Oh I know what you mean chat my DS was born at 36 weeks too so I'll be expecting an early delivery this time too if all goes well. I had an EMCS last time but am not thinking about how to deliver this time yet! Early days!
Congratulations smiles that's lovely news!
I'd be up for joining a Facebook group but not till a bit later on maybe once we have our 12 week scans out of the way?

Strubo · 17/08/2016 22:31

I'd like a Facebook group as I'm struggling to keep up with this thread! After 12 week scans is probably best though, maybe around October?

Congratulations to new BFPs!

BertieBotts · 18/08/2016 00:04

This seems like a nice thread. I'd be disappointed ifeveryone decamps to Facebook. Do the threads keep going as well? It's been a long time since I was on one! October 08 last time.

I'm not really feeling excited yet but not feeling worried either despite previous mc. Just very relaxed and what will be will be.

Have been a bit dizzy and spacey this evening. I think I'm just tired though as it's late. I left everyone playing cards to go to bed! :)

DS asked if I have a baby in my tummy today but he's always asking that so I don't think it's any kind of sixth sense.

We are thinking of getting one of those tests with the week indicator to give us an idea of how things are going because I probably won't call my Frauenarzt until next week and make the appointment for the week after.

jpeg28 · 18/08/2016 07:17

Morning everyone... This morning I woke up and needed a wee... Went to the toilet and found it really hard to go... Went back to bed and I was in absolute agony. Like so bad I was considering calling 111 or something as it was 6am and no one is home with me. After about 10 mins where I was almost in tears it got better, still a dull ache. I'm worried it's ectopic or something, has anyone got any experience of them?

drinkyourmilk · 18/08/2016 07:32

Oh jpeg that doesn't sound good. I'd call your gp or local midwifery service. I suspect you need a scan to check everything is OK. Fingers crossed Flowers

Welcome to all the newbies, we'll have to have another roll call!

To all those with spotting and bleeding Flowers

BertieBotts · 18/08/2016 07:40

Yes I can't add myself to list right now but my stats are dc2 and due 26 April (for now).

Jpeg that sounds like it could be a uti. Get to gp today and hopefully they can sort you out.

Jaffacakes1234 · 18/08/2016 08:23

Strubo id love a Facebook group too, I'm in one that originated here for March 2015 and we are all still posting and supporting each other, had quite a few meet ups too. Much easier to follow than one big thread! Smile

Bubbinsmakesthree · 18/08/2016 08:28

It does sound like it might be a UTI - get yourself checked out either way jpeg - hope the pain has subsided. Flowers

We had a Facebook group with my last mumsnet prenatal posse set up about halfway through which was lovely later on for photos and there's still about a dozen regular users now 2 years later, it's been great to watch them all grow up! But I reckon it's better to keep most of the chat on here for now. I found last time that things got easier to follow after a while as you get to know the regular posters - I think lots of people post at first as they need an outlet when they haven't shared the news with family and friends, but then don't always continue posting much. I posted loads last time as we didn't tell a lot of people until very late as we had complications and the mumsnet group was a lifeline!

marmitecheesetoast · 18/08/2016 08:28

Sounds like a uti to me too jpeg get an emergency docs appointment or go to walk in centre as you'll probably need antibiotics. Have had many of them in my time and the quicker you get on top of them makes such a massive difference.

I was sick in the sink this morning when I brushed my teeth Hmm wonder if this is beginning of sickiness for me, I'm 5+4.

Think I might try and ring maternity number for hospital again tomorrow. Just not really sure what I'm actually supposed to be doing now. Will the hospital then organise a booking in appointment through community midwifes? I'm so confused. All GP said was ring this number of maternity unit at hospital asap but they didn't want to know on Monday. Didn't actually tell me when to ring back either Hmm

BertieBotts · 18/08/2016 08:32

Yy to emergency apt. I got utis in my first pregnancy and they were very concerned that I got treatment ASAP as it can be dangerous in pregnancy if it goes onto your kidneys.

jpeg28 · 18/08/2016 08:35

Thanks everyone. Sat at doctors waiting to go in. Hoping it's a UTI as at least that can be treated!

MyGreenSofa · 18/08/2016 08:49

Marmite - I think you should give them another ring. It's annoying they were very short with you last time - it's all so run of the mill for them but obviously not for you! They won't have available appointments immediately I would imagine and booking in appointments are usually at around 10 weeks, so it makes complete sense to be getting on the list for that now! Hopefully someone better picks up the phone this time!

marmitecheesetoast · 18/08/2016 09:02

Thanks green I think I will. Got a really hectic day at work today so think I will try and pop out at lunch tomorrow for a surreptitious phone call (feel so paranoid someone from work will overhead!!)

marmitecheesetoast · 18/08/2016 09:02

^Overhear not overhead!

Glad you've got a docs appointment jpeg

gemsbok · 18/08/2016 09:14

Good luck at the doctors jpeg, get some cranberry juice too!

Id also be up for a Facebook group - they are completely secret, so no-one knows you're in it. I'm still in my November 13 group, it's as active as ever, and has been a great support.

jpeg28 · 18/08/2016 09:47

The doctor thought it was an ectopic so I'm now at hospital. Brings back memories of the MC so I'm not feeling very positive. Doctor wouldn't even entertain a urine infection so I'm going to beg the hospital to test.

Hope everyone else is ok!

Jaffacakes1234 · 18/08/2016 09:49

Glad you are getting seen jpeg

BertieBotts · 18/08/2016 09:53

Oh no jpeg, hand holding here if you want it. Hope they are just being over cautious.

Jaffacakes1234 · 18/08/2016 09:53

Gemsbok I'm in too if there's a fb group when people feel comfortable with it, think I joined the match 2015 one when I was about ten weeks but as I was due the end of March they had mostly had scans by then and it was very active. Still is there's lovely ladies and constant chatter.
