Amazon are saying it's the actual pod when people are contacting them. No problem ladies, glad to help Grin

billabye · 06/08/2016 11:56

I've also ordered one. Hopefully they won't cancel the orders when they realise their error.

Essybird · 06/08/2016 13:25

Thanks Biggam I've ordered a sleepyhead too!

LittleBear01 · 06/08/2016 14:00

Thanks Bigfam - I've just ordered one too. What a bargain! Smile

zazie7 · 06/08/2016 14:12

Thanks Bigfam, I've ordered one too. Hope it's not a mistake, that's a really good price.

I haven't posted here for a little while, we had our 2nd anatomy scan and the baby was in a much better position, everything looked good which was a massive relief.

DartmoorDoughnut · 06/08/2016 14:16

Thanks Bigfam, we've still got DS's one but have told my friends who are expecting!

If anyone sees the Out n About Nipper double pushchair in a sale could they shout at me?! Thanks!

Yay thanks so much bigfam ive just ordered one as well! Brilliant find as they are over £100 in john Lewis

cnchapmanxx · 06/08/2016 15:24

Im so new to this but whats a sleephead pod? what are they for are they any good?

lilydaisyrose · 06/08/2016 17:35

I'm not getting the sleepyhead pod or next to me crib love - am I weird?? Is the sleepyhead pod thing instead of a bouncer? Do you use it with a stand or lay baby on it on the floor? Or is it for nighttime? Maybe it's because I had my first 9 years ago and am out of touch (& also very poor), but I am just planning to buy a second hand crib and a cheap bouncer.

flyawayblue · 06/08/2016 17:52

Thank you big family just ordered, it was on my wish list x

FestiveFran · 06/08/2016 18:14

I'm totally trespassing on this thread as I'm not until Feb but double check the Sleepyhead thing - right at the bottom of the product description it says 'Box contains 1 x Sleepyhead Deluxe Cover'.

I might be looking at the wrong thing completely though https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00K2S5JPQ/ref=cmcrrarpmbbbdcrb_top?ie=UTF8

Firsttimer16 · 06/08/2016 18:29

Hi festivefran I've just seen the same thing - I think it's a mistake in the title - the description right at the very bottom says:

Box Contains
1 x Sleepyhead Deluxe Cover

Very confusing and misleading advertising.

FestiveFran · 06/08/2016 18:50

If you check on Camel Camel Camel (Amazon price check site), the price has always been around £40 so it looks like it's definitely the cover even though the copy and many reviews seem to contradict that. Guess someone typed the info in the wrong window or something.

billabye · 06/08/2016 19:10

If it does turn out to be just the cover I'm sure it can be returned easily enough. Fingers crossed though. Lily I plan on using the sleepyhead inside the crib at night as well as downstairs for naps. We had hell on earth with my DD getting her to sleep as she hated being swaddled but had a strong startle reflex. We used to have to roll towels around her to mimic being held which was a huge PITA and I worried about their safety. The Sleepyhead is supposed to deal with all that safely. There are cheaper options, such as the Purflo baby nest, which work in a similar way, although I'm not sure if they're approved for night time sleeping. If the Sleepyhead on Amazon is a mistake then I plan on one of those instead.

Insertwitticismhere · 06/08/2016 19:58

I'm happy to have taken a punt on the Sleepyhead...Amazon's return process is really easy & no quibble. For what it's worth I tried to have mine delivered to an Amazon locker but it said it was too big...surely a cover on it's own would have been fine? Fingers crossed anyway Smile

Bigfam · 06/08/2016 20:07

A lot of people (myself included) who have contacted amazon are saying it is the pod. We contacted amazon after being confused by the advertisement & description... if it's a mistake I can just return it but hopefully not. Smile

DartmoorDoughnut · 06/08/2016 20:08

Sleepyhead is also great because you can cart it around so easily, I put it in the kitchen table while baking, in the playpen when he was tiny and on the sofa. Meant he couldn't roll/fall and was comfy, totally fab! Plus when travelling he fell asleep ok because it was his bed, used it for safe co-sleeping too

By safe I mean I wasn't willing to give up my duvet - we have single glazed sash windows - so it meant I didn't have to change my sleeping habits - well apart from not sleeping Grin

FestiveFran · 06/08/2016 20:19

Cracking deal in that case isn't it! Someone must be kicking themselves somewhere.

FestiveFran · 06/08/2016 20:25

Caved and ordered one. Getting a bit ahead of myself. Shall now leave you all to your December babies! Best of luck everyone and thanks for posting the pod details.

Minispringroll · 06/08/2016 20:25

Had the same response as Bigfam, with Amazon saying it's the pod and not just a cover. The weight is also stated as 1.7kg,...so unless it's a really heavy cover. Grin

ImYourMama · 06/08/2016 20:26

Checking in and confirming my place on team pink Grin

SouthDownsSunshine · 06/08/2016 20:56

Excellent on the sleepyhead, I've just ordered one :)

goinggrey1978 · 06/08/2016 20:58

Lilydaisyrose, I don't know what a sleep pod is either and I'm not getting a next to me crib either, just an ordinary lullago chicco crib and everything so far has been 2nd hand or at least half price, I'm on a tight budget too!!
