Keeping everything crossed for you jpeg that it stays as spotting.

Assessment centre was pretty full on but ok. Draining enough at the best of times though never mind in first trimester. Currently at work trying to catch up but can barely keep my eyes open let alone concentrate. Sooooo tired!

marmitecheesetoast · 16/08/2016 14:57

Ps has anyone else had lower back pain? I've had a an achey lower back on and off last few days now which seems strange as obviously no bump yet and I don't normally have any problems with my back. Do you think it's me just feeling mild cramping/stretching in my back?! Just slightly concerned it's a sign somethings not quite right. So hard not to worry isn't it?!

summerskittles91 · 16/08/2016 15:15

marmitecheesetoast i'm struggling with lower back and tiredness :(
The back is quite uncomfortable, I don't know whether it's because I have bad posture or the way I sleep. I have bough a pregnancy pillow from mother care though, means I'm not putting all the pressure/weight on my back now. I find my back does get worse If I've been on my feet too long.

BusyNothings · 16/08/2016 15:32

Me too my back is killing me and sleeping on my side is so uncomfortable with such painful boobs. I was drilling over pregnancy pillows but thought 5 weeks was too early. Is it? Can I buy a pillow? Grin

Don't worry marmite sounds perfectly normal from what I've been reading!

ScandiManny · 16/08/2016 15:48

Just stumbled across an offer for a local scanning place. £29 for an early reassurance scan so I've booked in for Friday morning. Excited and terrified in equal measure.

Keeping everything crossed for you Jpeg. I had brown spotting with both of my boys, actually also had a full on bleed twice with DS2, and they were both fine. Funnily enough I've worried on and off that I haven't had it this time Confused

Mummymulb16 · 16/08/2016 15:52

I have lower back pain aswell I just feel like o am about to start my period! Am I the only one that think the month of August is so slow! I can't wait for it to be September!

Hope everyone who is having spotting is ok don't worry I had it with my first and she was fine x

Midrog · 16/08/2016 16:17

Scandi you must live near me, I've booked the same for when I'm 8 weeks :) Congrats to all the newcomers Star

I can't stop sweating today. It's absolutely vile lol!

summerskittles91 · 16/08/2016 16:20

BusyNothings buy the pillow! I've been wanting one for a week or two and finally gave in. I'm 7 weeks atm and have been suffering with lower back pain from pretty much 4 weeks.

Mummymulb16 · 16/08/2016 16:21

Does anyone feel smelly but also doesn't like the smell of perfumes and deodorants! I can't stand the smells and think I smell tooHmm

BusyNothings · 16/08/2016 16:28

summer it's sooo tempting. Which one did you go for?

Bakersdelight · 16/08/2016 16:29

I'm definitely with you all on the lower back pain and tiredness. Hope things are ok jpeg

summerskittles91 · 16/08/2016 16:37

BusyNothings

I got this one;

www.mothercare.com/pregnancy-care/mothercare-narrow-sleep-body-pillow/845914.html#q=pregnancy+pillow&sz=12&start=15

I did go in store though, and they only this one that looked good, theres quite a few good ones online though. I usually get really hot in the night too and this still stays cool which is good.

marmitecheesetoast · 16/08/2016 16:48

Thanks guys, not just me then. It just seems strange as not really something that is mentioned as a symptom so early on. Mine is worse when I'm sat down at my desk all day. Slightly worrying how sore it is already when I only have a black peppercorn in there! Confused

Theknittinggorilla · 16/08/2016 17:19

My back has been sore too. I have a bad back anyway but definitely worse since pregnant and I'm only 4+ 3 (time is going so slowly already).

BusyNothings · 16/08/2016 17:45

They have those bolster cushions you could get one for the small of your back marmite we have the reheatable bean bags at work as a few of us have bad backs and they are amazing.

Oooh they look good summer no idea how you're supposed to pick the right one for you though!

ScandiManny · 16/08/2016 18:18

Midrog I think they have 3 clinics, I'm nearest to the Newport one Smile

BertieBotts · 16/08/2016 18:55

Last time I was told brown spotting is normally nothing especially early on.

I'm not feeling any symptoms at all yet. If I go by ovulation I'm 3+6 today but going by LMP I'm 4+1. I've been sleepy, but no more than usual. And I've felt nauseous for a few seconds randomly over the last few days but nothing I'd really call morning sickness.

The one weird thing is that I've had horrible chapped lips for the last week, which is exactly the same as I had last time before I knew I was pregnant.

BertieBotts · 16/08/2016 18:56

Oh, except my boobs are really sensitive today.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 16/08/2016 19:33

Thinking of everyone who has had their pregnancy snatched away from them Flowers

I'm suffering from back pain too. A reminder of the terrible back pain I had throughout the 3rd tri last time. Literally the best thing about giving birth was the immediate relief from the pain (meeting DS was fairly cool too, but paired in comparison Wink )

naranciata · 16/08/2016 19:41

Haven't managed to keep any food down today and am feeling cold and shakey and tearful. Also have stabbing pain just in from right hip bone.

MonkeyArms · 16/08/2016 19:47

My worst moment so far has been being sick in the supermarket and then crying all over DP in the central aisle Sad. One of those moments when I realised how incredibly lovely he was for just standing there hugging me and not caring about the weird looks we were getting....

naranciata · 16/08/2016 20:03

MonkeyArms he sounds lovely.

DH just offered to go to the shop for ginger biscuits for me, having googled nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. Bless.

Jones1980 · 16/08/2016 20:03

So been to work today come back had sleep woke up spotting got an emergency scan at 9 in morning just like to say hope everything goes well for you ladies been lovely talking to you all

MonkeyArms · 16/08/2016 20:17

Fingers crossed for you jones

naranciata your DP sounds lovely too. It makes you think how rubbish it must be for them seeing us feeling crap and not being able to make it better (or take their turn.....)

drinkyourmilk · 16/08/2016 20:21

I had an early scan today at the clinic (ivf ). Saw heartbeat! I'm so happy and so relieved Grin
