Flowers5 · 25/07/2016 18:52

Hi Ladies,
Please may I join? So happy for everyone!
Ovia has calculated my date as the 30th March, but I am unsure how accurate it is, & everyone on the March group seem so much further along!
I am also feeling bloated, anxious, but SO excited! X

Mummymulb16 · 25/07/2016 19:18

Welcome flower!

I too have a cold and nauseous only in the evenings so far! Not complaining tho had really bad HG on 1st pregnancy !

RebeccaCloud9 · 25/07/2016 22:02

Ugh, so bloated! Feeling twinges where everything is starting to shift too. I find it incredible how everything starts to change so quickly!

RebeccaCloud9 · 25/07/2016 22:02

The tiredness kicked in yesterday too.

drinkyourmilk · 25/07/2016 23:19

Hi ladies, I got my bfp this morning, then retested this evening. Can't believe I'm actually pregnant. Result of ivf, and I couldn't be happier! Grin

drinkyourmilk · 25/07/2016 23:20

Oh, due April 3rd.
I've had cramping and stretching (ongoing), vile wind and some nausea- usually in the evenings.

MonkeyArms · 26/07/2016 07:33

So happy for you milk! Yippee!

summerskittles91 · 26/07/2016 08:22

drinkyourmilk Mummymulb16 I get nausea in the evenings too.. don't feel too bad in the mornings. I'm finding being in the car is making it worse too.

I feel way too bloated Confused I've had to already start wearing baggy clothes, everything else just feels too tight Blush

I wonder whether my 3rd April due date will stay the same. Does anyone else feel like its waaaaaaaay too long to wait for the dating scan at 12 weeks :(

Mummymulb16 · 26/07/2016 08:32

I put on some trousera this
Morning and I couldn't do up the buttons so I have had to wear some other trousers I can't believe how quickly things change!

drinkyourmilk · 26/07/2016 09:37

Thanks monkey.
I know my dates are exact due to ivf, and I'm lucky I get a scan when I'm 7 weeks at the clinic.
We are also going to pay for a private scan around 10 weeks just to keep an eye.
Then it's just nhs scans.
I'm not feeling too bad atm, just bloated. I'm fat anyhow,so my clothes have some give still Grin

drinkyourmilk · 26/07/2016 09:38

When are people informing their Gps?

Cineraria · 26/07/2016 09:43

Ha, yes, I look about three months pregnant too. I remember it happening last time and couldn't understand why I as I was losing weight but didn't fit into any of my clothes. Then I read that the digestive system slows down so we can absorb more nutrients from our food and so our bowels are just more full than normal and stick out.

Congratulations to the newcomers!

Cineraria · 26/07/2016 09:47

I'll book an appointment this week or next week, I think, drink. I want to know exactly when my 12 week scan will be as I think I'm going to be going back to work around that time as my maternity leave ends then.

summerskittles91 · 26/07/2016 09:53

I might get an appointment at the GP some time this/next week. Although I think we can book direct with a midwife for 8 weeks.

Last time (ended in MC) my gp just gave me a leaflet, he didnt even do a urine/pregnancy test just said to go to reception and book a midwife app. Confused I feel like id be wasting his time seeing again.

ScandiManny · 26/07/2016 10:05

You just self refer to the midwife here but I'm going to wait until about 7 weeks to ring them (gives me something to count down to! Blush ). Then it'll only be 3 weeks to wait for booking in at 10 weeks and then just 2 weeks to wait for NT scan. My anxiety is through the roof so daft as it sounds breaking things down like this helps me a bit Smile

RebeccaCloud9 · 26/07/2016 10:18

Last time (DD is 21 months), I called the gp straight away and they just gave me a mw appt at c. 9 or 10 weeks. Seemed like forever! We booked a private scan at the hospital for around 8 weeks and it was the best £70 spent, we got a dvd of her as a little blob showing the heartbeat, and loads of photos. It was with a consultant and he did a really thorough medical check too, talked me through it all. Would book it again this year, but I think they've stopped doing them 😞

LotsaTuddles · 26/07/2016 11:39

Self refer to mw here too. I'll do it in a week or two because of waiting for the appt.

I'll also ring epu soon because they want to do an early scan because of previous mc's.

I'm trying to relax this time. Have had the cramping of things moving which I know is normal, but I'm paranoid now Confused

summerskittles91 · 26/07/2016 11:44

Exactly how far along is everyone? I'm 4 weeks 1 day. But found out about 4 days ago!

love2003 · 26/07/2016 12:15

I just called mw, will get appointment sent out to me for week 8-9. I am 5+2 today.

Sometimes I worry as I really don't have any symptoms Confused I know it's still early but hope everything is all ok. I probably shouldn't be wishing for symptoms but can't help but feel it would be a bit of reassurance that I'm still pregnant?!

MonkeyArms · 26/07/2016 12:34

I'm 4+5. Doing a lot of prodding my boobs to make sure they are still as tender. Got some weird looks in the car yesterday....

LotsaTuddles · 26/07/2016 12:44

3+5 here I think.

Pretty much symptomless too. Feel slightly nauseous, but with 2 toddlers running around I'm hoping it stays that way.

School run to look forward to in September too Shock
