MIABT, your story has cheered me up no end!
Laughing with you not at you!!

I am peed off with dh as well. He is lying on the sofa watching The Simpsons, while I am sorting out dinner - again. He has not cooked in months. I AM FED UP OF IT!

Pesha · 12/03/2007 20:17

Bless you eca, thank you. I had loads of nesting energy myself up until last week but seems to have deserted me now! Dp has promised to try and get as much done as possible before work all this week but not sure how, he normally sleeps til nearly 3 when we go get dd from school then has to leave for work at about 5. Still am loving this nice weather, kids played happily outside until gone 6 and both went sraight to sleep soon as their heads hit the pillows, bliss!! No arguing, no shouting no nothing!!
Oh and am very impressed by your post eca remembering everything about everyone, can i just echo all the nice things you said I think lots of nice things as i read posts but most of it just floats straight back out my head again!

SOL - when cutting dds hair earlier i found 2 eggs and 1 big fat louse Bloody little bastards So you'll have to let me know how you get on with the um...quit nits was it?

Emmymummy · 12/03/2007 20:18

GRR at the dhs SOSPL. Hope yours is nice and comfy on the sofa, he must be so tired poor love. . Have just downloaded my new pregnancy relaxation CD onto my Ipod. Am now going upstairs to lie down and listen to it and sod everyone else. Night all xxx

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 12/03/2007 20:26

Pesha, a nit update will be available tomorrow!

Emmy, yes dh must be exhausted poor lamb! God, my blood is boiling. I am doing EVERYTHING and still at work this week. Don't see me lying on the sofa with my feet up. Took me an hour to go 4 miles tonight after picking B up from preschool. Dh was already home, drinking tea and looking at emails. Washing still sat in the machine. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 20:34

Hello everyone,

MIABT glad you're finishing work soon and feeling relieved.
Emmymummy - hope your stomach pains are better soon, do you have them all the time?
LOL at all the nits talk - I have all this to come, unless they have a scientific breakthrough in the next few years and manage to eradicate them!
Thanks everyone for the boy congratulations! I've spent the rest of the day with a huge grin on my face - reminds me of the day I got the BFP (only then it was a secret!). We've just been out for a mexican to celebrate, I'm stuffed.
Am I the only one who hasn't had leg cramps yet? Are they really common? Have I now just jinxed myself?? In case any one is jealous can I just say I'm making up for it with the indigestion - in fact it kept me awake last night after I'd got up to go to the loo - that and bump kicking, and excitement about today!

WestCountryLass · 12/03/2007 20:36

Congrats on your boy Katy

Can't keep up with everybodies news, i'm afraid, my brain is like mush. I wrote a cheque at the vets today and had to ask if it was 2006 or 2007

No news here, baby still very low it feels like his/her head is grinding against my pubic bone, was joking that s/he will have friction burns on their head! Loads of BHs but am not getting too excited as could be like this for another 3 weeks, or 5 if I go overdue

maveta · 12/03/2007 20:37

Sympathy to all with dhs going through useless phases x

Eca - great news re. time off work, it was sounding like you needed it, now just rest up and relax!

SOSPL and Pesha ewww ewww EWWWW re. lice! ACK ACK ACK

MIABT - LOL at leg cramp.. sounds like no matter how much you might (miraculously) be up for it you´ll have a hard time convincing your dh! Great news re. finishing work early, 2 more weeks for me and no chance of finishing early as my leave is unpaid so every day extra I take only costs me money

Thanks for all the concern re. my porky burps I have now eaten a big plate of broccoli and peas with a teeny bit of tuna steak so feel much healthier and finally got rid of that taste. Shall not return to the land of pork crackling for some time..

WestCountryLass · 12/03/2007 20:39

On the nits front, DS got them on holiday and then twice when he started school in quick succession. We have some Greek treatment, have no idea what it is though but it works. I do think the best thing to do is comb their hair with the nit comb a couple of times a week.

maveta · 12/03/2007 20:40

Katy44... mmm mexican sounds good.. no I´ve not had leg cramps either. I thought I might have had them once but never had them again so wasn´t convinced.

We´re skiving out antenatal classes this week and next. I´ve just got this weird feeling you shouldn´t be skiving these classes... are we going to flunk parenting before we´ve even started??

WCL - ok ok I am going to start getting due date envy veeeeeerry soon...

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 20:40

maveta - that sounds really healthy. Not sure what my meal was called but it was full of melted cheese!

OP posts:
Katy44 · 12/03/2007 20:41

How come you're skiving? You're not nipping down to the park with a litre of cider are you?

OP posts:
Katy44 · 12/03/2007 20:42

Who is going to be first??? Every time I come on here I expect to see that someone is in labour (not literally 'see' of course), especially when I haven't been on for 24 hours or more!

I feel like my shift is finally over for the day, DH is putting DD in bed, it feels terrible that looking after her at the moment feels like such a chore.

YvieE- I missed the baby show had tickets and everthing I completly forgot

Emmy- at your DH men can be so bloody useless.

SOSPL- you should do what I do and just tell DH that you can't manage to cook as you are in too much pain!

Eca-good on you for getting some time off work even if it is un-paid, make sure you look after yourself and bump

MIBAT-SEX!!!!!!

I want sex
Have been feeling the "urge" since friday, I keep offering it to DH but so far it is a no go, I think he thinks if we do it the babies will pop out straight after, and he just isn't ready for them to be born yet.
So F***G what I need Some SEX.
It is not like it is ever going to happen again he should make the most of it while he can.

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 20:56

1b3 have you reminded him of that? It might just change his mind

OP posts:
Pesha · 12/03/2007 20:57

LOL at sex talk, I am gagging for it but dp is just not interested and working nights he's not often around when i want it anyway. Finally managed to convince him into some play a few weeks ago which was great except afterwards think my womb did something funny and had agonising back pain, I tried not to let on too much as the same thing happened the last time we got frisky and thats a big part of whats been putting him off but I was in that much pain it was hard not to show it all. Hasn't put me off at all but unfortunately i think it has him

Katy - congrats on your boy!! I peeked in the due in march thread earlier and some of their babies came really early back in jan and all through feb. Cant believe none of us have dropped yet!

1becomes3 · 12/03/2007 20:57

I have said it many time's but he has convinced himself that his magic sperm will make them pop right out

Pesha · 12/03/2007 21:06

WCL - (think it was you!) Agree about combing but it takes so long and dd moans so much it always ends up with me getting cross and as i have NO patience at all right now I just cant be doing with it so will prob use hedrin at the weekend or try the stuff sol's got if it works!

My leg cramps are getting out of control at the mo, keep getting cramp in my hip when i try and move position, get up or sit down and that on top of SPD is not funny. Well not funny for me, dp seems to find me thrashing about like a um big fat thrashing thing (where is my brain?!) quite hilarious Thats when he's not just sleeping through it completely oblivious.
Actually I do laugh too sometimes once its stopped, I can see that i must look abit ridiculous but its not funny whilst its happening, only after!

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 12/03/2007 21:07

1b3, pmsl at the magic sperm!

Maveta, glad you are feeling ok again after the pork cracklings!

Katy, your mexican sounded yummy!

Off to lie on the sofa now. May not be back.
If not, sleep well all and see you in the morning. xxxx

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 21:13

Yes, me too, 9pm has become the new bedtime.
Maybe I'm trying to sleep now to make up in advance for what I'm going to miss
Goodnight xx

WestCountryLass · 12/03/2007 21:15

Pesha, must be a nightmare with a daugter (have one of my own but shes not had nits!). DS has short hait and we did clipper it off one time, can't really do that to a girl!

Maveta, yes not long now, I will try and mention it in every message to get on everyones wick! Infact, according to Babyzone only 19 days to go

Ellieump · 12/03/2007 21:18

you do miss me then
tho i am slightly suspicious that it's just as you're needing a new thread

i'm ok really, quite down so haven't been online, sometimes sympathy just makes you feel worse IYSWIM and couldn't pretend to be ok anymore

Katy44 · 12/03/2007 21:26

Was just lurking before bed
Without wanting to be sympathetic , what's wrong?
Sorry if I've missed something, I've been going for DAYS without MN and it's so hard to catch up the in between stuff

OP posts:
Katy44 · 12/03/2007 21:26

Oh yeah, and a new thread would be lovely thanks, earn your keep!

OP posts:
WestCountryLass · 12/03/2007 21:27

Ellieump, i'm not sure what is wrong? If you have mentioned it here then I have not been paying attention

Sexonslightlypuffylegs · 12/03/2007 21:30

Hi Ellie, is it Stephen?
Hugs to you for whatever is up.

Really off to bed now. Didn't get as far as the sofa, as had yet another load of washing to take out of the machine. Dh still lying there like a Lord. Ooooh, I bashed the keyboard hard when I typed that!!
