I got a 2-3 on clearblue digital yesterday when I was 4+1 based on first ovulation, which is a big achievement for my body, as my many MC's have never got hcg high enough for 2-3! Feel like maybe just maybe the pred along with everything else could make this BFP the one!!

So have had a look and technically my EDD could be 22nd or 23rd Oct, but because I will have to have a CS, i could be looking at Friday 13th or Monday 16th as I don't think they do ELCS here at a weekend.

FYI for anyone who isn't aware, but pregnant women are at risk of infection or miscarriage if you go near animals that are giving birth or have recently done so, like cows/goats/lambs, as there will be lots of lambing days, we have a farm near us open all this weekend and we would have been going with our boys, but we are staying away now as I don't want to risk anything!

Fingerscrossed you can't pm people on here from the mobile app (that I've found!) but it is straight forward from a web browser. Hope you figure out how to do it!

Well I nearly threw up this morning, which has reassured me a bit although worrued me that i feel this crap at only 4+3! Hate the part of pregnancy where the better you feel the more you worry!
Off to work clutching my ginger tea... ugh.

Undersecretary I totally get you there - I was sick for 20 weeks with my daughter and permanently nauseous so if I don't start being ill real soon I'm going to freak out! I actually am already to be honest as I know this stage is so delicate. Or it could be a boy 😉 I was also at a farm yesterday and there were some one day old lambs so that's stressing me out now...!

Is anyone else having Problems staying asleep? I'm falling asleep with no bother at all, I'm exhausted , but the last 3 nights I have been awake from about 2-5.30

What is team yellow?

Sex of the baby. So some of us will be firmly Team Yellow up until we give birth but some will find out the sex before so we can see who is expecting a girl (Team Pink) and who is expecting a boy (Team Blue). Then when we all give birth we have a running tally of which 'team' is leading.

Hello - late to the thread. I found out on Sunday I'm expecting no. 2! According to NHS due due calculators I'm either 4/5 or M/W says I'm 7.5 weeks - going next Wed for our first appnt. So I'm due sometime in October!

I have woken up feeling like ive been hit in the face with nausea ... to make things worse Im spending the next 2 days on a training course ...I cant think of anything worse!

Still waiting to hear back from the midwife ... starting to get frustrated now!

Sorry waps! Hope the nausea passes! I hadn't heard back from midwife yesterday, so contacts again and apparently they post appointment details. So may be similar! Though she did tell me scan date when she replied to my email which was nice! (Although it's AGES away!)

Is anyone else really gassy haha!? Apparently I woke my husband up last night because he thought someone was breaking in but it was me farting I did comment on my 'bump' last night but reckon it was probably trapped wind.... oh dear! Happy Valentine's Day DH

Wow, there's far too much to catch up on! I'm just joining now, edd 22nd October according to dates, exactly 2 years after my LB was due (although he ended up a November baby). I'm se London too - good to hear you can refer straight to kings! No symptoms at the moment, still doesn't feel real... hope everyone well today x

Morning! asilikeit I am having trouble staying asleep too! Fall asleep instantly then wake in the night. Apparently that is a sign! fingerscrossed I have turned into a neurotic person, who is their right mind wishes for nausea!?! I felt quite nauseous yesterday but not so bad today. Not been sick yet and finding eating makes it better when usually if I'm feeling sick I can't stand sight of food. Boobs still feel totally normal. Constipated to high heaven though! This week is dragging already...

No nausea here yet (touch wood) but lots of gas and constipation, waking up once a night really thirsty, having a drink and going straight back to sleep, been quite tired. Had some more AF type pains yesterday, but nothing today so far!

On another note...

I'm my area I can self refer to midwives and bypass the GP. When do you think I just give them a call??

We can self refer in my area too. So that's what I did. I didn't see the point in wasting a gp appt coz I'm not sick and it can probably be better used. But this is my second x

I've self referred too, glitterbubble - my local hospital (Homerton, in case anyone else is near) has an online form to fill in. The GP receptionist I spoke to said there was no need to do it until 8 weeks so I did it yesterday at 7-and-something. Felt a bit late compared to some people on here, but I guess different NHS trusts do things differently.

Hi I've just got my bfp and Edd is 24th. Really nervous as husband and I are so rocky at the moment and have taken many years of infertility and miscarriages to get here. Might need a fair bit of hand holding!!

So... I went to have a little half hour nap at 2:30pm and just woke up (5pm) And I'm STARVING and nauseous because I have an empty stomach. Valentines dinner isn't booked till 9pm (DP works long hours) and I can't wait that long for food but I'm too tired and too nauseous to walk 1/4 mile to the shops 😩😩

Everyone is so organised with their hospital/midwife referrals! I was 10.5 weeks till I got around to my booking-in appointment last time but I'm lazy AF

Welcome @PlayOnWurtz similar boat to you - (unexplained) infertility followed by IVF, followed by a late loss at 20 weeks. Here's to hoping your bean sticks!

Thanks salmon it's less than ideal circumstances tbh but I need to see my gp asap as I'm on a lot of medication and suspect I need to come off most of it!!

DH is asking when I'm going to the docs but I'm not even 3 weeks yet, well 5 weeks officially I suppose, so I feel its too early. I was in a different county last time so I've no idea how these work lol.

Probably best not to leave it as late as I did - shortly after posting above that I'd left it til 8 weeks on the advice of the receptionist, I got a phone call from the a midwife saying that as it was a bit late, there was only one appointment slot and I have to take it. Unfortunately it clashes with an important work meeting so I'll have to come up with an excuse for my boss... Wish I'd gone with my instinct and got in touch a bit sooner!

I'm also full of gas! I burp allllll day! I am absolutely exhausted, my boobs feel like they are about to take off and I can't stay asleep! It was 6 years ago the last time I was pregnant, it feels like I'm doing it for the first time again! Sickness hasn't really kicked in, I feel a bit ropey in the morning if I'm hungry. Lack of sickness is worrying me, that will. I doubt bite me on the bum!

We haven't told our parents yet , should do that soon or they will start asking questions I like a drink
