slight change from the one i had planned but figured we'll only truly be hard-boiled once we're overdue!

Ah I see - have read back a couple of posts!

octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 20:41

shit no way - under an hour - was it traumatic or a breeze and did you know how far on you were? Last time I went in at 1cm as decided needed pain relief - at about 3am - but hey did keep me in and put us in a private room so dh could stay - was 3cm in the morning.

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 20:41

so only on here on my days off

Emmymummy · 01/03/2007 20:41

Ah yes, have to refrain when dh is here. He just says "what do you lot talk about?". When I try to explain he is just dumbfounded. He just doesn't get it!

flumppootle · 01/03/2007 20:44

My dh shakes his head too.

Octo, I had a fair idea. Tried to put my trousers on at home and couldn't because I needed to push Didn't tell dh just asked him to take me to the hospital.
Felt like the longest car journey of my life!

Tili · 01/03/2007 20:46

octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 20:47

Friend of mine went to hospital with no knickers on and bum in air on back seat to stop her pushing! Imagine .... the shame!

flumppootle · 01/03/2007 20:48

Eddas · 01/03/2007 20:52

Don't think they make tapes long enough for dd's labour

at the speed and very flump, although i am aware quick isn't always good.

Emmy, sounds good, not sure it'll be big enought though unless it's mega huge family sized lol

Ange, nearly finished the ice cream, mmmm mint choc chip!!!(actually half way through the tub but that's far enough or i'll be sick)!!

flumppootle · 01/03/2007 20:52

That is SO cute

octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 20:53

aahhh cute tshirts - my boys were asking if they could buy the baby a present today - thought maybe a soft toy or painting a plate or something to say welcome - need to think about it!

Someone mentioned earlier they were 1/5th engaged - so am I - well it says 4/5th palpable in my notes so assume it means that.

Katy44 · 01/03/2007 20:53

Is it normal to cry at a picture of a t shirt at 32 weeks?

octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 20:55

Have finished my tub of ice cream too - Marshfield Farm Blackberry Beauty - oh bugger forgot about the seeds thing

Eddas · 01/03/2007 20:55

Ellie, my friend was going to buy dd one with i'm the big sister and her name on it. They sent the wrong name, Georgina not Georgia and then told her thy didn't have Georgia in the right size. She's now getting a nurses outfit which dd will probably prefer anyway!!

We've got dd a little mermaid dvd and will get her happy feet too if baby isn't here by 26t March which is when i think it somes out

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 20:55

for you katy, yes i'd say so

Evening girls, just about managed to keep up with the nightly madness that seems to have descended as scheduled! Thanks for the advice re. bras.. will have a look around and put in a varied order with my sisters nearer the time.

Just had lovely bbq with my parents and dh. Well, the food was great but was getting more and more stressed out just being around the overstimulation which is interaction with my parents so dh bundled me off home. Now chilled on the sofa and off to watch Without Trace with dh.

Hope you all have peaceful restful and lovely dreamfilled nights x

octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 20:56

OOh took mine to see Happy Feet - would make a good pressie from baby to them!

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 20:57

have you seen happy feet?

OP posts:
octopussyintummy · 01/03/2007 20:58

Yes

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 20:58

matthew has stinking cold, my bro saw him earlier and asked if he'd been smoking dope
so don't want to know how my 16 yr old bro knows what someone looks like after that

Off to take my flower waters - back in a minute!

Ellieump · 01/03/2007 20:59

Lovely gifts for the brother and sisters to be Ellie and Eddas, not good getting the wrong name though.
We haven't thought about that yet

Eddas the speed was a bit of a shock. The only thing that I really remember is that in the car just as we got to the hopsital we passed a field. In the field was a big horse with the most enormous..willy! I said to dh " oh this one must be a boy, look at that"
LOL the things that we do in labour
