2017 07:37

Snap :) mines is the 15th may too

cnew · 20/04/2017 08:08

SarahS17 I had horrendous heartburn in my last pregnancy and terrible acid reflux at night in bed. I dont remember it starting til 3rd trimester then, but I'm already suffering. I had some medication last time, and spent a fortune on gaviscon. I hope it improves for you! Also doesn't seem to matter what I eat, it sets it off!

MsBranwen · 20/04/2017 09:20

Good luck to everyone having scans today, wishing you much wellness. Mine is first thing tomorrow and really terrified, especially after having spotting on Sunday (but nothing since). Lots of deep breaths, delicious biscuits and hugs all round xx

PingusMistress · 20/04/2017 16:16

SarahS I'm afraid my heartburn got worse over time as well in my last pregnancy! I'd be interested to know if there is anything you can eat or drink to ease the pain though, I was eating packets of antacid tablets last time.

Had my dating scan today and all is well! Baby was wriggling and stretching its legs and waving its arms. I need to wait until next week for the full NT results though. They moved my EDD forward to 28th October but I'm still going to hang around on this board if you'll have me, I suspect the little one will turn up late if it takes after DH Smile

PingusMistress · 20/04/2017 16:28

Oh and good luck for tomorrow @MsBranwen !

Rufus200 · 20/04/2017 16:34

Pingu I'm also due 28th Oct, so please hang out with us

Scan was all good today

Oh and to everyone spotting, I spoke to the Dr today about it and he said 50% of all healthy pregnancies will have some form of spotting and it is nothing to worry about although scary.

PingusMistress · 20/04/2017 16:56

Congratulations @Rufus200 !

Did you get any inkling of the gender? I've just looked up nub theory which suggests mine is a girl. But I've always felt that it was a boy!

Rufus200 · 20/04/2017 17:46

pingu I already know I'm having a girl, I had the NIFTY test 2 wks ago. I was really hoping for a girl as I have DS so really happy. Oh and congrats to you too, sorry brain just doesn't work at the moment.

Aww! So glad your scans went well @rufus and @pingus, you must feel so relieved! And reassuring to hear that the Dr doesn't think spotting is anything to worry about. I am trying to be calm about tomorrow but am really a nervous wreck... Oddly, eating all of the ice cream in the freezer hasn't helped!

AbbieV · 20/04/2017 19:23

Hi guys, I'm new to mumsnet. I have a 14 month old and currently 11 weeks pregnant with baby number 2. My 12 week scan is on the 3rd May. Please tell me I'm not the only one completely sapped of energy? Bring on the second trimester!

Mummyosborne1983 · 20/04/2017 21:06

I had my booking appointment yesterday and then afterwards I had some pink, I'm a bit sore and think it could be thrush related and due to dtd but for reassurance had a scan today.
I'm bang on my dates and a heart beat was clearly seen Smile I'm 8+3

TeaAndPjs · 21/04/2017 09:34

I had my booking in app yesterday and reassurance scan and I'm left confused, all looks well and there's a heartbeat but baby is only measuring 6 weeks instead of 8/9! Back in 2 weeks for another scan

Mummyosborne1983 · 21/04/2017 11:14

Could you have ovulated later teaandpjs?
Or did you have an early bleed? X

Mutiny0nTheBunty · 21/04/2017 12:50

Hi All, checking in too although can't access the spreadsheet Sad

I'm due 22 Nov, age 35, team yellow, from Cambridgeshire, currently have one DS (6yrs)

Feeling soooo sick this time around and also showing ridiculously early. Clearly all stomach muscles were decimated with DS! Convinced everyone at work must know, haven't been able to do up trousers since 7 weeks and currently 9+4

Can't wait for my scan and trying not to worry myself too much before then with what can go wrong (I'm a shocking little rain cloud I know). Scan all booked for 9 May and then (fingers crossed) DS can tell everyone. He's been surprisingly good so far and hasn't told a soul (except a queue for the swan boats at Woburn Safari Park in the Easter holidays, but I'm not sure that counts)

Lovely to see some scan pics on here Smile

@Rufus200 I will join the Facebook group!

akpounce · 21/04/2017 14:29

@Rufus200 can I join the facebook group please? I don't know how to PM you but feel more comfortable posting there than here about my pregnancy! 10 weeks and 2 days pregnant, in Kent with an 8 year old and 4 year old already. 8th pregnancy but hopefully 3rd child. Already showing and feeling like a whale. :(

TeaAndPjs · 21/04/2017 14:44

The dates I had (9weeks by lmp) could be out as late ovulation at CD20 (give or take a day) so I guessed about 8 weeks instead of 9 but to be put back another 2 weeks seems a big jump! No bleeding, no pain, nothing untowards which means going by what hosp said I must have been roughly 7dpo when I got bfp which seems a bit too soon to me! Hopefully it's just a slow starter!

Scan not good today, strong heartbeat and measuring a couple of days ahead, but extremely high NT result and blood results showing 1 in 5 chance of a chromosomal abnormality. I've got an appointment next week for further testing, but it doesn't look good.
