I'm so glad to hear that, presh! I was thinking of you today. I'm in the same position as dancing - 'what will be will be' were the exact words my husband used, too. I think maybe men are just less likely to understand the need to know!

@dinosaurkisses: I'll be going to Holles St. too. I have no real idea of how it all works, this is my first! We're going to Rome for the weekend, it was timed to coincide with fertile wk and now it's coinciding with no bloody wine 😂 I'm going to book into Holles St when we get back next week.

I totally just assumed we would get a 12 wk scan. That's crap! There's absolutely no way I'll be able to last until 20 weeks. It's going to kill me to get through the next 7 weeks. Seems like a million years since I found out I'm pregnant and it's only been 5 days!!

Got a definite positive this morning after being fairly certain for a couple of days.

I already have a 14month old so this is my second time through! I think my due date is about the 28th October.

Tried again to hint at the idea of private scan last night. No bite! I can understand his pov, as I don't think there's anything we can do either way, I guess just if something's going to go wrong I'd rather know asap. Oh well, guess it's not going to happen. Bring on 31st March.

I was thinking about a private scan as they are only about £70 in my area. What worries me is that they have said it might be internal scanning which scares the life out of me! Would that be the same at around 8 weeks do we think?

Sadly this pregnancy came to end yesterday so I'll be saying goodbye to this thread.

Hello Ladies, I'm 4+1 today and due on October 25th! Totally unexpected pregnancy as I have pcos and never ovulate naturally it took 4 years, miscarriages and clomid to conceive by dd!

We are very excited. I just stopped breastfeeding before Christmas and only had one period since.

I'm a bit worried today as this mornings test was not as dark a yesterday's, could you please take a look and tell me what you think. The tests are from this morning, yesterday morning and Tuesday morning.
I would be so sad to loose it.

Congratulations juniper I wouldn't worry too much about the colour of line it can depend how concentrated your urine is when you poas. Xx

Well I can safely say I don't recommend going on a training course when you're in early pregnancy! I spent the last 2 days trying not to be sick and battling to concentrate!
That constant sicky feeling is really annoying now!

Congrats Juniper but try not to worry about the line being a bit lighter - as love said it can depend on the concentration of your wee so can easily differ... A line is a line right?!

I'm just sat waiting for my scan absolutely wetting myself. Am terrified it's going to be bad news as I just don't feel sick and last time by this stage I was already in hospital as was so poorly. Cannot see how this is going to be good news 😞

Well I'm currently sat in the gp surgery waiting for a medication review and the guy in front of me smells strongly of fags and stale urine. I'm trying to be polite and brave it out (mainly because there are no other seats) but all I want to do is hurl!!!

@Chintaria me too! Gearing myself up for bad news all the time.

I've been beyond stressed the last few days - a lot to do with DP driving me insane - and don't think so much stress is good for a growing little bean. I'm worried I've damaged my nice uterine environment with the stress I've been putting on my body and baby wants out ☹️

All good. Change of medications, been given a gel and aspirin to help prevent miscarriage and a referral to gynaecology due to complex medical history. Here's hoping it all works and bean sticks around like!!
