Sorry to hear that holly I think once is bad enough but 3 times must be really hard. I don't think they are very understanding about how you feel after a miscarriage. I really just want reassurance that things are progressing I know it can still go wrong but it drives you crazy this waiting and not knowing.

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 16:22

Thank you Charlie. Yh it was pretty tough. We took a few months "off". My last loss was Feb last year (cp/earlymc) stopped in June ish. Only started trying again properly this month! All a bit of a shock really. Just have to hope this ones a sticky bean this time.

My brain still can't work out why I'm writing on pregnancy threads. I'm sure it'll hit me soon Grin

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 16:27

Kirsty Yh some docs aren't that great but after my late mmc June 15 I had an amazing team around me. My next mmc we found out at the scan and the sonographer cried with me! I think I was more worried about her tbh lol we've lost 5 in total but I have 3 strapping healthy lads from my XH who keep me going and hopefully me and my dp will finally get our first LO together in October! Smile

greentreeseverywhere · 04/02/2017 16:56

hi....I wanted to pop in but won't be saying much as it's still early days and I don't want to get to excited after some heartbreaking losses. I also have some health issues which are being investigated so all has come as a bit of a shock!!! we talked about stopping trying last week while we sort stuff out and then bfp this morning!!!! I am a so happy. so nervous. so scared. ànd a bit over emotional!!! love reading everyone's stories so far and il pop back hopefully in a months time Grin

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 17:08

Hi Green congrats! I know exactly how you feel! Hopefully we'll "meet" again soon fx hun Smile

Lamaitresse · 04/02/2017 18:04

Hi everyone, another one with a due date of 10th October here 😊 Found out last weekend but have been in shock really, happy shock though!
We have a very difficult history, got 2 beautiful dc already, but this is pregnancy number 13, not sure if that's lucky or not 🙈
Like green I'll hopefully pop back in in a few weeks, but will be lurking steadily with fingers crossed for us all 😄

Bubbles225 · 04/02/2017 18:33

Its so lovely to hear positive news from everyone Smile fingers crossed for us all! How's everyone's symptoms? I've cried twice this week... Once because I bought the wrong pizza & today watching location! I'm not normally a crier!

rosalyn44 · 04/02/2017 19:32

I love a good cry normally @bubbles225 so I can't tell if I'm emotional or not....I'm sure I will e crying at the Voice and the sob stories later Grin

tammie49 · 04/02/2017 19:36

Hey!! Can I jump aboard. Got my bfp this morning and I'm looking at an EDD around October 8th.

Trytowin · 04/02/2017 19:55

Welcome everyone we are getting quite a crew!

I have horrible period type pains and boobs that hurt so much I want to cry in fact I did sniffle a lot when I got up to the loo at insane o clock this morning. Gravity was is agony

rosalyn44 · 04/02/2017 19:55

Congrats tammie49 ;) I'm either 9th or 10th. I am usually 29 day cycle then last two were 31 days then 30 days - do I take 30 as that was my last cycle....for the purposes of estimating due date?

tammie49 · 04/02/2017 19:59

I'd go with 30. It'll only be a slight difference anyway.
This is DC2 for me. DS is 13 months and it's come as a bit of a shock.

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 20:16

Congrats Tammie, hi Rosalyn. Looks like 9th/10th is going to be quite busy Smile

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 20:18

Sorry that looks a bit rude Blushobviously congrats to everyone here! It's just hard to keep up with who are new x

MrsCharlieD · 04/02/2017 20:24

Try I'm exactly the same. Ds elbowed me when we were playing earlier and it was agony! Had cramping on and off all day and a little nausea. I promised myself I wouldn't do any shopping but I've just ordered a newborn insert for my tula sling and added a sleepyhea to my JL nursery list 🙊🙊

Babycarmen · 04/02/2017 21:08

Had a niggling stitch like feeling on low left side all day.
Must admit it has worried me a little but I'm sure I had the same with DD. No bleeding or spotting though.

Nimisha · 04/02/2017 21:15

Sore boobs here to with waves of nausea. I'm a bit snappy today too. My cramps have been in the middle or either side, varying a bit. I also got up the times in the night last night, I hope that doesn't continue!

tammie49 · 04/02/2017 21:22

When I was last pregnant I had what I can only assume was an implantation bleed for 2 days and thought I'd had my period.
I'm still in shock here.

MrsCharlieD · 04/02/2017 21:35

Me too tammie but nothing this time. I feel like this pregnancy is going to last forever. October is soooo long away!

Twinklelittlestar1 · 04/02/2017 23:25

Hi everyone. Mine has been a very sad journey so far. I lost my beautiful little girl last September (my first child) when I was 31 weeks pregnant. We were heartbroken but knew that we had to rebuild and I find myself here with a bfp this morning. I'm so happy to be pregnant again but I know this will be a very nerve-wracking journey. I wasn't sure I'd want to join a group again as I thought my whole pregnancy experience may be tarnished this time but I'm determined to have some sense of normality and to try to enjoy this pregnancy as much as possible however long it may last. Congratulations and best wishes to you all x

HollyMay84 · 04/02/2017 23:38

Oh my goodness Twinkle I'm sorry for your loss. Congrats for your BFP this morning. I hope this little bean sticks for you and you have an uneventfully but happy and healthy 9 months Smile

BrioLover · 04/02/2017 23:55

POAS yesterday and should be due early October, maybe 8th. Had a MMC at 10.4 before Christmas so just taking it quietly...

DaisyFranceLynch · 05/02/2017 00:04

@NotMyPenguin - when I went to the FMC last time I was given the option of whether find out the gender. For me it was really nice to know at 12 weeks (it made the scan quite magical) but I know other people prefer the surprise of finding out on the day.

Re: symptoms - I have a really bad cold (which I haven't had since I was last pregnant). I'm getting period-like cramps and want to eat carbs all the time! Also much more gassy than usual Blushwhich is one of the symptoms I'd managed to forget from last time.

Staying with friends this weekend. Lunch was smoked salmon and charcuterie and the starter for dinner was pâté. I ate it all (since last time my friends found out at five weeks when I got really anxious about eating smoked salmon, and this time I want to keep it a secret for longer - combined with my not drinking I thought my refusal to eat anything would give the game away) but now feel a bit guilty.

DaisyFranceLynch · 05/02/2017 00:07

Just checked and apparently charcuterie and smoked salmon are now okay. I'm sure they weren't last time. Pâté is still on the banned list (risk of listeriosis) but hopefully it should be fine.

powerpuffer · 05/02/2017 00:38

Has anyone got any symptoms yet? I've got sore boobs, weeing a little more frequently and some cramps. Please tell me I'm normal! Grin
