angelicjen so sorry for your loss, good luck for the future xxxx
And good luck to everyone else's beans who are still holding on, keep us updated with any news xx
Still no symptoms here, downing the coffee still! Probably for the best though, just about to start at long shift in a&e Hmm

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 16/02/2017 10:56

Juniper a lot of my early losses went like that on the tests, line would start to progress but would then weaken again. I have found the most reliable way to use a FRER is to get up and have a wee at 6am (that's when our house gets up) and then drink nothing at all all morning and then have another wee in a pot at 10am or later if you can hold it longer, urine will be a decent concentration then and you will get an accurate result. My FMU is always too dilute. In the early days diluted urine can really affect how the lines progress. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm so so sorry Jen.

Good luck Chintaria.

I'm sat in gp's surgery trying to get anti sickness meds prescribed as been sent home from work. I'm constantly dry heaving with a few episodes of actual vomiting a day. I can't even function properly and broke down today. Apparently my gp don't give out meds anymore but they've booked me an apt so the dr can give me advice - if he tells me to try ginger I might just punch him.

Emberblu · 16/02/2017 11:08

So sorry angelicjen Flowers look after yourself x

UndersecretaryofWhimsy · 16/02/2017 11:17

Tinysalmon try not to stress about stress. Stress might stop you ovulating but once baby is bedded in the research shows it won't dislodge it, and it would have to be really severe stress to affect the foetus. Think about the stress our cavewoman ancestors would have been under daily - if stress could end pregnancies the human race would never have continued :)

TinySalmon · 16/02/2017 11:39

Ahh thanks undersecretary! xx

Kirsty8333 · 16/02/2017 11:42

So sorry angelicjen xx

I've been to the gp this morning to ask about an early scan. He wasn't keen at first but when I explained how anxious I am he phoned the epu. They will send out an early scan in the post so fingers crossed I get one next week or the week after.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 16/02/2017 11:44

I'm liking that info re stress. I am trying so hard to stay calm with my boys when they play up/fight which happens most days because they are young and competitive and very spirited lol but it's hard when you talk and they don't listen and you raise your voice and they still don't listen, sometimes it's only shouting that works and I've been worrying about stress and working myself up over it! Monday's scan can't come soon enough to know implanatatiom is in the right place and that all is looking on track, and if I can get a 3+ on a digital next week that would make me feel on top of the world after my history!

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 16/02/2017 11:46

*implantation (excuse horrific typo!!)

Cath1212 · 16/02/2017 11:49

So sorry to hear about some losses since I have last been on the board, I hope you are taking care of your selves.

I have just got back from a break in Paris - which was lovely - but missed the wine and avoiding certain foods was a pain as I dont eat meat and they seem to add goats cheese to everything!!

I am 6 weeks today and feel a bit worried as really dont have any symptoms, I know that may seem lucky as I know some of you are really suffering, but kind of want something to know it is happening!! Is anyone else the same?

JanuaryJuniper · 16/02/2017 11:50

Is it terrible that I am jealous of other people's sickness I just want some strong symptoms (I'm sure those of you who are sick would love to pass it on to me instead)

I hate these early days of pregnancy, after previous losses I just can't enjoy it and it just DRAGS!

I have an appointment in the epu of March 7th if I make it that far.

Lovechild2016 · 16/02/2017 12:22

Really hope all goes well for those having scans today Flowers

I have got a 3+ on CB today which should be on track.

Having a little bit of nausea but it's more that kind of hungry feeling which you feel like you will be sick of you don't eat soon not at all like my travel sickness or migraine nausea. Maybe my boobs are a bit fuller.. Definitely needing to pee more often. Maybe I'm just not going to get strong symptoms???

Sorry for those that are struggling with strong symptoms and finding it hard to function. I was so nervous that was going to be me and it put me off ttc!

Lamaitresse · 16/02/2017 12:27

Well it's not great news from me - ultrasound showed an empty sac. The doctor said it could be a miscarriage or it could just be too early (am 6+2) but what with my lack of sickness I am pretty sure about what's going on. Got a repeat scan next Fri morning although had to haggle them down from waiting 2 weeks 😱

Tiny as above, stress shouldn't affect the baby - when I was pg in 2010 I only found out three days after my mum died. Can't imagine many more stressful situations than that and I didn't miscarry.

Love great re 3+, it's such a relief isn't it!

Lovechild2016 · 16/02/2017 13:11

Aaaww chintaria how stressful for you and DP. Really sorry it wasn't a reassuring scan. I can totally understand your worry as well with no sickness. Thinking of you for this next week of limbo. Xxx

TinySalmon · 16/02/2017 13:49

@chintaria shit :( I'm really sorry to hear about your scan. There's no possibility you could have ovulated later than expected this month?

I know the next week is going to feel like 6 months! Sending you lots of good vibes ❤️

powerpuffer · 16/02/2017 14:29

I'm so sorry to those with bad news recently. Be kind to yourselves.

punkpuffin · 16/02/2017 14:39

I'm so sorry jen take care of yourself

chintaria was it definetly empty? With ds1 I was told there was nothing, I was devastated. Then they scanned a few weeks later and there he was all healthy and strong. Please look after yourself.

DrMum83 · 16/02/2017 15:06

Hi everyone, mind if I join?

I'm 4+3 - I got my bfp very early at 8dpo and have been tracking progression as I've had 3mcs and a chemical in the past. I have a 2yo dad. My bathroom window ledge is awash of pee stained frers, all neurotically labeled. Progression is looking really good compared to previous failed pregnancies so I'm hoping so much for a sticky one! My edd is 23rd Oct.
I've been having occ rushes of nausea but nothing to write home about and got sore side boobs, I'm waking at 5am and not able to get back.
I'm also a nervous wreck.

Sorry to the ladies with bad news recently. I hope life is kinder to you I'm the next few months.

DrMum83 · 16/02/2017 15:07

*2 yo dd!

mummabubs · 16/02/2017 15:59

Some good thoughts please ladies. I'm 7+2, had my first midwife appointment this morning and booked my scan and have now started bleeding this afternoon. Yesterday I had a very small amount of brown blood which I attributed to having sex the night before and the midwife this morning said she wasn't concerned about that. However this afternoon I've suddenly got slightly heavier bleeding that is definitely more red. I've been off work sick with a cold-y virus-y thing for the past 3 days and I'm now sat at home waiting for a GP to call me back and trying to reassure myself that sometimes this doesn't mean the end of the journey. (I've got no cramps or pains, 'just' the bleed). Fingers crossed that they can refer me to our EPU (ours doesn't accept walk-ins, you have to be referred first).

DrMum83 · 16/02/2017 16:08

mummabubs sorry to hear you're going through this.
Bleeding, however is ridiculously common in early pregnancy and in the absence of cramps/loss of clots, I think the likeliest thing is this is implantation spotting.
I hope the gp can get you in for a reassurance scan soon to set your mind at ease Flowers

mummabubs · 16/02/2017 16:14

Thanks DrMum. A lovely GP has called back and said he's booked me in to EPU tomorrow morning, if it gets worse or I get cramps I'll need to call out of hours to be admitted this evening. Still scary stuff but he was really reassuring and friendly, a world apart from my last GP so at least that's one positive to come out of today!

DrMum83 · 16/02/2017 16:18

Oh that's good then! Not long to wait which is a relief I'm sure! Fx'd for the morning, I'm sure you'll see a lovely little heartbeat.
How are you feeling? Have you had much nausea?

Starfish83 · 16/02/2017 16:24

Chintaria, sorry to hear that your scan has not offered a clearer, mote positive result. Hope that you're doing OK and have everything crossed for you.

Mummabubs, hope that everything's alright for you tomorrow morning. Do let us know how you get on.

Welcome, newbies!

⭐️ xx

mummabubs · 16/02/2017 16:27

Thanks starfish :)

No nausea apart from whilst I've had the lurgy DrMum, although my mum was never nauseous when she had any of her 3 so maybe I've been a lucky one. It's a bit heavier that what I'd expect implantation bleeding to look like, but Dr seemed to think that as long as I don't get tummy pains to go with it things might not be dire just yet. 11:20 tomorrow seems really soon on one hand and like an eternity on the other. Not much sleep tonight for me I'm guessing :/
