Hi guys! Please can I join too?! EDD 20 Oct according to ovia.
No nausea yet but sore boobs and a metallic taste in my mouth for the past week!
This is the first time I have been pregnant and it feels so weird! Anyone told anyone other than DH yet? X

Lamaitresse · 14/02/2017 20:12

Asilikeit did you have sickness last time? I have managed to convince myself today that it's all going pear shaped - I've had hyperemisis 5 times and last was so bad that I was admitted to hospital for two weeks at 6 weeks exactly. Am 6 weeks today and only got mildly uncomfortable indigestion... Got lots of other symptoms, but feels so weird to be pregnant and be functioning 😁 Scan on Thurs so will hopefully know more then. Warned dh this evening so he's feeling rather sad 😞

MrsCharlieD · 14/02/2017 20:12

Sore boobs and more cramps today. Also unfortunately constipation which delightful. Welcome to all the newcomers! Days are still dragging here and nothing much else to report x

Lovechild2016 · 14/02/2017 20:17

omg feeling the constipation pain. I've got an uncomfortable stomach and not sure if it's crampy pelvic pain or constipation! Really want to get an early scan but travelling to USA when I'm 7 weeks. Do you think I could get a scan out there? Probs bad idea to be honest though as very little I would be able to do if anything had gone wrong! X

abcdemma · 14/02/2017 20:18

Think I'll pop to docs tomorrow anyway, at best they'll book me in and at worst they'll send me away for a couple of weeks! Bought a Christmas babygrow today! It was £1.50 though so I couldn't leave it haha.
We've told our parents and sibling but I want to wait a bit before close friends & extended family know.

Fingerscrossed247 · 14/02/2017 20:25

I'm so pleased to read that others aren't feeling sick either. I was physically sick for the first 20 weeks with my daughter and nothing so far - I've also managed to convince myself, and tell my dh, that I don't think I'm pregnant anymore 😔 I am still breastfeeding my 17mo so my husband has suggested it could be that. I already have an appointment for Friday which I booked a couple of weeks ago as I was so tired and dizzy with lots of head rushes. So yes, I'm wishing for nausea and sickness!!! 😂

Yellowstarred · 14/02/2017 20:41

Hello ladies. Have been lurking on the conception boards but now that I'm up the duff, I thought I'd join in! EDD is 18th October, which is two days after my birthday. Guess I'll have to get used to sharing :)

Am currently wavering between being convinced that I'm not pregnant (despite two positive tests) and being super excited. Had symptoms all last wk - cramps just like my period was coming, then sore boobs. But now almost no symptoms ...which is not good for the anxiety levels!

I'm in Dublin. Anyone else?

Fingers and toes crossed for a healthy 9 mths and lovely October babies!

greentreeseverywhere · 14/02/2017 20:56

has anyone got any constipation relief tips?!!!! I'm on slimming world so don't normally have a problem with that department!!!

DebsandScott · 14/02/2017 20:58

Found out at the weekend I'm expecting my first (luckily on cycle 1!) and glad to see a thread for us!
I have felt ropey since Friday, stomach feels crampy and nausea starting......

DancingUnicorn · 14/02/2017 21:01

Debs I was lucky enough to get my bfp on cycle 1 too! I'm still in shock... definitely didn't expect it so quickly!

charmanar · 14/02/2017 21:43

Glad everyone is as mad as me with all the worry about lack of symptoms. I keep forgetting that last time I didn't know I was pregnant until 6 weeks in. Is anyone going to get an early scan?

powerpuffer · 14/02/2017 21:46

yellowstarred I'm in Dublin in a few weeks, very excited to visit your beautiful city!

I'm the opposite to most of you - I have diarrhea every morning which isn't much fun! It's amazing how differently our bodies react to pregnancy hormones!

Lovechild2016 · 14/02/2017 21:47

yellowstarred my DH bday is 16th oct too and my EDD 19th so he might also have to share! I think the symptoms early on do seem to be a bit up and down. It definitely doesn't feel real.

greentrees I resorted to getting some movicol from boots today as constipation was so bad!- it seems to have worked already although that might just be coincidence. I'd recommend prune juice too if you want to try natural remedies first. Congrats debs on your first cycle BFP, you too dancing you are both obviously very fertile. This was my 4th cycle but for various reasons not sure the first 3 properly counted so also definitely feeling very lucky too and hoping all goes smoothly.

Lovechild2016 · 14/02/2017 21:50

charmana my DH keeps telling me to relax and enjoy it but inside I'm going nuts freaking out and symptoms spotting (or symptom absence spotting more like). Definitely agree great to have some like minded people to sound off to.

doomkittycleo · 14/02/2017 21:55

It's reassuring to hear other people are feeling crampy too. I keep thinking af is coming, but nothing happens. No nausea yet, but sore boobs on and off.

Fingerscrossed247 · 14/02/2017 22:13

I've had some cramps which I try to tell myself is good, though the hunger and tiredness don't seem as bad (which I try to tell myself is because of half term) and I've been quite burpy which I was last time too. It's been a little sore when my dd has latched today but she's got her first canine coming through.... I hate how we have to wait 3 months, it feels so barbaric!!
I hope you all continue to have symptoms!

PlayOnWurtz · 14/02/2017 23:05

The cramps and the constant peeing are driving me mad!!! My dc are pre-teens so it's been a long time since I did this and I don't remember having such annoying symptoms so early on at any point in any pregnancy!

abcdemma · 14/02/2017 23:08

No nausea here either, boob soreness also gone down. Just cramps which I do remember with DS. I also lost a lot of weight last time cause I was off my food - not had that problem yet but here's hoping Cake

punkpuffin · 14/02/2017 23:09

I'm so tired today, but I'm waiting up as dh had been at work so I want to spend a little bit of Time with him.

TinySalmon · 15/02/2017 05:38

I'm awake! Oh god why am I awake?! I know PP were talking up thread about falling asleep with no problem but waking up early. This has been happening last few nights and it's driving me mad! I'm fortunate I don't work and can nap during the day but seriously... 5:30am Confused there's nothing to do except go to the 24hour McDonalds for a hash brown

DebsandScott · 15/02/2017 07:37

I couldn't sleep last night either! I'm either too hot or too cold and brain too active. Now standing on train platform waiting to go to work. It's going to be a LONG day!!

Presh88 · 15/02/2017 07:39

Same here - fell asleep by 9 then wide awake since 2.30 Sad hope everyone's day goes nice and quickly.
7+4 private scan for me later! Very nervous really hoping everything's ok, will update later

SeatOfMyPants · 15/02/2017 07:40

I'm sorry to come on here and moan.

Seeking reassurance really. I know others are saying lack of symptoms is making them worry so hopefully This is just usual - tbh it was 6 years ago since I was pregnant (viable pregnancy) and I may have forgotten what this v early stage is like.

No idea really when I ov'd - cv digital smiley on day 8, but had implantation bleed last thurs/Friday (cd24-6) though I'd had jabbing pains all week. Negative tests unt Sunday when the dig put me at 1-2 weeks. Tested this morning on fmu (which was clear, odd) and still getting that reading. Boobs were noticeably bigger at the weekend and tender. Now almost deflated

God, my anxiety is tangible isn't it. My pregnancy with DS was so full on from the start. And when I had no symptoms last August everyone kept telling me that all pregnancies were different - but I ended up miscarrying in September: no growth past 5 weeks, so I had been 'right'.

Just wishing for something that isn't just tenderness in the pelvis area and a touch of insomnia.

SeatOfMyPants · 15/02/2017 07:40

Good luck with the scan presh88!

asilikeit · 15/02/2017 07:56

Another rubbish sleep here too! Absolutely exhausted before I have even got out of bed!

Someone asked if I had sickness in my last pregnancy- yes awfully. Sickness, fainting, ketones in urine at every water check with midwife. This time I feel a bit off if I'm
Hungry but I can't remember if my sickness didn't start till a bit later. I'm also wondering if the situation now helps- we are now married with a home etc etc and when we had our 5 yr old we found out before we had even been together a year and I was only 25 or so and felt very young still. A lot more nerves last time maybe?

Good luck for scan today!
