First day up and off to work in NYC today, feels very strange that DTs are almost finished at school for the day and I'm off to work on the other side of the world. Also, Americans are so very friendly!

I had my growth scan today and it was fine. She's going to be small (probably under 6 pounds), but she is growing along her curve and her legs had grown enough to put them back on the chart. I'm very relieved.

Had my gtt this morning. Results in the morning, havent a clue what way its gona pan out. Baby is measuring big but on growth scan when i was in hospital last week he was bang on. How accurate is measuring anyway.

Nojo I was the same, bump measuring big and was waiting for GTT results at the time (since found out I've not got GD) but at 20w scan baby was measuring just fine. I have another bump measurement on Thursday with midwife. But from what I've read, bump measurement can vary so much, could just be baby sitting high in your tummy!

Elodie hope New York is not too stressful and just think of the baby bits you can bring back.

BigFam how is your friend and her little one getting in.

Bump measurements differ so much as you say it depends on how the baby is laying. I was also told that the growth scans can get it so wrong too. My friend was told her baby would be 5lb and was nearly 8lb.

My GTT results came back clear which is good. However does anyone else's bump really hurt when laying down or sitting down?

I cant lay flat. Had a nightmare last week when i went forvmy VQ scan, they did it over 2 days and i nearly fainted 3 times. Today when midwife was checking baby i was flat and a wave of emotions hit me, i felt sick then started crying (felt so stupid). Didnt help that she was listening in on baby where im very bruised from getting clexane injections last week. God im hating this pregnancy...

Oh nojo that's awful. I get awful evening nausea i hate it. Can't even have a bath without feeling so ill after it.

Ah nojo that sounds rubbish.

I keep frightening myself as I keep waking up on my stomach, I'm 28w - I shouldn't be able to sleep on my stomach.

Nojo that sounds soo tough. Just remember it will all be worth it in the end and I'm told you forget the pain once baby arrives.

turnips im normally a belly sleeper and have struggled big time.. but theres no way i could manage to even get on my stomach lol

Nojo if I lie on my back I get stuck like an upside down beetle and DH has to assist. That's real love!

Glad to hear the scan went well soloman and that you're relieved. Nojo my bump measurements are always off, in all of my pregnancies I've measured small because when I reach around 34 weeks my fundal height doesn't seem to increase.
I haven't seen my mw since my 16 week appointment because she cocked up, she wrote in my notes "see at 24weeks" with the date 19th of september. I text and called her to double check because by then I had just passed 28 weeks and thought she might have got it wrong, had no reply so attended the appointment and her room at the gp's was all locked up I can't get hold of her because her phone is only in use on friday's. So I don't have a clue when I'll see her next!

Lovewatchingrainfall I've not heard any updates, so hoping they are noth doing well.

How's everyone else getting on with toddlers climbing all over you? Dd3 spends most of her day digging her elbows into my bump & it feels horrible!

bigfam DD forgets a lot! Had all kinds of bumps / knees to the bump we just remind her of her little brother growing, and she usually says sorry and sings him a song.

Long day in London today, my brain stopped working at 4 as I was so tired. Now I'm home to find dd still awake.
