I found it very bizarre last time when people used to rub my tummy ! Not had any this time despite being rather big in the bump area !
I feel the same carolann Smile

Cloeycat · 03/11/2016 13:05

How early can you get braxton hicks? I'm only 23 weeks but can't think what else it might be. Every so often (no pattern) over the last few days I can feel my whole tummy go real tight and sore for about 10-20 secs.

MotherofA · 03/11/2016 15:36

I read something about getting stomach pains and spasms regularly on my pregnancy plus app . Apparently it's a normal part of pregnancy . Not sure about braxton hicks maybe google it ? Smile

Imavinoops · 03/11/2016 16:05

Mother One of my apps mentioned possible Braxton Hicks these week and I'm 22 weeks. I was under the impression they could start around now.

MotherofA · 03/11/2016 16:25

I never knew that , I didn't get them with
My first pregnancy at all Smile

Happygojo86 · 04/11/2016 08:46

Apparently.... all women get braxton hicks all the time. They are obviously worse in pregnancy because your uterus is so much bigger. It's more common to feel them in second pregnancies than first. I only felt a couple with DD. I have been wondering I I have been having some this time but I have too much flubber to tell if my tummy is going tight! Grin

It's not painful as such just a bit sore, like I guess tender? And then when the 20 secs or so passes its fine again. I think it has to be Braxton Hicks, I'll talk to my midwife when I'm next in!

Haha Hugh nothing wrong with a few neutral bits. We bought our first out fit at 12 weeks so neutral and I still want it to be her first outfit for coming home in as I love so much Smile besides I am still trying to convince anybody wanting to buy her something there are other colours to pick other than PINK! I am not really a girlie girl so would love it if she isn't covered in it.

Does anybody know what the measure codes mean? FL HC etc

Carolann8584 · 04/11/2016 16:56

They are on the back of my scan info and wondered what they were measurements for Smile

CatalinaFuckingWineMixer · 04/11/2016 18:22

I think FL is femur length and HC is head circumference but someone more knowledgeable may come along.

Carolann8584 · 04/11/2016 21:17

And AC? Smile

CatalinaFuckingWineMixer · 04/11/2016 21:26

Abdominal circumference 😊

MissClarke86 · 04/11/2016 21:35

Yep that's what they mean. Mine came with a handy scatter graph - our baby is right in the middle for head and abdomen, but has slightly longer than average legs !? OH and I are both 5,5".

Sonographer said "Maybe it's the postmans" Grin

Carolann8584 · 04/11/2016 23:52

Haha. Thanks ladies Smile based on the points marked on my charts she is just right for how old she is Grin

Dozygirl · 05/11/2016 10:27

We've just had a baby born on our unit ( neonatal nurse) and he mum was told she was having a girl twice and she's given birth at 28 weeks and it's a boy! Obviously just happy to have her baby but what a shock to her to not only give birth early but also find out its not a girl. it's stories like this that made me ultra paranoid the whole way through my pregnancy with dd that she was going to.come out a boy 😂

NameChange30 · 05/11/2016 10:50

Dozy Yikes! I guess there is more chance of mistakenly thinking it's a girl (because they couldn't see the penis) rather than mistakenly thinking it's a boy!

Carolann8584 · 05/11/2016 11:12

Oh please don't say that bought our one and only pink outfit yesterday Confused
