Ah South I'm sorry to hear that. You've had so much to cope with. Hope they fast track that counselling for you. Maybe never say never to the anti ds, just one day at a time? But understand why you'd not want to. Working can be a good distraction as long as it's not adding stress. Flowers for you and Star for baby for doing well.

Bigfam · 17/08/2016 20:52

SouthDownsSunshine Flowers
I think you're bloody amazing, also hoping that you don't have to wait too long for counselling.

Argos also appear to have a baby event on at the moment everyone Grin

Pregnancy dreams are strange & so real I wake up exhausted! Grin

Dartmoor I know what you mean about the dreams! Although I think my OH seems to be getting vivid dreams too at the moment, said he dreamt last night that we were in the hospital and he had his first cuddle with our wee man Smile

So I went to Morrisons last night and my local store is having a major refit so they had sod all in but a mound of pampers size 5 nappies as far as the baby event went!
Asked my mum nicely to check the store near her and she's managed to get a Baby Monitor today for us so I'm very pleased! Grin

In other news I'm feeling really off today, not sure what it is exactly just feel out of it! (22w4d)

StubbleTurnips · 18/08/2016 12:35

I've had another letter from the hospital, another UTI.

It's starting to make me panic now, I've felt a bit fluey for a couple of weeks but put it down to pregnancy tiredness and doing too much Sad

Firsttimer16 · 18/08/2016 12:36

Did anyone else just get an email from Amazon telling them their order of a Sleepyhead pod was actually just a cover and they apologise for he error??? AngryAngryAngry I'm going back to argue!!

Essybird · 18/08/2016 12:41

I had that email as well today firsttimer but I chatted to them yesterday and they said that I would receive the pod. So I am going to wait and see what I receive and if it is the cover, then I will refer to the chat and see what happens...

TipBoov · 18/08/2016 12:51

I got the email and a £10 gift voucher by way of apology. I wouldn't have ordered the pod at full price anyway so I'm not too disappointed, but it would have been nice to have received it!

SolomanDaisy · 18/08/2016 13:02

I got the email, so I just cancelled the order. Nice to have the £10!

duxb · 18/08/2016 13:12

Afternoon all - asda George baby event now on too X

Bigfam · 18/08/2016 13:20

I got the email as well 😣 some friends who ordered it have received the pod and others just the cover. Seems they're honouring some, but not all.

StubbleTurnips · 18/08/2016 13:40

first I've argued too, I had a confirmation from Amazon that I would receive a sleepyhead in terms of order, and then I double checked with them on email. Had a confirmation from that, so I've sent in.

If you don't ask, you don't get!!

Firsttimer16 · 18/08/2016 14:27

stubble i agree worth asking!! And yes the £10 is better than nothing I suppose! They are meant to be a god send so probably worth it full price anyway, just a shame as was very smug about having got such a bargain! I wonder how many got ordered in such a short space of time once word got out!!!

BristolLFR · 18/08/2016 14:30

Well that was a waste of day! Went up to London this morning predominantly to deliver a training course this afternoon, had a 10am meeting first. Felt absolutely fine on the train / tube, but 10 mins in to the meeting I went all dizzy and hot and nauseous and spent the next 2 hours sat on an office floor with my head between my knees!

Now on the train back to Bristol (accompanied by another Bristol colleague just in case). My boss called the doctor as my midwife wasn't answering the phone and it's quite normally apparently, low blood pressure. Quite scary though :(

TipBoov · 18/08/2016 16:13

Sounds scary bristol, hope you feel ok now.

StubbleTurnips · 18/08/2016 19:26

Will let you know how I get on, I'm in a heated row with Deepam from Amazon who has just called me 'confused' Grin

It's a good vent of pregnancy rage!

becciandbump · 18/08/2016 19:38

southdownsunshine hope you are okay, the counselling sounds like a good idea to get you through the next few months it can be as good if not better than anti D's ive found in the past. Sending hugs your way, stay strong xxx

StubbleTurnips · 18/08/2016 20:41

bristol hope you're feeling better and are home safe Flowers

I am not getting anywhere with Amazon, I'm now onto someone else. If nothing else they put up a good fight!

TipBoov · 18/08/2016 20:43

I haven't cancelled my order, just incase they despatch the actual pod and not the cover... I can always send it back!

StubbleTurnips · 18/08/2016 20:51

I haven't either Tip, fingers crossed!

Looseyloo411 · 18/08/2016 20:59

Quick update from me as I have left the December group, went for my 20 week scan and found out baby has lots of extra fluid.. Couple of weeks on and we found out it was around his heart and lungs putting them under huge strain and in his tummy (also under his skin around his whole body) they have operated and put shunts through his back into his chest. Last weeks scan showed some improvement on one side but not the other. Weekly scans at JR to check position and drainage.
Don't currently know the cause and survival rate is still quite low but looking better than it did a few weeks ago. Positive thoughts xxxx

I contacted Amazon earlier today and they are going to send me the pod, which should arrive tomorrow. I'll let you know whether it's actually arrived then. Took a little while but the lady on the chat was really helpful. Had to cancel my initial order and the re-order the pod through a link.

Minispringroll · 18/08/2016 21:07

Oh Loosey that sounds terrifying. Hope everything will work out ok.
