Chapman your OH is lucky. I'm the opposite mine is annoying the hell out of me and don't really want to cuddle touch or anything. Feel bad for him as he isn't doing anything wrong I'm just being a cow.

StubbleTurnips · 22/08/2016 16:13

Hannah me too Hannah, in my first pregnancy I really worried that I'd never want him near me again. It passed a long while after baby came though.

cnchapmanxx · 22/08/2016 16:33

hannah haha bless you, im sure tonight mine will do something to p*ss me off!! tbh i still go through periods like that normally when hes winding me up but throughout this pregnancy ive been really clingy surprised he hasnt told me to get a grip!!

Bigfam · 22/08/2016 16:42

Offer at mamas and papas, if you spend £50 or over you get a £15 voucher

bumbleclat · 22/08/2016 17:48

You're all so organised, buying things.
I think we need a travel system, cot and some new born clothes. Also a set of drawers for clothes.
My mind's gone blank about the need hit anything else.

Theaks · 22/08/2016 18:00

Amazon prime free baby boxes are back in stock ladies. I ordered mine xx

NotAClue82 · 22/08/2016 18:03

I don't think I could manage to wash my hair over the bath and breathe at the same time. Respect!

25 weeks pregnant today and feeling pretty good. Had another scan this morning (my 14th!) and my girls are doing pretty good. The little one is still measuring very small, but she does continue to grow at her own pace which is good. They just need to keep growing & I need to keep them inside of me for as long as possible!

Feeling more confident with every week that passes. Hope you are all well!

firawla · 22/08/2016 18:06

Anyone have a new link for the Amazon baby box? I can't get anything to come up. Hope it's not run out again already!

Where are people thinking of buying the nursery furniture from? I was initially thinking IKEA but now wondering about buying one of those full sets from somewhere with the cot, drawers and wardrobe together in one purchase

Hannahcarp27 · 22/08/2016 18:11

Saying the boxes have ended due to demand my end?!?!

firawla · 22/08/2016 18:32

That's what I'm getting too hannah

Also got an email from mamas and papas they're starting a baby event that seems to have good discounts! So I might look at the furniture there, not that we're ready to buy it yet as nowhere to store it for now!

www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017XPYVKO Try this for the Amazon box. This is the link that was given to me via email from Amazon. They said offer ends 30th sept.

Thisisbonkers · 22/08/2016 18:49

I wouldn't say I'm being irrational, but people are being infuriating at the moment. I could swing for people (mainly DP!) just for breathing wrong... B&Q will get it in the neck this time though...

Despite what I've just said Grin could I have a PFB sense check please? My friend has offered to lend us her Moses basket. It was new for her last baby. I mentioned needing a mattress for it and she said it had one. So am I being PFB? Or should I buy a new mattress? (Only John Lewis don't sell mattresses to fit their baskets 🙄).

StubbleTurnips · 22/08/2016 19:04

bonkers new mattress for each baby is the guidance. There's a company we've used online for mattresses that has every size going:

babymattressesonline.co.uk

barkingtreefrog · 22/08/2016 19:32

theaks did you get the box free? It's just saying £46 and when I add it to my basket and go to checkout it's still £46... I do have prime and I do have a baby wishlist...

Minispringroll · 22/08/2016 19:43

barking They told me it's a technical error and to try again tomorrow. Hmm

Theaks · 22/08/2016 20:11

Yeah they gave me a code via email that Changed it to free. I don't know if it's a universal code or just one provided for me. M6SS-WDM4HX-6YR56X This was the claim code I was given but don't know if it's a universal code.

Bigfam · 22/08/2016 21:28

Save £5 when you spend £30 on mini club clothing: MCLOTH5

barkingtreefrog · 22/08/2016 22:13

Theaks thanks, but that didn't work for me Sad. I wonder why I didn't get an email if I've got a baby wish list?! (and I'm Prime...)

I asked the Amazon chat thing and they just said:
I have checked with my team and as all the units has been claimed, the promotion has been expired and that's the reason you are not able to avail the promotion.

You've got to be so quick with these!!!

Theaks · 22/08/2016 22:28

What really they sold out already. I don't know why I got a email today. Maybe because I asked them last week about it? Hopefully when they bank in stock you will get a email

barkingtreefrog · 22/08/2016 23:08

The Amazon chat thing advised me to sign up for the promotional emails (I'd opted out of all of them) so I ticked the baby box and hopefully I'll be notified of any further baby bargains!!

excitedmummytob · 22/08/2016 23:12

They originally told me promotion had ended! I mentioned via chat that I knew others who ordered them today and they agreed!

veryfriendlylion · 23/08/2016 00:05

Hats OFF to all of you who have toddlers/children + pregnancy. I've just spent the last two days looking after my niece and nephew who are 3 yrs old and 18 months plus and extra Labrador who I swear is more needy than the children) and I am exhausted!

SIL did give me lots of hand me down equipment (monitors, Moses baskets etc), though, so always a bonus! Given me a kick up the bum to start buying some bits, currently have no baby clothes Blush

bumbleclat · 23/08/2016 07:44

Is anyone else feeling kicks much higher up now? (23 weeks)
I was feeling them low down below my belly button, now I feel them higher up.

Theaks · 23/08/2016 08:48

bumble I feel them all over! Mine must have spaghetti arms and legs! Ha ha

bumbleclat · 23/08/2016 08:51

Theaks I know! I can't believe I'm not actually going to see this little one until December I'm so impatient, might book a private scan.
