Busy is it the hook effect? To much hormones? I've read ladies dilute the urine to get a stronger positive again. I'm not sure about it all really

Scaredmouse12 · 17/08/2016 10:24

Hey everyone
Just joined MNSmile
Six weeks in....
Feeling quite tired and unwell already.
Very excited, incredibly nervous (legs like jelly)
Look forward to sharing journey

Big hugs to those with worries and welcome to newbies.
I'm trying very hard just to chill and go with the flow. Midwife appointment not until 8th September - seems like such a long time away.
I can't stomach cake at the moment muffin. I went to see a friend yesterday and she'd made a victoria sponge. Looked lovely but made my stomach churn just thinking about it!

Tentatively hopping on board if I may?

Got a positive at 12dpo this morning. Have a DS and have been hoping for another.

Calculator says I am due 30/04/2017

Went to the docs. She's pretty sure it's a miscarriage or cp or whatever you want to call it. Been for blood tests. Got more on Monday with results on Wednesday but just a matter for the course she's pretty sure. Im going to be off for a while. Good luck for all of you Flowers

hummingbird100 · 17/08/2016 11:11

katemarob17 · 17/08/2016 11:44

Hi everyone, we did 2 tests over the weekend which were both positive and been to see the drs and she put me at 6 weeks and 5 days, obviously may change when we have the scan. Due date calculator says 14th April. It doesn't seem real at all to my husband and i at the moment (first timers) and i don't think it will until we see 'it'. No sickness but my boobs really hurt and a bit bloated but other than that, i'm feeling super. Both trying to be patient waiting for the midwifes call now............

Muffin7 · 17/08/2016 11:48

Congratulations Kate! I felt just the same as you with our first one, enjoy it!

Theknittinggorilla · 17/08/2016 11:48

Went straight to urgent care who referred me to epu, they got me a scan straight away and just seen babies heartbeat. Feel so relieved! Measuring 7+3

Theknittinggorilla · 17/08/2016 12:19

Fantastic news skittles!! Bet you feel so relieved!

SharkBastard · 17/08/2016 12:31

Hello!

I'm tentatively joining this thread. I tested on Monday having woken up feeling like absolute poo! The second line appeared almost instantly! Going from my LMP I'm due 23rd April.

I have an 8 year old daughter, and have suffered 2 miscarriages over the last 2 years. I'm being realistic, but this pregnancy the test lines were so strong unlike the last two failed ones.

Several symptoms, feel nauseous, sore boobs, stretching pains, tired legs and bunged up nose!

Congratulations to all and my sincerest sadness to those who have had to leave early Flowers

choccybiscuit · 17/08/2016 12:34

Excellent news skittles! So pleased for you.
Congrats to all the new bfp's! Grin

ScandiManny · 17/08/2016 12:36

Great news Skittles Grin

So sorry Busy Flowers

Allaboutthecake13 · 17/08/2016 12:39

Congrats kate - think we have the same provisional due date! I am also awaiting call from midwife after an underwhelming appointment to the nurse to confirm last week. Any idea on when midwives get in touch to make arrangements for booking in?

Fingers crossed for everyone with troubling symptoms and so sorry to hear your news busy Flowers

Puggleface · 17/08/2016 12:46

Oh kate and cake I'm a due date buddy of the 14th as well - but i'm only 5+5. not sure how that works? How far along are you cake? maybe I've miscalculated somewhere?

Allaboutthecake13 · 17/08/2016 13:05

Congrats puggle - I am 5+6 so maybe we all vary a bit? Currently fighting the urge to have a little nap under my desk!
