Wonderful news drink Grin

Keeping everything crossed for you Jones Flowers

everdene · 16/08/2016 20:42

I've totally forsaken vegetarianism (have been veggie for YEARS) - I scoffed a McDonald's cheeseburger yesterday! My DH was really laughing as it's so out of character.

Feel so tired today!

choccybiscuit · 16/08/2016 20:50

Great news drink!
Good luck tomorrow jones . It's a worrying time , I too still have pink spotting, my fingers are crossed for you.
I have my booking in appointment with the midwife on 17th September, I'll be nearly 10 weeks I think. I just hope I get there.

ChatEnOeuf · 16/08/2016 21:18

Lovely news Drinkyourmilk!

Fingers crossed for those with early bleeding/spotting. I've been through the same with every single one of my pregnancies (except this one...so far...) - lost three, two clung on - so there is often hope. I even drank a moderate amount of wine before scan with DD showed a heartbeat, so convinced I was that I'd miscarried!

Thank you Puggle, it's lovely to see you here. I'm sorry about your little boy too. Hoping for a smooth ride this time, for us all.

Bakersdelight · 16/08/2016 21:35

Fingers crossed for tomorrow jones. Fantastic news drinkyourmilk

jpeg28 · 16/08/2016 22:26

Great news milk!

jones how are you doing?? I really hope the spotting stops for you asap and everything works out.

My spotting has stopped for now but cramping is on and off. Not really painful but certainly noticeable. Can't decide whether to bring my docs app forward. Why is this so hard?! My last MC was at 7 weeks, this is so early, I'm trying to stay positive but it's so tough.

hummingbird100 · 17/08/2016 06:51

Hello everyone waves shyly I'm due April 25th, 6 BFPs since Monday, have a 2 yo DS and a missed miscarriage in April this year. So I'm really nervous and scrutinising every sensation or twinge!

cantmakeme · 17/08/2016 06:54

Congrats Hummingbird

cantmakeme · 17/08/2016 07:00

Has anyone had a weird experience with their child knowing about the pregnancy without having been told?? My DD (5) casually told me that I have got a baby in my tummy. I laughed it off and asked why she would think that and she said "I don't think it, I know". She said this when I had only the faintest of lines on the test, and I wasn't talking about it (other than via messenger to my sister).

Bubbinsmakesthree · 17/08/2016 07:45

That's interesting cantmakeme ! My two-year-old son has suddenly started being really clingy with a childminder and with me – we are both pregnant! My childminder thinks it is because he 'knows'!

LotsaTuddles · 17/08/2016 08:10

Yes cantmakeme my ds is 3 next month and keeps talking about "your baby mummy" and 20 month old keeps kissing my belly.

summerskittles91 · 17/08/2016 08:17

Just went toilet and saw red blood when I wiped Sad so panicked now

jpeg28 · 17/08/2016 08:22

cantmakeme that happened to a friend of mine! Her 3yo told me "my mummy is having a baby" in front of them and they hadn't even told him!

Congrats hummingbird!

My spotting has stopped but cramps are pretty much constant now. Fingers x it's normal!

summerskittles I'm really sorry... Do you have an EPU near you?

marmitecheesetoast · 17/08/2016 08:28

Thanks busy will look into them.

That's great news milk

Hope everyone who is having spotting and bleeding is ok and FX for you all.

everdene that made me laugh! Don't feel bad about it, your body is obviously telling you what you need Smile

monkey that sounds a bit traumatic but at least you don't know anyone in supermarket or have to see them again!

Glad to hear of all the lovely DHs/DPs out there looking after us all

choccybiscuit · 17/08/2016 08:30

summerskittles, hope your ok. Call epu and see what they say. I think as we have more blood pumping round our bodies and a lot of it preparing us down there, I think it may be normal to have some blood from time to time. I've had pink spotting for nearly a week now. I know it's frightening though.

Bubbinsmakesthree · 17/08/2016 08:30

Hope all is OK summerskittles - give your midwife or EPU a call if you are worried.

This is such an anxious time Sad

hummingbird100 · 17/08/2016 08:48

It really is, hope everything is ok summerskittles

BusyNothings · 17/08/2016 09:11

Hope everything is okay. summerskittles Flowers

I need some advice please. I got my bfp mid last week. I'd had food aversion dizziness and insomnia and exhaustion and evil boobs and nipples since Monday last week. Did a frer on Monday this week to double check (obviously) and it was very faint. Did a CB digi yesterday and got the same amount of weeks 1-2 even though it should now be 2-3 and I've just done another cheapie today and there is a real squinter of a line. I've barely had any symptoms this week as they al calmed down on Sunday besides painful nipples but even they have calmed down. Would you go to the doc? I'm terrified it's turning into a CP.

jpeg28 · 17/08/2016 09:15

busy was it FMU? I'm sure it's just the hormone taking time to increase. If you can leave it another 48 hours hopefully you should see a difference in colour. I really hope it gets darker for you!!!

BusyNothings · 17/08/2016 09:16

Yeah all fmu Sad I can feel the knots twisting in my stomach. I hate this.

jpeg28 · 17/08/2016 09:27

Oh busy it might not be bad news. If you have a good docs could you ask for blood tests to see what's going on with hcg??

Muffin7 · 17/08/2016 09:28

Morning all. Please can I join in? I am pregnant with our second little one, went for an early scan and the edd is 3rd April, if accurate this little one will be born 2 weeks before our first turns 1. It was planned, but can't help thinking we are slightly crazy. Morning sickness has properly kicked in this week, and all I can think about is chocolate fudge cake.

BusyNothings · 17/08/2016 09:34

Thanks jpeg i don't think my docs would do anything. When I rang to say what do I do now they just gave me an appt for 8 weeks and said that was it. I'm trying desperately not to freak out but I feel like crying.
