slight change from the one i had planned but figured we'll only truly be hard-boiled once we're overdue!

Come on, where is everyone? Have been away for 48 hours - can't believe you're all gone as soon as I get back!!

Ellieump · 03/03/2007 18:09

i've been away too katy and no one noticed

i've got the cold/flu/cough thing that's going round, matthew is just recovering

Ellie - I noticed, I promise! I don't like to mention any more as I think I'm getting a reputation as an online stalker I mentioned CFK as I think she's been gone for ages!
Hope you're feeling better soon x

As in, I noticed when I was reading today that you hadn't been on much over the weekend.

Katy44 · 03/03/2007 18:23

I know ... hehehe (scary stalker laugh)

Is anyone going to be around tonight? I fancy making up my MN hours.

mammyjo · 03/03/2007 18:33

Dont think I have eaten anything untoward but do still feel sickly now so maybe I do have a bug. Crap.

Shit, think i have over done it and keep getting waves of pain in lower abdomen and back. And a big fat baby wriggling around inside me like a nutter aint exactly helping! Am i right in thinking that with braxton hicks your tummy goes hard? Does it have to go hard or can you just get the pain without the tensing? Never had BH with the other 2 and not sure if i have been this time or not as i get lots of pains but nothing happens to my tummy!

OW OW OW!!!

DP today before going to football said to me 'You're not going to calf down today are you?'!! What am i a fucking cow?!? Said actually yes i would now, just out of spite!! Am definitely going to try and go into labour on a saturday so he has to miss football! Not sure how im going to do that mind!

Mammyjo - very exciting to think one of our babies could be on its way soon!! As long as its someone elses and not mine !!

Um...

Oh yes i wash all baby clothes before use and with 1st baby i ironed them all too, last time i ever did that!

Agree with avent breast pump being useless, could never get more than half an oz out if that. But then i never had alot of milk anyway and have amazing non leak boobs so could have been me rather than the pump!

I actually liked the disposable pants, well not liked as such but found them useful and handy that you can literally just rip them off and be done with them.

Yes my MS is def coming back again and i only stopped throwing up 7 weeks ago Still only 6 weeks till i can enjoy food again - yay!! And can have pate and brie and peanuts and alcohol!! Cant wait! Have a mini bottle of champagne my sister got me for xmas that i may well stick in my hospital bag!

Cant remember anything else and still havent caught up on yesterday

Katy44 · 03/03/2007 18:55

peanuts. I can't wait.
We have a bottle of champagne for after the birth - I need a list for when I go into labour - top of that list will be put champagne in fridge!

Katy44 · 03/03/2007 18:57

Just read that properly (after being drawn to peanuts)
Have you been running around today? I've been getting weird pains too - not sure if they're just the baby wiggling in an awkward position, or BHs. Can't suggest anything I'm afraid

Pesha · 03/03/2007 19:08

And not just ordinary peanuts but honey roast and dry roast and snickers and peanut butter...oooh i cant wait. Oh shit can i eat peanuts if i breast feeding? Cant remember now, oh bugger someone please tell me i can, pretty please!!

Have had major sort out of my room ready for when dp moves and finished decorating dds bedroom finally which did involve moving furniture so yeah think its that. Dp just texted though and has told me to order pizza which def sounds like a good idea to me and means i can just sit on my arse all night! Off to find dominoes now!!

Katy44 · 03/03/2007 19:22

I've wondered that but haven't asked as will be too miserable if I can't!
Enjoy your pizza!

mammyjo · 03/03/2007 19:29

Glad I am not the only one feeling nauseated (not that I wish it on anyone) but is reassuring to know its not just me. Pesha, enjoy your pizza, I adore dominos but its damn expensive. I like the dips you get for the crust - yum!

In a way I do hope my baby is on its way but then again I still have four weeks left so do I really want it to come a month early - not really. Knowing my luck I will go over my dates!

WestCountryLass · 03/03/2007 19:30

Braxton Hicks

Personally mine are a bit painful, especially if I have overdone it, but once I rest they ease up.

Pesha · 03/03/2007 19:32

Have to wait 50 mins for it to be delivered Am starving

And have a feeling we cant eat them but i think it depends on family history of allergies and stuff and its a bit of personal judgement thing. Ive forgotten so much about babies, ds is only 3.7 but it seems like forever ago! Was buying baby lotion the other day cos i know i need that for cleaning babys bottom but couldnt remember if i needed baby bath and baby shampoo for newborn babies. I know i didnt use much shampoo with ds cos i still had half a bottle sitting in bathroom for ages so used it for washing the dog in the end Im just hoping it will all come back to me when I have my baby and at least I have mumsnet to turn to this time!!

mammyjo · 03/03/2007 19:34

Know the feeling, I have got some stuff prepared but have a weird feeling that I am missing something vital! Seems like forever ago that ds was so tiny. He is four in May so it is a long time ago I suppose.

Pesha · 03/03/2007 19:40

Mammyjo it is expensive and cos im so hungry i think ive ordered more than we'll eat but sod it!! And i love their sticky dippers!
Dont want to worry you but cant sickness be a sign of early labour? Could be one of a hundred other things too tho so prob nothing to worry about and 4 weeks early isnt that early really if it did come now or soon. isnt anything after 37 weeks considered on time pretty much anyway or have i made that up?! Im just jealous cos ive had enough and i just want it out!! Although not quite yet cos all baby stuff is still in loft. Except pushchair, have bought a lovely shiny brand new XTS pushchair which is sat in hall getting the way at the mo!!
