Thank you quiteCrunchy saying that I am getting bad period like pains every so often for the last hour, fingers crossed this is the start. Or it just settles so I can go to sleep x

Hi everyone. So, 11 days over!!! Went to midwife today and had an examination and sweep. Cervix short and soft, still to efface a wee bit but gave a good rumble and managed to successfully sweep. She said baby's head is well down and she could touch it. She said a good two fingers in. To be honest it was not sore at all. I always thought it would be really uncomfortable. I have a Bishops score of 7. She is confident baby will be here ASAP.

Hope things are progressing for you jayne. How are things going shanster? Hope all is well. Hope all the babies are behaving for their mummies and that all the babies to be born are heading in the right direction!!!

Great news lainey!!! Welcome Jayne, hope things are moving along for you!! Crunchy, yes my PIl are great, FIL is building me a little kitchen in the basement while he's here and a long list of other jobs in the new house. I can relax in hospital knowing the kids are in safe hands, DH doesn't get any paternity leave but is taking tomorrow off at least. About to head into hospital now, could murder a cup of tea!!! This nil by mouth thing from midnight is hard going! I think the baby might have turned, I'm not sure. If he has his head is no where near engaged. We'll soon see!!!

Jayne266 · 22/08/2016 16:24

Hi lainey and shanster good luck to you lainey fingers crossed it will all be over with soon. I am currently in the hospital 4cm dilated I am feeling good so far. Just heart breaking to send my ds off to his nannies he's so excited.

Omg I feel so sick!! Had to stop eating my tea I thought I was going to throw up Envy please please be a sign labour is coming!! I'm so fed up, so uncomfortable. This baby had no space left and moving is painful Sad

Laineypopps · 23/08/2016 00:02

Contractions 8 mins apart for about 7 hours - now everything has stopped!!!! I could cry!!! I actually don't know how much more I can take. I really didn't want induced and I was so positive after midwife today but now I just feel like it is never ever going to happen. I have a Mat Outpatient apt at 9.30am on Wed. I am going to accept induction then. I actually feel like phoning tomorrow and just saying take me in. I'm done.

Sorry for the moan ladies, I'm so fed up....

AddictedtoGreys · 23/08/2016 00:10

lainey I know how you feel. Had mild contractions every 10 minutes for the past hour and feel sick again but just get the feeling it is all going to fizzle out again Sad just remember your baby can't stay in there forever and had to come out at some point soon

lainey and greys you both sound a bit fed up. I really hope your contractions get going and labour gets started properly. Whatever happens, you'll have your babies very soon but I know that's cold comfort right now.

Best of luck.
