Hello!!

This is a new wave of grads for those from #TTC1 - Those on the first grade thread are dealing with poonamis and crying babies, while we are still waving our FRER's and wondering if that line is really a figment of our imagination!

Feel free to join in, if you too are embarking on this crazy journey to parenthood!!

Well music that's the cutest little button nose I've ever seen!!!!

Congrats on the scans everyone! Brilliant news that it's all going so well!!!

Nursery about done here, and our Snuzpod arrived yesterday! Just the pram to come now and I'll actually be about prepared for this baby! Although I'm not sure I'm mentally ready!!Confused

Awww such a cute nose Music

Sounds good moose we wallpapered the nursery last weekend and plan to tackle putting the furniture up over two days this weekend. So exciting!

How are you feeling marmite? Getting really close now!

kavanaughkj · 30/03/2017 12:27

Can you ever be mentally ready Moose? I don't think any of us are really and truly prepared for what's ahead. I'd love a Snuzpod - have been dithering between getting one or just getting a Finnish baby box and using the box as the first crib. I think space might be at a premium next to my bed so the box might be more convenient.

That is such a cute little nose, Music. Grin

We'll be running out of space on here soon won't we! Can't believe we've already filled up a thread - Moose, did you want to do the honours for thread #2, or I can try to raise my first thread? hee.

Oh hey, just to say as well, thanks for the positive thoughts ladies - DH has got a job!! He starts Monday, permanent position - the relief is immense and no mistake. We'll have a month being careful with money until his first paycheque comes through but then can get right back on saving. :)

Please kav Go ahead! I don't like the responsibility and I'm not always on here at the moment with our lack of internet!! (Having a quiet day at work today so enjoying a good old browse!) ha ha
Brill news about your DH! You must be so relieved!

Congrats on the scan music that is a very cute button nose!

Great news on DHs job Kav

I'm doing ok thanks MrsG I have been reading the thread but not managing to post, feeling very pregnant and knackered now! I've been keeping abreast of the news though and glad you're all doing well. NS I wanted to say I think hiring a doula sounds like a great idea and really glad it's given you some more confidence for the birth.

I finished work on friday, my last week at work was a bit mental, busy up to the end! Felt a bit shaky/emotional when I walked out on Friday, I guess now it's really hit home that we are having a baby imminently! Now I've finished work it feels a bit like I'm just waiting to have the baby with no other purpose or routine... eek!! First week of mat leave going surprisingly quickly so far, what with pilates, yoga and swimming, getting baby's room more organised, cleaning and sorting and of course meeting up with the NCT girls for coffees and cakes! Going to start on the batch cooking in the next day or so too! Although I do need to get better at putting my feet up for a bit as well DH says!

Just finding its taking me longer to do things because I feel so heavy/bump gets in the way! plus the carpal tunnel in my right hand is doing my head in!! Oh and my feet have now swollen so much I have very limited shoe options!!

Anyway I'm off to my 38 week mw appointment now so got to dash...

How's Fishy?

Exciting about snuzpod Moose!

LovelyFishy · 30/03/2017 14:45

Just popped my head back round the door, hello everyone! Had a speed read of all that I missed, lots of movement and scams which is great to hear! Grin

I'm 33 weeks now and I have such a sore back/hips/pelvis/right side that it's silly! Still able to move about but feel like a grandma.

kavanaughkj · 30/03/2017 16:09

New thread! Grin

Not a tremendously original name but hey, I wanted you all to find your way there. Hope Fishy and Marmite can manage to hobble over ... can't believe I started this thread not even 5 weeks gone and I'm 21+4 now!
