Alpha omg the carbs I've had today are crazy. I'll be the size of a house if I continue like this lol but making the most of it now before the sickness kicks in!

Daisy I do not feel pregnant at all either... I've also had cramps for 3 days like light af pains but I've read that's completely normal. I'm paranoid every time I go to the toilet that there will be blood but luckily there hasn't been, I'm sure we will be fine :). I have no symptoms at all yet.... kind of wish I did just so it felt more real.

DaisyBank82 · 30/06/2016 18:39

Thank you Name and Jjspoon. It's reassuring to know it isn't just me. I just spoke to my husband on the phone (he's still at work) and he said, "yeah you had that last time too. And you had some spotting". I do not remember this AT ALL!

SuperDuperJezebel · 30/06/2016 18:53

Daisy and Namechange I also have that, mentioned it to the GP yest and she wasn't bothered at all, surprisingly. Oddly I had exactly the same last time which is why I didn't test until I was nearly a week late, I kept figuring my period was due any day because I had the cramps to go with it.

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/06/2016 19:32

Congrats to the new bfp.

Dozy sounds like we are in a similar position except I am back at work now. Still breastfeeding, semi Co sleeping.

Daisy, I had that last time. My gp said it was pelvic congestion (I think) all the blood redirecting to where it's needed I'm.other words. Made me feel cold too. Which I am a bit now and have a sore tummy and back. So hopefully nothing to worry about.

alphabook · 30/06/2016 19:49

I've got a constant dull ache like period pains as well. It is worrying but apparently it's a normal part of pregnancy as the uterus is expanding and the embryo is burrowing in. Smile

NameChange30 · 30/06/2016 19:57

Thank you notta and alpha, very reassuring and good to know why! Smile

MonkeyPoozzled76 · 30/06/2016 20:19

Daisy, Super, Namechange, I been just the same as you. I had much stronger pains and felt some nausea last weekend and hope that was implantation. This tailed off and I've now had much milder pains for the last few days and apart from being away with the faires and tired I feel ok. Serious knicker watch is ongoing.

Such a worry theses first few weeks, feeling slightly loopy as DH has been away all week so it's lovely to read how everyone is getting on here. Flowers

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/06/2016 20:20

Has anyone else got an upset tummy? I don't know what to do about it really, had it for nearly two weeks. Had the opposite problem last time with constipation but more towards the end.

MonkeyPoozzled76 · 30/06/2016 20:21

Nottalotta, I'm freezing cold too, I thought it was just the crap weather!

Sparrowlegs248 · 30/06/2016 20:22

I was just putting ds to bed thinking he needed more layers on, butt he felt warm. His thermometer said 23! I had goose bumps.

MonkeyPoozzled76 · 30/06/2016 20:28

I'm wearing my fluffy winter pj's and sitting under a blanket. The cat is looking at me funny!

MonkeyPoozzled76 · 30/06/2016 20:29

Is anyone else having really vivid dreams? I've woken up the last few nights completely freaked out and needing to pee Confused

DaisyBank82 · 30/06/2016 20:46

My teeth were chattering on the walk from the office to the tube last night! Having soda that, it was 8pm and I was in sandals (where is the summer!). Loads of us feeling similar, so reassuring!

Dozygirl · 30/06/2016 21:03

Yes to the cramping too. I remember having it last time too. It's so hard to not to worry in the early days. I honestly didn't think I was going to get a bfp so thought the cramping meant I was about to come on my period but the tests say otherwise. Apart from the heightenedheightened sense of smell I don't feel pregnant. Changing my dd nappies is interesting haha.

notta I'm also semi co-sleeping. She was doing really well until recently she's started waking up in the night again and I don't have any patience so just bring her to bed with us.

DaisyBank82 · 30/06/2016 21:14

We still co-sleep from about 2am onwards. I stopped breastfeeding in May but she still comes in for cuddles. Since stopping feeding she has slept through the night in her own bed a grand total of twice! I'm the same as Dozy. Bringing her into my bed is easier than trying to resettle in her own room.

NameChange30 · 30/06/2016 21:18

Is anyone else having trouble dealing with the bizarre combination of joy and hope about pregnancy v despair and anxiety about Brexit? I actually got my BFP on the morning of the referendum result. I feel like my world has been turned upside down personally but also in terms of the bigger picture... I'm delighted to be pregnant but feel very sad and angry about what's happening. It's a strange state to be in, to say the least!

I realise we might have different political opinions and really don't want to start an argument. I just want to talk about the emotions really and what a rollercoaster it's been (and still is).

I also wish I could tell my family and friends as I think it would cheer them up a bit! But we're not telling them just yet.

2ManySweets · 30/06/2016 22:07

NameChange I've got zero mental bandwidth left for politics chat but I'm saying

YES

and

TOTALLY AGREE

re your post above x

mynameisntLinda · 30/06/2016 22:08

I'm freezing cold all the time. Even put the heating on. Girl at work who's due in Jan is also cold so we'll be cranking the heating up at work.
I've got an achey back and I've just been to the loo and there's red blood. I'm fearing the worst and don't know what to do. First mw appointment isn't until a week on Wednesday. Who do I even contact if something might be going wrong. Just want to cry. I had light spotting at 11 weeks with dc1 but this is worse as not as late on. I'm probs somewhere between 4-6 weeks ish. :,(

Cloeycat · 30/06/2016 22:11

I'm new here and don't quite understand all the abbreviations and acronyms (if someone could explain that would be great!) but just found out today I'm pregnant. 4 positive tests 😮 Online calculators tell me I'm due mid-March and I am absolutely terrified. Started a new job on Monday (would never have changed jobs if I knew this was coming) and as a result won't qualify for SMP which will make things very difficult.

I guess I'm just looking for support or reassurances. I'm 25 and living with my partner- 1st child for both of us.

2ManySweets · 30/06/2016 22:19

Linda can you call the antenatal unit at your local hospital? That's probably the best way to seek help right now. I'm totally crossing everything for it all being okay. Go speak to the experts my love x

alphabook · 30/06/2016 22:23

I'm really sorry Linda, I agree about calling the early pregnancy unit at your local hospital. Got my fingers crossed everything turns out to be ok x

alphabook · 30/06/2016 22:31

NameChange - I'm also finding it a weird thing to mentally deal with when I'm over the moon personally but the country seems to be falling apart!

Cloey - congratulations! I'm also starting a new job soon so won't qualify for SMP. Maternity allowance is only slightly less though, and I figure we'll have to make the best of what we've got.

Ha, I was just reading everyone's comments about feeling cold thinking I haven't been cold, and then DH just asked "aren't you warm with that cardigan on?"

alphabook · 30/06/2016 22:32

Monkey - I've had a couple of really vivid, weird dreams where I've woken up feeling really upset!

2ManySweets · 30/06/2016 22:43

I had a dream last night I had an affair with Mark Wright. Literally only just remembered that now.

WTF

alphabook · 30/06/2016 22:44

Haha 2Many!!
