Mooseville · 05/12/2016 18:41

Hello!!

This is a new wave of grads for those from #TTC1 - Those on the first grade thread are dealing with poonamis and crying babies, while we are still waving our FRER's and wondering if that line is really a figment of our imagination!

Feel free to join in, if you too are embarking on this crazy journey to parenthood!!

Nicky so sorry to hear that, keeping everything crossed for you. Flowers

HepKestrel · 27/12/2016 21:49

So sorry Nicky Flowers

Musicgrrl · 27/12/2016 22:14

So so sorry nicky, no-one should have to go through this. You're such a strong lady - your attitude is inspirational and you're right, your body knows what it's doing now so if it is a m/c (which fx it is not) then your next BFP will be just around the corner Flowers

Musicgrrl · 27/12/2016 22:16

Also hep and mouse I meant to say earlier - lovely to hear from you

marmitecheesetoast · 27/12/2016 22:36

Starmist · 28/12/2016 07:34

Sorry Nicky FlowersFlowersFlowers xx

kavanaughkj · 28/12/2016 07:44

:( Hoping against hope they are wrong and you are fine, but if they're not sending hugs and thoughts for you, Nicky. It sounds like you have the right attitude but let others help you out and look after you for a bit - you're allowed to be fragile too. Wishing all the best for you xxx

Mooseville · 28/12/2016 10:22

Sorry nicky Hope you're ok. X

How are you today Nicky? Have been thinking of you x

Nicky883 · 28/12/2016 11:01

Thank you ladies i am not doing so well but at least i am off until next tuesday so i have some time to process this .
Its very difficult as i was ttc for this bfp for so long . The bleeding is not heavy it just made a small brown mark on the pad but i had redblood yesterday when i went to the toilet .When i wipe now is brown sticky mucus but i have cramps and all my symptoms were gone 2 days ago so i am pretty sure i misscaried .
I am waiting for a call from my local EPU today not sure what they will do

MrsG280516 · 28/12/2016 11:08

So sorry Nicky. I do hope you are wrong though, there's still some hope if there hasn't been lots of blood. The EPU will need to scan you, especially if you haven't miscarried fully (there would be a lot more blood I think if that were the case). Look after yourself Flowers

Musicgrrl · 28/12/2016 17:46

Any word from EPU nicky? Thinking of you and keeping fx.

mrs how are you doing? Where are you at with your symptoms? Your scan is Friday right?

I will be 7 weeks tomorrow and really thought I'd be feeling it more than I am. Doesn't help the anxiety!

MrsG280516 · 28/12/2016 19:12

Hey music, I've had some nausea on and off but I generally feel pretty good. I'm less bloated this week than I was last week too so I think my body is getting used to the changes. Yep scan is on Friday, really looking forward to it now.

It's hard not to worry about the lack of symptoms but it's more common than you think, you obviously hear a lot about people who are very sick and had a really bad time of it but the majority of people don't suffer too badly.

HellsBellsK · 28/12/2016 21:37

Really sorry Nicky still have everything crossed for you x

Musicgrrl · 29/12/2016 10:38

mrs really glad you're excited about the scan. What time is it tomorrow? Will be thinking of you!

I know you must be right about sickness.I really think tv and films have a lot to answer for on that as people expect to get it and then worry when they don't!

MrsG280516 · 29/12/2016 13:58

It's at 11.15 Smile I think we'll send a "happy new year" text to our friends who don't know yet with a photo of the scan if all is well!

WantingBaby1 · 29/12/2016 18:57

Enjoy the scan mrs, will be thinking of you!

Had a rubbish day, think I'm coming down with a cold and felt "morning" sickness all day. Don't feel like eating. Ugh :(

Musicgrrl · 29/12/2016 20:40

Ooh wanting - are you feeling less symptomless now then? Sorry that you're feeling so rubbish though, hope you can keep the cold at bay!

mrs that's a lovely idea - Xmas and NY are great times for reveals! I'd love to see your scan pic Smile

nicky still got you in my thoughts Flowers

kavanaughkj · 30/12/2016 04:13

Insert long yawn here ... gah. Is anybody else finding their sleep patterns are totally out of whack? I'm exhausted during the day but then can't sleep through a full night these days and keep waking up at around 3:30 - 4am. It doesn't help that DH snores like a chainsaw either :( Nausea getting worse these days too - like you, Wanting, I had a full day of "morning" sickness yesterday (though thankfully still haven't actually vomited).

It's symptoms at least so that makes me happy I guess but sooooo tired at the moment. Trying to move apartment this week and have work to catch up on during a week off, but at least I can nap during the day. Feel sorry for DH though as I've been constantly disturbing his sleep too.

Hope the scan went well MrsG! And still hoping you're OK Nicky. Flowers

kavanaughkj · 30/12/2016 04:15

Um, hope scan goes well, even - apparently I can't read at 4am ...

Musicgrrl · 30/12/2016 10:05

Can someone talk me down? Worked myself up into a bit of anxiety this morning. I'm 7+1 and off to a funeral today (not close family). I had assumed that I would be feeling sick and exhausted by this stage so probably wouldn't go and it's just hit me that aside from darker, larger nipples (sorry for tmi!), acne and random twinges/heavy feeling in my abdomen I feel totally normal. So anxious about my scan next week and am now being a bitch to DH as he is not saying the right things to comfort me at all! I need to get a grip.

kavanaughkj · 30/12/2016 10:30

I don't think you have anything to worry about Music. Just think, there are women who practically give birth without knowing they were pregnant. If you're not nauseous and exhausted, enjoy it (as much as you can before a funeral anyway). You'll be fine. Flowers

kavanaughkj · 30/12/2016 11:04

Just seen on the TTC thread Kwick is upduffed Grin will be good to have her here!

Hey FXSkip, where are you? Come join us! :)

marmitecheesetoast · 30/12/2016 11:19

Eek that's super exciting about Kwick!! And FXSkip too? Brilliant news!!

My sleeping was really erratic in first trimester too Kav I was also often wide awake at 4am. It got lots better in second trimester and stopped needed to get up for a wee. Just in the last few weeks it's been a nightmare again, with hip pain and this cold probably not helping either. About to order another pregnancy pillow in the sale that I'm hoping will help- even bigger than my current one, there'll be no room left in the bed for poor DH!

Hope funeral goes as well as it can Music I really wouldn't worry your symptoms sound perfectly normal for that stage of pregnancy and similar to what mine was at that stage, honestly you'll be thankful when the sickness hits you (if it does) in a week or two!

Wondering how Nicky got on at EPU? Thinking of her and hoping she's ok Flowers

How did the scan go MrsG?

25 weeks today!! Shock and we bought a pram yesterday!!! First proper baby purchase - v excited! Starting to feel a lot more real now! We got the Uppababy Vista which currently has £200 off in John Lewis if you buy it in red! Also got a few other bits in Mothercare sale, eeeek!
